BeatEmUps The B2 water boss is the worst. I kept dying and after 1 hr I beat it. I watched SammiiCake Gaming beat it the first time. I think it is an issue playing that level in handheld mode
But hey! @1:48 ish, I found out that it was "Outstounding!" Lol awesome job on the video and remember how much support you've got! You look like your doing alot better now. Stay safe
I only bought it two days ago with my second switch and honestly I played it for an hour and couldn’t really get into it. I found it so boring. I was gonna put it aside and leave it but then I was like “nah. I spent $80 (aud). Give it one more hour” and I FELL IN LOVE WITH IT!!! Been playing over 10 Hours and I got 4 floors left. Such an amazing game. I guess sometimes it just takes a while till you get into it.
"I don't want to give away too many floor themes" *proceeds to break down every single floor and it's contents* Good video though just thought that was funny
Switch the control scheme to omnidirectional, and point up and down with gyro! It's waaaay more intuitive than the default controls. It's probably the reason why I really enjoyed the water level, too, I didn't encounter any of the problems you talked about. Oh and in B2, vacuum in the direction you want to go to instead of blowing in the other direction. Made that boss a piece of cake.
Exactly what i was going to say. I didnt use the gyro controls because i played the game 90% with a gamecube controller... But I changed my controls to omnidirectional right from the start and made that fight super easy. Only hard part for me was, it took me a little bit to realize you have to avoid the boss to get him to miss and spin first.. Once i figured that out, it was easy lol
I waited 6 years for this game, 4 of which were spent writing to Nintendo asking for it and honestly, I ADORED this game! This is probably my favorite game of all time. Thank you Nintendo and Next Level Games for this masterpiece
Aidswayz Games favorite game of all time? Well i would have to respectfully disagree there. It took my 15 hours to beat and i have no reason to play it again for years probably.
What I did was stay By the ladder and whenever he’s going to spin I would walk up the ladder avoiding the attack and go back in and out until he got confused
Crootoovity yea the gameplay and the goal of the game is of course easy, we’re just saying how that boss with the games mechanics was just a headache compared to the rest of the game
Korgnation I mean I’m sure we all did. It’s really hard to actually die in that game especially with gold bones on your belt. But that boss specifically with the games mechanics was just a headache
Honestly the best game on my switch so far. First game that’s really got my girlfriend really interested in games. So it’s been a fun experience to play together
At the very beginning, if you look in the rooms at night, Peach’s bed is empty and perfectly made, but both sides of Mario’s bed are unmade and slept in
Hello Beatemups I think you missed how the duck in the water was supposed to be driven, you just needed to point the joystick in the direction you wanted to go and just blow air out and it will just move forward guided by the joystick like a car, moving up for right turn and down for left turns
i almost spit out my tea at the last three seconds thanks wood! i've been eyeing this game for a while now, i really dont enjoy platformers that muhc like mario but this game has really caught my interest. i think i'll actually check it out when i can find a lower price for it!
I'm a bit surprised that the duck section wasn't liked very much. I myself actually had a very fun time with that floor because, it for me was interesting and new I almost instantly got the controls down too if you just suck and press a direction you want to go with the left joystick it's like smooth butter legitimately like a car (not really but still). Oi love u mi boi. 👌 Yeh idk I like it good game 10 outta 10 for me
The money is used to give a different end reward, a better “mansion” once you beat the game. It was more pronounced in the other two, with Dark Moon giving you anything from a tent to a colossal mansion, but that’s what they money is generally for in Luigi’s Mansion.
haha when you said you loved every single second of the game i was like “lies” then you said except one floor and i said “ok i take it back” haha that level with the floats is HARD and ANNOYING.
Everyone hating on the water level while it was my favorite. 😨 I loved the design, I thought it was loaded with things to do, the duck navigating was a new mechanic that I really enjoyed, and I spent more time in it than most other levels. Call me crazy but the boss isn’t that hard.
Been falling behind on videos, NOT ANYMORE! I got all caught up and was able to watch one on the day it drops! Loved the video Wood, gonna have to pick me up a copy!
I played this game the whole way through with my 3 year old son. It was possibly the best experience I have had playing a game with anyone younger than 5. Gooigi is perfect for beginner gamers. You don't need Gooigi for help with most ghosts so my son just followed me around and sucked up everything, and did his puzzle parts. We both thoroughly enjoyed this game so much that we are doing another playthrough.
So much fun to play, I look the style and soundtrack. I get stuck at times (I'm a potato so its a struggle) but I really love when I get through it. The piano player gave me high blood pressure. Its just a whole mood. Its immersive. Im an October baby so natural anything spooky fun is great. Luigi is great because to me bravery is being scared but moving forward anyways even if you think you might lose. So much to explore!
