4 years on and this video is still useful. I called my landlord but they said it’s not an emergency so I took things in my hands. How can someone say, that in the middle of winter, no hot water and heating is not an emergency??? Thank you so much!! Best thing ever 🤗
Perfect, thanks. You've just saved me a very cold day working from home! Simple, straight forward vid that's better than anything on the Baxi website. Cheers.
Absolutely the best video - I’ve referred to it quite a few times over the years and even have it saved for emergencies. As others have said, thank you for posting it and making the instructions so clear and simple.
I have no idea what a "Pouse" is, but many thanks for your video. After a bit of googling and viewing your video, I was able to re-pressurise my Baxi combi boiler. It was as you show, very easy, helped by the fact that my pipework was identical to the one you show. That saved me the cost of an expensive call-out, and a cold evening and night. Thanks once again.
Hi, glad the video helped. For your information, POUSE is my nickname and has stuck with me since childhood. Enjoy your heating and thanks for watching! p.s - Just send the call out fee in the post ;-)
Life saver, recently moved in to a new house and first time we’ve lost pressure so had a look for myself if it was an easy fix and this has just saved us massively 🙌🏻
Thanks Pouse! 3 years later, you and this video saved me the hassle of calling my landlord to check it. And besides, what kinda man would I be if I couldn't fix it myself. :)
I revisit this video pretty much every year. Thanks for making such a simple, straight to the point tutorial for those of us who can never remember what to do 🤣
It’s a cold night and I have two little ones in the house and the error code came up and we were literally freezing, saw your video here gave it a go, took me 30 seconds and now it’s up and running again. Kids think I am Mcgyver...😆. Thank you so much for saving us from the cold and also a heavy weekend call out charge. You certainly know your trade and you have earned my full respect. 👍
Thank you, Thank you, thank you. I went a whole day without Hot water with 3 kids. I was about to call out someone in the morning when by the grace of God I decided to do some research and came across this video. Very clear instructions and videos. Thank you. God bless 🙏
Saved my day as my heating didn’t come on due to low pressure & I wasn’t sure how to re-pressurise. Followed the video and my heating is back on. It’s Easter weekend so it’d be at least a couple of days before I’d be able to get someone in so I’m very grateful. Thanks so much!
Legend mate, am at an Airbnb and lost pressure didn’t want the landlord to come round cause the place is a mess! You helped me sort it ASAP! Thanks brother!
Hi, glad you enjoyed the video. I have loads more you maybe interested in so please subscribe, watch and share! I have ordered them into playlist so if you want plumbing videos they are all together. Hope they help with future projects. Thanks for watching.
Thanks! I had a heating failure this morning owing to a water pressure drop (Baxi Assure combi boiler), but was able to get it going again thanks to your video.
Thank you thank you thank you! Dad said it would be easy to bleed the radiator, I did it after he went home, he didn't say anything about the pressure going down & the boiler instructions give no clues on how to refill the boiler! You've save me from a few cold weeks until a adultier adult is here next! :D
Thanks, easy to follow and worked a treat. I had bled the radiators and the boiler stopped working due to low pressure, saved me calling out an engineer.
Thank you so much for this. You just saved me and my kids from experiencing a disaster by morning. My daughter has a mock test tomorrow morning and a cold shower is the last thing She needs.
Thanks for the great feedback Tony. For more DIY tutorials please subscribe for regular videos and check out some of my other videos. Glad to have helped and thanks for watching! Good luck.
wow cheers you're the man,im clueless with electrics ,plumbing diy etc but within 30 sec i had my hot water back and just to feel really proud of myself i put the heating too (mine is slightly different to this one it a "potterton promax combi HE plus" and its the 2 black taps at the front ,open the left first then right and keep your eye on the gauge)thanks sir saved me £90 call out
Thank you so very much Pouse!! I watched this aswell as your 'how to bleed a radiator' and I've managed to get my boiler up and running again. I feel like an achiever! Invincible!! And warm of course!!! Haha. Thank you, saved me a lot of hassle, especially as I'd had family unexpectedly turn up. (Not good with no hot water or heating..). I've fixed it though thanks to you : ) Cheers!!
Thank you.. Was scared to touch them but I followed your clear instructions and it's fixed!!! Thank you thank you thank you and thanks again!! For this simple but effective video.. Saved me time and money and I'm more educated too.. Xxxxxxx
Thankyou so much, your video helped me to turn back the pressure on my boiler. I did not have to wait until my husband to come home . It was simple and clear . 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Thankyou so much for this life saver! 😊 Something I thought we would have to pay a call out charge for and what ever els on top and yet its so simple. Thanks again x
Thanks bud, bought a new house and they didn't go through filling in too much detail on the home demo and didn't think to ask - then last night I vent my en suite towel rail (first world problems) before I go to bed and the pressure drops like a stone and I realise I don't know how or where the refilling loop is - so I turned everything off and left it whilst I went to sleep. Mine isn't exactly the same as this; but there was more than enough information here (after taking off and reattaching one of the knobs because it couldn't be turned because it hit the knob further back) to sort mine out. Now both my towel rails are air-free (the master bathroom one was also shockingly devoid of water).
Thanks mate, I was struggling as one of my valves wasn't moving and I thought I was using the wrong valve. I started looking for other ones including the black ones. Could've had a big problem if it wasn't for your video. The valve was stuck that was all ha ha, Put extra force into it and it worked. Would never have done that if it wasn't for your video. Well done mate.
Thanks for commenting about your issue with the valves being very stiff. I was worried about putting too much force into it but that was just what they needed
This vid just saved me a callout...thanks buddy! I wasn’t sure how to repressurise this boiler because I never had to do it since it was fitted in originally and it’s very different from my previous boiler system...also I was never shown how to repressurise this model of boiler until I saw this vid! Thank you 😁
Thanks bud... I have work today and really could not wait in for an engineer... That simple fix just saved me a lot of hassle! :) Not that I need teh heating right now... We have a heat wave here in the UK... But I do need a shower when I get home!
Oo mannn. I came now at home try to give shower to my two babyes and notice that no hot water no heating. I was so worried because of the shit corona virus. I text to my letting agent , i am sure he will answer me in monday and now is saturday. But i did that what you show and everythings work... Thank you mate God bless you. Thank you.
That's great news. Hopefully saved you a few quid on a plumber as well! Thanks for watching and don't forget to watch my other videos, there maybe more money to be saved!
