I would like to say that you two have gotten me through some deep sadness over the last 4 years. I’m 43 now and I lost my husband 4 years ago. I used your videos as a lifeline and laughter ❤️. Thanks for the memories! Alex from Kingston ❤️
Dear Alex I lost my hubby, my love nine months ago and knitting has saved me from going crazy! I truly feel for you honey. Keep knitting and Tracy and Jodie are such good distance sisters for many of us who follow them. ❤️♥️
This is true for me too. I lost my soulmate 3 years ago the 8th of February. This podcast is one of the first I found and have enjoyed each one. Jodi and Tracy are wonderful women! I love them.
Can I say ditto! My husband of 30 year passed in a fatal car accident 2 days before this Thanksgiving with our holiday groceries in the back seat of my car on his way to pick me up from work. I watch this channel non stop because sleep still eludes me. I waited not knowing & he never showed up. My supportive son, friends, work colleague's plus yarn, hooks & needles help keep me functional. It's very but hard but yarn therapy is an amazing blessing.
I have watched you for all of it. My husband got sick with cancer when you started. You made me smile he passed away November 12th 2017 you kept me going every month. I love you guys kisses and hugs wow 4 yrs congrats
I read Joji's post and I cried, then I watched you both - your fourth year and all you've brought me as a disabled, wheelchair and mostly bed bound knitter. and Then seeing your reaction to the lady in the wheelchair on pompom... I'm crying again. Tracie! You were the first person i met at my first yarn festival - EYF 2018. And you were SO SO SO lovely and gracious and dignified. You both represent all I love about our community. I appreciate you not holding back from talking about what our community has gone through and still is going through. But my goodness - the pompom cover. It really does give hope, right? Love and congrats to you both, you wonderful ones! XXX
You know the saying I think you ladies epitomize: "be the change you want to see". You say you love being part of this community, but you have done so much to make it a community that we all feel a part of and enjoy so much. . I adore you both and look forward to many more years of your podcast.
Happy anniversary! After I started watching you guys, my stash grew by leaps and bounds. And piles of cash gone. Seriously, I have no self control when it comes to patterns and yarns you guys show me. Keep up the good work!
I just have to say you two are AMAZING!!!!! I was taught how to crochet when I was 8 yrs old. I have dabbled over the yrs with it, but was a little intimidated by knitting, soooooo just recently I decided to learn how to knit. There are so many cute things to knit. I found your Birthday video to be so much fun and I love the passion you bring and share. I’m an Artist, but venturing out of my usual comfort zone of realism , I find that all I want to do is knit and crochet. Yarn is so beautiful! I never knew wool could be so soft. Keep up the great work. I’ll be looking for more of your videos, Ravalry, and Etsy. Sometimes I see a yarn and I just gotta have it! And yes I too have multiple projects going at the same time. I love it. Love you both and thank you! Big hugs 🤗💖
Yesssss Jodi and Tracy, Latinas ruled on the super bowl! Thank you for mentioning us, I'm a Latina from Uruguay. So proud of JLo and Shakira. And Happy Birthday girls,!
LOVE the length of your podcasts! I just love being able to settle in and knit and laugh and drool over all the things. Happy Podiversary!! Thank you so so SO much for 4 years of awesomeness! 🧡
Happy Birthday! I savour each podcast. I don’t mind the length at all. Sometimes I watch it all in one sitting, sometimes I watch it over a few days. I love every minute of it. You two are so inspiring, please don’t change a thing. I love how you keep it real.
Happy Birthday! Thank you for such an amazing journey! Looking forward to so many more years together! You have bought so much joy to my life! Love you both so much!
Lynn here from Victoria, BC, we met at Galiano in 2018. Happy 4th birthday to you! I’ve watched you from the beginning and you’re still as natural as you were then, and fun to watch. I enjoy seeing all of your makes, they’re really lovely. Thank you for all the work you put into providing us with entertainment and enabling us to buy more yarn!
Congrat's on Birthday #4, I am so happy for you both. Tracy that red is amazing on you and Jody I love the kind of denim washed looking dark gray color (on my tablet screen 😉). You two are Hilarious, I don't even knit but I still love to watch you both. I am learning a lot about different types of yarn that I normally don't use. Who knows some day I may start to learn to knit. 😵😉. I have been a crocheter since I was 12yrs old, (I am Much older now 57yrs just turned on the 12th shhhhh) but I figure never to old to learn, right !! I love Stephanie's work truly amazing work. That is the great thing about knitting/crocheting you can be disabled and still do fantastic work. So many people are waking up in 2020, it is so fantastic to see that positive vibe throughout the world. It can be a challenge to keep that vibe higher but it does actually help Everyone in the long run. We are truly All connected. Much love & Many Blessing to All. 💓💓
Happy 4th Birthday to you both Tracie & Jodi. It has been a wonderful journey having watched from the beginning, and brought so much knitting and fibre joy, and all the extra you bring to the table. Wishing you all the best and many more years to come of watching more of the GG's.