I think the Luigi's Mansion 3 devs saw this video, 6:44 cuz I never noticed any of this, so I think they made a free update to fix those bad controls. In fact I like the basement 2 floor, once you get used to the different controls its actually pretty fun
The hardest boss for me was the piano dude simply because I have no aim. The only thing i didnt like was chasing the cat because it just felt pointless and felt like i was just there to make the game longer. But a great game nonetheless
Another great feature of the game is how you can play co-op as one person being gooigu and other one luigi. It's so much more fun when you play the levels with your friend and just see 2 versions of luigi causing chaos
They should’ve gone the Mario Odyssey route and had a ton of different outfits you could buy for Luigi. That would’ve made the obscene amount of money you’re collecting a nonissue lol. Just imagine Luigi walking around in a chicken suit 😂
I'm probably the only person who actually really enjoyed the B2 Boiler Room floor. I thought it was fun! And I didn't have much trouble with the boss. Honestly the Pirate one was underwhelming, and I was super looking forward to that floor. Least the boss was good. Good review tho, and I agree with most of the small complaints. Wish the money was used for something more and the multiplayer with randoms is annoying.
The first4figures majoras mask statue/lamp looks awesome I allways wanted that one. Sadly it's not available anymore and did not know about it at the time so I'm out of luck XD. They dont make that one anymore.
What we need next is an open world Luigi game filled with the similar, out-the-box oddities that came with LM3. The world of Luigi really is undiscovered territory in the Nintendo universe.
I thought the boss wasn't that difficult , because to move the left stick just left and right isn't the right way to control Luigi in the water. You have to rotate the stick and move it to the direction you want to go and then press and hold ZR. Or you push in the other direction to get there where you want. Hopefully it makes your boss fight easier ;)
I am so glad you made a Luigi’s Mansion 3 video!!! I totally agree they should have something more to do with money in the game, like maybe som outfits for Luigi like in Mario Odyssey.
Luigi Mansion 3 Is AMAZING one of my fav Nintendo Switch games of all time I wanna see Luigi Mansion 4 on the Nex Gen Nintendo Switch 2 console at 4K 🤤
Fun fact: the bombs in the b2 boss actually don’t explode the second you touch one. They have a timer which starts when you touch one. A lot of people probably already knew this but I thought I had to avoid the mines which made me limit the space I could go around. That plus ice physics equals a boss I didn’t realize I was making so much harder for myself.
I think you didn't understood the controls while floating on the duck: just aim where you want to go. Want to go upper-left? Push the joystick upper-left.
Actually, we did a research on Luigi's Mansion 3's stats and as it turns out, more than 80 players had the same problem with Gooigi on the fitness center, so its ok... you're not alone on that one.
I'm probably that one lone person who loves Luigi way more than Mario and love that this is his game and he's the hero! He's so cute and I can't wait to play this once I get a Switch.
The first Review that actually makes me want to get and play the game. Everyone liked it, but the passion you put into it just gets me excited as well. Keep up to great work!
I honestly had more trouble avoiding the shark ghosts in B2 than the boss. I kept Gooigi out on the edge so I didn't have to keep getting out of the water. Got him on my third try.
I actually really liked the water level boss fight, I though it was funny to see Luigi and the ghost fighting on rubber ducks. The controls seemed hard, but I though it was easier to suck instead on blowing to move around.
“There was one whole level that I actually couldn’t stand” “I need background music, let’s use the music from the level I couldn’t stand” 😂 I also didn’t like that level either. And I agree that the boss battle from the movie level was definitely great.
Your complaint about aiming left and right can be solved by changing control layout, the b2 boss with this new control scheme is easy :) I believe Spawn Wave talked about it
actually i fond a easy way to defeat the boss on the duck boat! 1. u can use your flash! everytime, the boss will step back a little bit until he touches the spikes and explodes. 2. Keep a glueigi on the bank. right after the boss explodes, use gluigi to suck and punch him.
That B2 boss is literally the worst boss ever. Once I figured out exactly how to do it, I only had to die about 7 times before I could actually finish it. Never again.
The controls are actually insanely easy. I didn't pick up on them at first because they're completely different from the rest of the game so because of habit it took me a while to figure it out. The control stick makes Luigi face that very direction and he doesn't overturn (Unlike how the game usually controls), press down-right and Luigi faces down-right and nowhere else. Once I realized this, the fight was very easy.
Oh in the boat area you just flip the boat with the joystick in any direction, if you flip it down Luigi will go down, if you flip up Luigi will go up, etc. Took me a while to discover it because it's really different and it has no tutorial for this part specifically but yeah it's really weird.
