This was very useful. My husband usually dealt with things like this but he's no longer with us so I have to work things out for myself. I looked at the manual and it says nothing at all about setting the timer - just a vague "some models have a timer which can be set manually." Now reset my timer & it's working fine. Thanks.

Strange. On my Grasslin Timer the Pin selection is opposite of what you're saying. When the Pins are Out the system is OFF and when the Pins are in the system is ON. I'm wondering if the "original" owner wired the controls differently. I would stick my head in to take a closer look but the power/control box only has about 6 inches between the box and a shelf. Anyway. Your instructions are spot on. Thank you.

Hi Mike, if it's a sticking valve, you can unscrew them by hand. For what they cost, if you can't fix it just buy a new one for a fiver and screw back into place. I know you've tried it already but in case you haven't seen it I do have a video on how to bleed a radiator - ruclips.net/video/imaHTAt3sE0/видео.html. Thanks for watching and good luck with it.
