I LOVE. YOUR PODCAST. SO VERY MUCH. makes me happy. Thank you so much for the laughter, patterns, FO’s, WIPs and everything else. You girls are wonderful and you always make my day when you are on. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! Never change! 😘😁
Show = terrific. Sweaters = terrific. Thank you for sharing the patterns and yarns that you find. It is so great. No editing needed. You spread so much joy.
I enjoyed this episode! Lots of ideas and natural chatter between you. I'm not only interested in what you're knitting but also what has caught your attention and your color ideas. This was a pleasant hour with you! Thanks.
For what it’s worth, I don’t care for the podcasts with all the extra stuff. I watch yours because it is what it is: talking about knitting, sharing patterns, showing knitted items, YARN and the occasional yell at Georgia! Do NOT change a thing!
I'm so glad I was told about your podcast. I love your smiling faces - you make me actually physically smile when I log on. Thank you - it's so much fun to watch such happy ladies who LOVE yarn ♥
Yes, you can sew the sides of a sweater and take it in! My sister did this for one of my mom's Alice Starmore sweaters and it looks great. Wonderful knitting ladies!!!
Love this format of your podcast! And I appreciate showing off the patterns. I felt like it was an unattainable yarn commercial (stay at home mom budget) and and gift parade, so much better now. Thank you.
I love you ladies! I love all your knitting tip and just everything. I love all your knits and enthusiasm 💕💕 I’m so happy you love doing this. I look forward to each and every one.
SNOW, I cannot believe it!!! It is still so hot in Georgia!! So ready for cold weather. I love knitting sweaters!! Loved this episode.....everything to die for!!
Great podcast full of information. Your sweaters are beautiful. Wish I was coming to Knit City just to meet you both. Your hat and gloves are awesome too. Thanks for keeping it real... My favorite podcast. Cheers from Colorado. I wish it was fall here. Tired of the 90+ degree days. Bring on fall..
I’m SO proud of you girls too! I love your podcasts... I always watch you. Usually it takes me about 3 days until I see your whole podcast BECAUSE I go to all the patterns and yarn stores!
I agree with Trish. Thank you so much for the laughs and introducing me to new yarns and patterns. I always have a fun time watching your podcasts! Also, great sweaters! I think the positive ease looks great, so don't be so hard on yourself, Tracie!
I wish you’d do a daily podcast! 😆 now that my son is back at college and I have an empty house, you girls are like my friends that keep me company and take some of the quiet away!😍
Thank you for another great episode, ladies! Love your sweaters and will totally join you for a sweater in a week in January! Love this online community.
I just finished a sample Portage Sweater for Nicole Clark and can't wait to dive into another sweater! You two have gotten me hooked! As always, thanks for the honesty and the laughs! Looking forward to hearing about Knit City!
I really loved all of the chatting this time about your sweaters. As an inexperienced knitter I find it so helpful when you talk about changes you've made or would make and why. I also appreciate information about fiber content and how it works up and why you would or wouldn't use a fiber for your project, etc. I loved this episode so much. I really want to get to Knit City and meet you guys, but unfortunately that's just not possible right now. Feel better, Jodi! See you next time.
This will be my first time at Knit City and I'm so excited!! I can't wait to get your patterns. And, you should definitely stop by Tolt sometime. It's my LYS and I feel so lucky to have such a beautiful shop and great community of makers near me.
Another great podcast ladies - I felt just as if we were sitting around my kitchen table together chatting. You two are such naturals. Tracie, I am knitting the Floozy cardigan and loving it, but it is only through listening to the two of you that I have gained the courage to do so! Thank you. Looking forward to seeing you again soon at Knit City.
I love your idea for a sweater knit in January. I have all the yarn ready for a sweater, but with Christmas coming up fast and furious, there is no time for it. I've promised myself that in January that is when I'll knit MY sweater.
I really enjoy your podcast... for lots of reasons! I like seeing women my age & stage of life who also do this craft that gives me so much joy, and I love seeing all your projects, your FOs, your WIPs, dyers, patterns, yarn, talk about various plans and projects... just the whole vibe! You have it so right when you say makers are taking over the "F-ing" world... best line!! :) Also, if you go to Tolt, please give us a heads up because I live a couple hours south of there and have been meaning to get there, but would sure make a plan if I could meet you two! :) So glad you had so much fun at Knit City and I love your sweaters too.
Tracie, you asked for advise with steeking or trimming down sweaters that are too big. Yes! I have done that at least twice for cardigans. I ran a sewing machine stitch up/down where I wanted to shape and trim away to get better fit then cut off the excess knitted fabric. Since both cardigans were 100% wool, I wasn't worried about the frayed inside side seams where I took in the "seams". Now that the cardigans fit better, I wear them all the time.
Oh, thank you, thank you for doing the whole mitten!!! I have Ranaulds and my fingers freeze in the winter. I will definitely be getting these!!!! Yay!!!
Love love both of your sweaters! I really want to knit a sweater but haven’t gotten the courage up yet due to being a fairly new knitter. Love watching you ladies and all the awesome yarnie goodness!
Thanks for the laughs! Great podcast as usual. Both your sweaters are beautiful. Love the mittens, the cable hat, and all the wips. FYI: when I go to Costco for only 1 or 2 items I always wind up with a basketful!!
Ok, I’m going to share a story and a confession..I found you two about 8 months ago and binge watched all of your podcasts..I love them, and you. So I’m knitting a sweater with raglan sleeves and I have the back and sleeves done and had the front 4” from the armhole cast off and I realised the front panel was not right, it was just too big. I made that hard decision to undo the whole thing and begin again. So even though I’d watched the podcast already, I came back to it so that I could enjoy the banter and not think about starting again..thank you for taking the time to do these podcasts, I don’t have any local knitters, so you are my virtual knitting buddies..