I think it is better when we took our time to finish all the story, because we are able to appreciate every detail and enjoy more the video game. This is not a competition haha, it's all about having an awesome experience. It took to me 21 hours to reach the Floor 12 🏖️⚓🚢
CR123 battery. There is a rechargable version, but it runs at a higher voltage than the normal CR123. (RCR123). You can get the batteries at Walgreens/Walmart/CVS
There is a super easy way to complete the “water level” You spam the strobe light and he backs up into the spikes. Let me beat the boss in 2 minutes, probably less actually.
Absolutely love this game. One thing i do strongly dislike about scarescraper though, is when you're sucking up a ghost and some random person online steals it from you.
Totally agree with the money aspect.... like they put it everywherrreeeee and then inexplicably give u nothing to spend it on... one of the few gripes i have with this game... but kiiinda a big one... cuz like u said lookin for the money they hid everywhere is fun but once u realize theres really no point... why would u continue to scour every room... other than that and the level u hate that i havent gotten to yet... games awesome... my gf actually asks me to play which never happens.. so somethin to be said for that
For the Duckie level, I didn't even notice the controls worked like that. Also, I never used the blow to get around, all I used was the suck in because it seemed easier to me. I managed to beat the boss fight first try, so to me, the level wasn't that bad, and while it wasn't my favorite, the boss fight was ok too.
Why is it, that every single RUclips reviewer refuses to pay attention during the tutorial segment of any game and then complain they don’t know the controls? How many times are you gonna piss on your foot before you move it? lol the games teach you how to play the damned game my man. Entertaining video in any case, I really enjoy the energy

Does he actually 😂
There is a super easy way to complete the “water level” You spam the strobe light and he backs up into the spikes.
Let me beat the boss in 2 minutes, probably less actually.
Yup
C u in December when u review pokemon! Lol
Absolutely love this game. One thing i do strongly dislike about scarescraper though, is when you're sucking up a ghost and some random person online steals it from you.
11:21 did anyone notice the windows xp sound? lol
The pup was one of my favorite parts of the game!!
I bought the game the moment it was released and finished it in 24 hours lol
Links Awakening you can finish in 3 hours...
Same lol. I finished it in like 18 hours. Kinda disappointing, the game could’ve had potential for more 😝
@@DarkWolfJr1000 Totally agree. But regardless it was still really good. BUT it could have been better.
Totally agree with the money aspect.... like they put it everywherrreeeee and then inexplicably give u nothing to spend it on... one of the few gripes i have with this game... but kiiinda a big one... cuz like u said lookin for the money they hid everywhere is fun but once u realize theres really no point... why would u continue to scour every room... other than that and the level u hate that i havent gotten to yet... games awesome... my gf actually asks me to play which never happens.. so somethin to be said for that
Who els didn’t die in Clem’s fight?
It was hard for me but jeez wood overdramatic much?
I was smart enough to change the controlls to Twin-stick shooter.. so.. everything was easy as pie!
Me, but only because I knew how to beat him before hand
I did lose a good amount of health, but it was otherwise easier than expected.
His whole family that means just Mario
You are brilliant mate. I love your comedic timing and the entertainment you bring!
I'm slow I thought wood was floating but actually he's in a chair spinning around whoops
I'm glad to hear you're Enjoying it Wood I have too play some more of it soon
Luigi’s Mansion 3 is incredible. Sooo good! 😃
I noticed that weird left/right thing in Mario Odyssey when controlling a bullet bill. It’s the weirdest and most unintuitive thing.
Sleeper hit of 2019 without a doubt.
I beat Luigi’s mansion before you made this video, but I’ll still watch it anyway
Luigi's Mansion 3 is my 2nd favourite game for the switch botw being number 1 nothing will beat botw
Mario Rocks Maybe BOTW2?
@@MajesticSerge Maybe?
Why is it, that every single RUclips reviewer refuses to pay attention during the tutorial segment of any game and then complain they don’t know the controls? How many times are you gonna piss on your foot before you move it? lol the games teach you how to play the damned game my man. Entertaining video in any case, I really enjoy the energy
I thought this was Pokemon Sword and Shield Review or gameplay athirst when I got the Notification.........
the game came out today, give him a few weeks
Katsuki Bakugo......k
Its raining and I had to sit through all my classes with soggy socks because my boots sprung a leak, but seeing your video managed to put a smile on my face so thank you.
I thought it was a OK game. Seemed to drag on and came across repetitive.
A lot of people seem to have miss that you can change how the control work in the menu. Didn't had any problems with the b2 boss