Happy Birthday Girls!!! Without you I wouldn’t be knitting. You keep me so inspired!! I used to just knit socks, now I can do color work. Love ❤️ you two ladies and I look forward to seeing you whenever you podcast.
Happy Podiversary!! No matter how long your episodes are, they are never long enough. Thanks for the laughs, the enabling, the absolute joy you bring to us.
You guys are so fabulous and REAL, don't every change! Happy, Happy birthday and many more. Just so you know you are such enablers; I just want every yarn and every pattern you mention. I already knew Joji a little BUT you really turned me on to her Journal's and more of her patterns. BTW I just bought yarn from Makenzie; her/ they're ideas are so amazing; the creativity and ambition behind this yarn is simply off the charts!!
Love, love seeing that the podcast is up! Always full of fun and inspiration! I may have to join Tracie in knitting a Paloma. I don’t mind the length as I usually watch it in two or three sections!
Hi Girls, I have been trying to finish this podcast for three days, life! I have finished my first knit hat, learned at age 71. My new love. Thanks for the inspiration you provide for me, and for talking about the ease of patterns. The bags are beautiful.
Sunday 🥴. I finally got to watch, but know I have to go back.....I was to tired 😴 to be alert enough to catch it all! I didn’t get my snow day 😢. And I had my grandson Friday night, a card making group all day Saturday, and then grandson back for Saturday night and most of Sunday. I love the precious little guy, he is eight, but I must admit to needing more rest as I age 🤣. Jodi and Tracie, you could be my daughters. Happy Anniversary, 💛😍🥰 every podcast. You are fun, knowledgeable, friendly, caring, sharing, honest, open, and real. I always feel like my friends have stopped by to visit when I see you have a new podcast. And never think they are too long! I can take long visits with with my besties. So many great patterns, yarn, bags, books, etc. I wish I could knit faster, and had more disposable income 😬, like lots of people. I am really on a book diet, but have Melanie’s first book, and a couple Pom Pom books, but may have to check them out. I’ll never get to knit everything I have yarn and books for right now! Sorry for rambling, you just make me feel welcome! Where are your folks in AZ? I have a friend I’m going to visit in Chandler, I know she talks about Canadians that live in their condo complex. It would be almost like meeting you if I would meet them 😂
Wow 4 years! Congratulations to you both ❤️ You ladies were one of my first podcasts I found when I first started knitting and I have been thoroughly sucked in and enabled by you and this fantastic knitting community that I’ve discovered here on RUclips ! The growth you’ve had in your projects and designs has been so wonderful to be a part of. 🎂
Happy Birthday Day Ladies! Can I just say out of all the podcast out there on knitting and yarns Yours is by far my absolute favorite!!!!!! How excited you all get about the yarns, colors and patterns, it’s just contagious!!!!! Thank you for not going on and on about your personal life’s and sticking to the subject matter ❤️
Traci, you were asking about suggestions for things to have in your shop. What about GG coffee mugs? I llove a big coffee mug with knitting sayings, and it would be super fun to have GG ones. xoxo
I finally told myself I can’t stop watching you guys, so I subscribed! So I watch you in two, sometimes three parts, I get through the two hours and nobody is torturing me! Love you!
Your girls are just the best! Thanks for all the love in this week's podcast - you made my day! Jodi - your sweater is looking amazing! and Tracie - you can totally knit a Luminosity sweater by Knit City Montreal, can't wait to see you wearing it! xoxox
Thank you ladies so much for helping me to get so much knitting done! I absolutely love your podcast! And I adore the book bag! I’m saving my $ to order one, I already have a tattoo of books and need a book project bag too!
Honestly Tracie, I love the neckline of your cardigan. I totally know what you mean about “slouchy” cardigans, and sometimes round necklines on less structured cardigans can be hard to style (I typically prefer v-neck ones for this reason), but you’re nailing it here. It looks really great. When I saw it on your Instagram, I went right away and added it to my faves. 👏👏
Happy Birthday, ladies! Just a FYI, there in a free app called Knit Companion that will make keeping count of variable increases a breeze. It also has a highlighter to keep track of knitting rows. It’s a “game changer” Also, love both your Cardi sweaters.