You two make me laugh out loud with your diarrhea yellow and yarn in all the orifices 😆😆 also, thanks for introducing me to West yarns, they’re local to me because I’m Dutch! And it’s hard finding good indie dyers here so I’m very happy!
Love your mittens Tracie, I will be making some for me and for Christmas gifts, thank you, I will see you in Vancouver at Knit City. Ohhh Jodi your hat is gorgeous, this too is on my list for gifts for my family this Christmas.
Such a fun podcast! Excited to hear you're going to knit a Floozy. I just finished mine and it was so much fun to knit. I was learning new tecniques to me as I knit and it still seemed to fly off the needles and I'm a slow knitter!
It’s been a while since I’ve watched you girls and I didn’t realize how much I missed you! I love it, keep doing what ya do! 😁 l’m excited for the January knit along!
Tracie, you are rocking the sweater as is, I was thinking how great it looked before you started talking about it and tank looks fab with it, I’d wear it the same way.
LOL. I had to pause the show and answer you. I'm a homeschooling Mom and I'm knitting while I watch you. My 9 year old is waking up and doing her morning stuff. My 3 year old (just a tiny bit of homeschooling for him) is playing video games and I'm enjoying a few minutes. Otherwise I mostly knit after the 3 year old is in bed at night. I also work from home a few hours everyday so there's not much downtime. I pretty much strictly knit small things so it doesn't take years to finish. Socks, hats, cowls and the occasional shawl are my favorites.
Enjoyed another great podcast, ladies! I’ll be stopping by SweetGeorgia to pick up your patterns at KnitCity! Can hardly wait! I even finished the sweater I’ll be wearing!
Jodi has REALLY eaten up all of this - it's so amazing to watch...steeking with another method on a color-work sweater. So impressed. Actually, I'm so impressed with both of youz! My friend watched this podcast at my insistence and he gave me such a great compliment. He said that Tracie is my soul sister. He thinks that I am you. WOW, I was so honored!
Jodi, the sweater is absolutely stunning on you!! I saw it at Espace Tricot, but didn't plan to make it (I'm working on Jogi's boxy). However, you have changed my mind!
Will be anxious to see how you find the Beekeeper cardigan pattern to knit. A couple of us have tried her patterns but they are not precise enough for us. Lots of pretty sweaters came out of that kal. Good luck. Keep us posted. Beautiful sweater Jodi.
I have been weaving for over 40 years, and involved in other fibre arts. I am thrilled that crafting has come round to prominence again. I think social media is directly the reason why we are not crafting in isolation anymore. I had been the only Weaver in my area more times than I can remember!
Tracie! The Yarn Inc Stone colorway is DELICIOUS! It could be a wonderful balance between the Shibui mohair, which is beautifully subtle, and the blue mohair, which honors Joji’s stripes in the pattern but shows up on camera as a little heavy. The Yarn Inc Stone is such a soft colorway!
You can always throw it in the dryer for a few minutes (and watch it carefully)...I have done that with a few items that have come out WAY to large after blocking and it just shrinks them down a touch.
Thanks for another podcast Ladies. Perfect for my friday afternoon of knitting. :) Jodi, I just knit Tecumseh and steeked it. I used the crochet band method and it is super easy and fun! You will have no problem at all. Enjoy! :)
I’m so inspired by your new sweaters! I’m going to visit a yarn store next week that carries Woolfolk, so I’m planning to get yarn for a Turtledove then. Jodi, I’ve knit the Cocoon Hat by La Maison Rililie before in Luft, and it was fabulous, so that might be a good option for your leftovers. Thanks for another great podcast, ladies!
yes. you can use a sewing machine. Sew along with a straight stitch and then zigzag stitch over that and cut away the yarn. I did it to the armhole openings of a contiguous sweater I made that stretched out too much after a couple of wearings. it has held up for years with the sewing machine seams.
Homeschooling perks!! Knitting as you sit and help with school work! Knitting while your kids read to you! Knitting while they have homeschool recess! Knitting during class documentaries! Knitting while snacks happen.... Of course housework happens in between too!! The not editing your podcasts makes the whole thing that much better! Your giggles & laughter & chocolate eating are enough sound affects for me!!! Money cake would be my favourite in the K2T💗G Sock Club But, of course they are all amazing !!
We homeschool here in the US and I'm a knitter and I work full time outside the home :) BUT my husband is a stay at home dad. So I do the picking of the curriculum and he does the 'making sure it gets done'. Love you guys!
I LOVE. YOUR PODCAST. SO VERY MUCH. makes me happy. Thank you so much for the laughter, patterns, FO’s, WIPs and everything else. You girls are wonderful and you always make my day when you are on. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! Never change! 😘😁
Love love love how you have started sharing new patterns you have come across. Thanks!!
Show = terrific. Sweaters = terrific. Thank you for sharing the patterns and yarns that you find. It is so great.
No editing needed. You spread so much joy.
You ladies are the reason that I have now made six shawls and am still to make my first socks - thank you for the inspiration!
You gals are blowing up! Patterns, wow. Mitts are outstanding and that hat!
I enjoyed this episode! Lots of ideas and natural chatter between you. I'm not only interested in what you're knitting but also what has caught your attention and your color ideas. This was a pleasant hour with you! Thanks.
I love that boat neck! I think they look so chic, and it's not too baggy at all. Love love loved it.
Yes!!! Loved the episode. Thanks so much for your awesome post cast! I agree, crafters unite and the world would be a better place!!
For what it’s worth, I don’t care for the podcasts with all the extra stuff. I watch yours because it is what it is: talking about knitting, sharing patterns, showing knitted items, YARN and the occasional yell at Georgia! Do NOT change a thing!
Jodi- you are such an incredible knitter. Just adore your down to earth personality.
I'm so glad I was told about your podcast. I love your smiling faces - you make me actually physically smile when I log on. Thank you - it's so much fun to watch such happy ladies who LOVE yarn ♥
LOVE the weekender sweater! Looks great on you Tracie!

