Welcome Back! I missed you both and so glad you took time off and just enjoyed yourself at Knit City. You totally make me feel better about myself for having a bunch of WIPs and a hoard of yarn. So glad I'm not the only one who is obsessed with yarn.
I have been checking RUclips for you gals. Been in need of a Tracie and Jodi fix and lo and behold here you are! I am so glad that you both had such a great time at Knit City and were actually able to relax, and what beautiful hauls! I love your patterns (as a shawl fanatic I am all about yours Jodi!). Knit City was fabulous this year! I happily waited in the Sweet Fiber line to purchase my yarn and so happy that they are doing so well. Such a great weekend, except that I didn’t get to see you both. Next time!
If I could give this podcast more than one thumbs up, I so would! I just stayed glued to it ... for three days. Lol. That's me watching every chance I could. It would be a dream if I could come to that retreat next May. You two are awesome! I'm currently knitting the scania shawl.

I love Midknit Cravings.....I needed a gradient set for a Stephen West shawl and I found them on Etsy. The yarn was a pleasure to knit with and the colors were fabulous. I wore it when I took a class from Stephen and he loved it too...

Tracie, if you didn’t want to do the whole sweater with the color work you could follow the pattern closer to the yoke and then gradually decrease how much color work you do towards the bottom. Kind of like its “snowing” from the snowflake pattern at the yoke. Just a thought...

I live in Fort Collins Colorado, My Sister Knits is my local LYS. Super cute, charming and they're always friendly. I've never done a knit night because I work crazy hours, but I wish I could. You should come north next time you're in Colorado. We actually have several nice yarn stores: Your Daily Fiber, Lambspun, and Loopy Ewe to name a few. We are a knitting Mecca.

I loved your Hamilton so much and how it looked on you (which is to say tee-Riffic!) that I have immediately gone right over to Ravelry and purchased the pattern. And even though it is 30 degrees Celsius here I am going to be starting on it so that I have it for winter next year.

Yeah! You're back! Great podcast. Sounds like each time you go to yarn events you are relaxing more and more. You seem to be enjoying it and not such a race to do this and that. Getting a house sounds so much better for a group of people. As usual you never disappoint in the projects and the yarn! Jodi I love your new shawl design. Lovely. And both of your sweaters are beautiful. Everything you do and get done makes me feel slow! lol I'm sorry you both have a bug. Feel better soon.
Thank you!! We had the most wonderful time just sitting, eating and knitting in the house before Knit City. The actual festival was SO MUCH FUN! It seems to fly by, and we are already counting the days until we return. 😁

Wear your Pom Pom with pride. If it makes you happy, go for it. I had every intention of visiting My Sister Knits earlier this year. But, only made it as far as Brown Sheep Yarn in Nebraska because of heavy rain and storms that cancelled the shooting event in Nunn, Colorado we were headed for. I intend to try again next year.

I'm not a Fringe Fan normally, but that Malibu Shawl is so groovy, I may have to make one! It has a kinda Native American vibe to it, I can see the Arizona Desert in that one. I love the Navajo rugs and that definitely has that look. Great job, Miss Jodie!

I was hoping to meet you at Knit City. My daughter and I loved it this year. We only went on Sunday, and I heard that Saturday was a lot busier. I am so fortunate to be going to the Knit Social retreat on Galiano next weekend! I’ve never been to a retreat before and am so excited! I live 30 minutes from the Tsawwassen ferry terminal so it was too hard to resist! I almost bought yarn for the Hamilton sweater but they didn’t have enough of the colour I liked. Yours is beautiful Tracie.
Those sweet georgia colors are to die for. I can't wait to meet both of you at the retreat. #isitmayyet

My Sister Knits is my absolute dream yarn shop! I was visiting my bestie ( who doesn’t even knit! ) in Loveland this summer and we did a little yarn crawl and I got to meet Nicole (Hue Loco) at her cute shop and we visited My Sister Knits in Fort Collins and it is the cutest with 😍 tons of fantastic fiber! You girls have to check it out the next time you’re in Colorado.

I'm Italian and I did indeed croak at the store bought sauce. Though, the worst was when my dad put store bought sauce on homemade ravioli. You can put homemade sauce on store bought ravioli, but never the other way.