Happy birthday!!! Tracy’s idea of knitting the sleeves before the body was genius!! Then I can maybe make my sweaters a little longer (I love tunic length) because I know I have enough left. Brilliant!
I watched your first post and I remember how scattered you were. Talking into air and wondering if anyone was listening. I was new to watching also. I havebeenwith you ever since. Now you are all so secure in what you do.Keep it up!,
Glad to hear a piece of advice about measuring your needles before beginning your knitting. I just had a pair of circular needles missed mark and put into the wrong package. Used my little tool and found out they were a size larger then marked. Glad I caught it at the beginning of my project.
Congrats on your 4th birthday! I can't believe how fast it has flown by! Love your finishes. So much info to digest thstv can't comment on it all. Showing your purchases and WIPs just inspire me to keep knitting and learn new things. I am fairly new to knitting, and I'm very excited to see all the bags and gadgets. Happy knitting!
Watching since day one. Congrats to you both. Love you as much now, as in the beginning. You make me laugh and cry and inspire me to knit even when I get tired of knitting. Keep it up. You are the best thing out there. Okay guys, the photo of Jelly Bean and Dana made me smile so much! So adorable! Traci you need to knit all the sweaters. I want to see the beige one all done, it looks gorgeous and you only have the neck done! Thank you guys, for all the heads up on all those patterns. I'm heading to Ravelry now to look at them all. Take care of each other and see you next time.

I love your knitting tips, not that I knit but my mother was a wonderful knitter, watching you brings back memories of my mum 😊 thanks for coming back into my life here in Australia, you bring a smile to my day love your sense of humour xxx
I’ve only been watching a few weeks, but as a birthday celebration I’m going to go to episode 1 and start from the beginning! I’ll be watching you for as long as you are on!
I joined the row one carnival of color club and I LOVE it! Thanks for the tip! Used a bunch in my marled magic shawl - agree they are great for marling.
Happy Birthday ! Your podcast has brought me so many laughs and great info on patterns and yarn, Thank you!
I love that you’re introducing new patterns! Thank you.
Happy Birthday 🎂 to you Ladies! I’m in Kentucky closet to Lexington. Today’s the 7th, we had a surprise snow storm last night. We got 4”s of snow and it’s a big mess. The roads were awful. I thought I’d send you guys a big laugh 😂.
🎉Happy Birthday!🎉. Can’t believe it’s been 4 years! You two were my very first podcast that I ever watched, and opened up a whole can of worms for me!!! You have introduced so many podcasts, indie dyers, yarn companies and designers into my world, and I thank you for that.❤️. I enjoy our visits so much and look forward to the next four+ years❤️🇨🇦
Happy Birthday Grocery Girls!! Love you both...keep being yourselves ❤️
Almost fell out of bed when Tracy commented on her LEGO helmet hair. 😂
Thank you for all the positivity! Love you guys ❤️
Love. Love. Love. Your Paloma sweater. Gorgeous!
Happy pod-a-versary! I love you guys so much! You remind me so much of me and my sister, who passed a few years ago. Thanks for the joy you bring. By the way, I grew up in the town where that poor woman was mauled by the chimp and still live close by! Everyone still thinks they want a wild animal though! Anyway, here’s to many more years!
I just love watching you guys. You are so positive and truly inspirational. Your passion for fiber arts is awesome💕👏🧦🧶🧣
Always a joy to be with you for a podcast. A wonderful way to spend a stormy Friday evening in N.S.....it is blowing like the merry tales of somebody or other out.
So funny that the last time you showed the Paloma, I went to my stash and cast it on. And that happens all the time, maybe I'm the third Grocery Girls. Congratz and greetings from the Netherlands

Happy Birthday!!! I just recently found your podcast and I’m so glad I did. You guys are funny, entertaining, informative and I love every minute of your podcast. I’m even trying to go back and see all that I’ve missed. Jodi I’ve just placed a bag order so that I can replace the ugly shopping bags I’ve been using for wips. Thank you for the inspiration to try new yarns and patterns. Love you guys and I hope you make to Rhinebeck NY in 2020 so that I can hopefully meet you!

Love Tanis Fiber Art Yarn. Made the seaboard sweater with her yarn - it was fabulous!
The very first shawl I knit was a, Melanie Berg shawl and that was years ago. My mother still wears it and loves it. I wash it for her because she is scared to hurt it, haha. But yes her shawls are very recognizable and a dream to knit. Love her!
Congratulations. I have seen them all and love watching you.
Great podcast! Had fun spending the evening and knitting with you guys!
Congratulations on 4 years. I’m always so happy when I see a new video popup
Happy Birthday ladies!! Love catching up with you every time :). Congrats on 4 years and hopefully many more!!