Love, love, love watching you ladies. Thank you so much.
I love that you make me laugh, inspire me to create, and take time to relax 💗
I wish you’d do a daily podcast! 😆 now that my son is back at college and I have an empty house, you girls are like my friends that keep me company and take some of the quiet away!😍
I realize it's pretty off topic but do anybody know of a good website to stream new tv shows online?
I'm with you, Tracey! Fall year round please! Have a blast at Knit City! It's on my Dream Trip list. :)
Omg the sweater colours matches the sock kit love it 😍
You are always so inspiring!!! Love spending my time with you. Waiting for your patterns with baited breath. Hugs, viv
Thank you for another great episode, ladies! Love your sweaters and will totally join you for a sweater in a week in January! Love this online community.
Love, love, your podcasts. They always make my day. That Sipila sweater kit is beyond stunning. Good luck to all.
I just finished a sample Portage Sweater for Nicole Clark and can't wait to dive into another sweater! You two have gotten me hooked! As always, thanks for the honesty and the laughs! Looking forward to hearing about Knit City!
I love the thumb on your mitts, Tracie! Totally Brilliant!
Like it??? I love it!! both of the special Knit City patterns are wonderful! Beautiful hat and Love the mittens!! Congratulations :)

Have to make the Siro socks!! I just put the pattern in my Ravelry cart. You gals always inspire me!!!

I love this sweater Weekender design. I did 2 last year and loved it. I gave one away and regretted it. Cozy sweater. It is great on you.
Love your pod cast. I wish I could come to knit city. Sounds like so much fun. Enjoy for me.
I think your sweater is perfect Tracy....don’t change it! I like the swatch sample better than the sweater on the needles.....go for it!
Traci: your knowledge of yarn simply by sight is amazing! I am in awe!🤭😀
Awesome podcast ladies, love that it is not edited 🤪 Off to check out all the inspiration 😍
Another great podcast ladies - I felt just as if we were sitting around my kitchen table together chatting. You two are such naturals. Tracie, I am knitting the Floozy cardigan and loving it, but it is only through listening to the two of you that I have gained the courage to do so! Thank you. Awesome podcast! Sound and picture were fantastic. Can’t wait to see your finished sweaters!
I love your hat and gloves. You're both very talented.
I love your idea for a sweater knit in January. I have all the yarn ready for a sweater, but with Christmas coming up fast and furious, there is no time for it. I've promised myself that in January that is when I'll knit MY sweater.
My husband and I both love Making It. Besides all the crafty goodness, the best part of the show are Amy and Nick's pun wars.
I really enjoy your podcast... for lots of reasons! Thank you, thank you and thank you again!! So fun! Wish I was going to Knit City...maybe some day. I’ll be there in spirit. 😘😍
Tracie--I just knit the Weekender holding two strands of Purl Soho's linen quill and I LOVE the drape! I knit it in the salt and pepper color way.
Tracie I don’t think your sweater is too big but it’s up to you on 5he amount of ease you’re comfortable with. Love you ladies, from a fellow 🇨🇦
I am definitely knitting your Hastings Mitts Tracie!!! LOVE them so much. Thanks for a fun episode ladies!!
Oh, thank you, thank you for doing the whole mitten!!! I have Ranaulds and my fingers freeze in the winter. I will definitely be getting these!!!! Yay!!!

Tracie I love your fingerless mittens and I too love a fingerless mitten!
Your sweaters are both so gorgeous! I can't wait until your patterns come out for your fingerless mittens!
Jodi feel better! I’m just getting over it! Rest , it lingers🤧!
Snow???? NOoooooo!
A sweater knit in ten days???? I bow to you super knitters!!!!
Ok, I’m going to share a story and a confession..I found you two about 8 months ago and binge watched all of your podcasts..I love them, and you. I adore the hat and your sweater. All I’ve seen so far. You two make me so envious! Here I am knitting socks like a fiend for a Granddaughter.
You two make me laugh out loud with your diarrhea yellow and yarn in all the orifices 😆😆 also, thanks for introducing me to West yarns, they’re local to me because I’m Dutch! And it’s hard finding good indie dyers here so I’m very happy!
The Knit City patterns are awesome !!!! So wish i could come over and get the printed version and get your help choosing colours. One day....
Love your mittens Tracie, I will be making some for me and for Christmas gifts, thank you, I will see you in Vancouver at Knit City. Ohhh Jodi your hat is gorgeous, this too is on my list for gifts for my family this Christmas.

I do love listening to you two. Can't wait to hear about KnitCity which was, quite frankly, obscene to look at on Instagram and it be so far away!
It’s been a while since I’ve watched you girls and I didn’t realize how much I missed you! I love it, keep doing what ya do! 😁 l’m excited for the January knit along!
Jodi you are crazy good with just going for it !! You inspire me to do it all.
😂😂 you ladies make me laugh out loud again today! Thank you for being so open and funny!
Jodi!!! I love my crocus bag, you're so talented!
Tracie, you are rocking the sweater as is, I was thinking how great it looked before you started talking about it and tank looks fab with it, I’d wear it the same way.
Wish you guys had a sticker as they are fun to put on water bottles and share our love of you!
Those sweaters....that yarn...what great colors for you both!! Congratulations

The colourwork sweater yarn reminds of the colour of a fox. It's beautiful xx
Thanks for another podcast Ladies. Perfect for my friday afternoon of knitting. :)
Jodi, I just knit Tecumseh and steeked it. I used the crochet band method and it is super easy and fun!

Wow love love the color you choose for your cardigan and the using to steek it really good idea 👍

Money cake would be my favourite in the K2T💗G Sock Club
But, of course they are all amazing !!
I’m so interesting in a January sweater challenge!!!!! The oxbow sweater by Andrea Mowry will be perfect
I do miss your "sock tawk". Made me laugh every time.
We homeschool here in the US and I'm a knitter and I work full time outside the home :) BUT my husband is a stay at home dad. So I do the picking of the curriculum and he does the 'making sure it gets done'. Love you guys!
my sister Margaret sent me your Galliano sock pattern which was perfect after we spent our knit retreat with you in the spring. Casting on asap
I love your patterns! Can’t wait for knit city! I want a selfie with you two. I hope. It’ll be my first time there
Weather here is 105 today and 101 for the next 2 weeks. I can't wait for fall and winter
Beautiful F O, thank you for a great podcast 🤗
Omg I think the subtle stripes in your Joji sweater is gorgeous Traci. Keep it. It’s fantastic.
