i have randy rhoads number rr0048 first year and month also a real 86 flying v i hear there is less than 30 made true san dimas jacksins are the vintage of the future
Awesome. I have had a few rare soloists over the years. Kept a couple very rare ones that's sound amazing. In fact I have that same model and same color pearl white 86 soloist with Kahler. Love my Jackson's. And you are saying "Kahler" different than we say it here in the states.
I have no idea how it is supposed to be said....most people here say KAY-LER or KAH-LER. Would love someone from the company to please tell me how to friggin say it right lol
Yes sir, I remember them not only in their catalogues but also at the Carvin Outlet in Hollywood. Same place I got to witness Jason Becker and Marty Friedman give a seminar. Good times and we did it without cell phones.
It's pronounced 'Kay-ler' not 'Cal-er'. There's a handful of videos on YT where Gary Kahler talks about setting up and maintaining his trems. He introduces himself as Gary 'Kay-Ler'. lol
Those uncovered Jackson pickups with the black screws and slugs are the original J-50, J-80, J-80C (ceramic magnet), J-90, and J-90C pickups. They only used these for a short period in '86... by the end of '86 they switched to the EMG looking Jackson pickups with the oversized cover and rings. Those were absolute junk. If you remove the plastic cover from one of these, you'll find the pickup has slugs on both coils instead of the usual screw/slug arrangement. The earlier uncovered pickups aren't terrible... but they're not Seymour Duncan's either.
Dude that 80s red plaid idk what it's called like that video computer glitch or vortex looking shit like you in the firewall. Idk you know it's that iconic 80s video shit that explorer is badass
I'm pretty sure those aren't from 1996.. probably from 1986..due to the kahler trend..Jackson started using Floyd's and Jackson trems after 1986..Jackson moved to Ontario in 86
In good company with Dave Mustaine, Kerry King, Jeff Hanneman ( R.I.P.) Glenn Tipton's and K.K. Downing. When Marty Friedman used tremolos , Kahler was his choice. Enough said.
I have a custom KNE body with an 80’s Charvel neck also. Mitch at KNE is fantastic!!
Jacksons are the Ferrari of guitars in my opinion. Sleek, exotic, and fast. Most are expensive but a great deal can be made if you shop around.
Love the Kahler trems
When you said "Dave Mustaine signature" I freaked out only for the video to end haha. Nice video and guitar collection though lol
Haha there is another video with that guitar here on the channel!
Amazing guitars! Love my Jacksons and Charvels!
Cool. I have Jackson usa Vinnie Vincent double V guitar owned by Vinnie
Very cool. What is the story behind how you got your guitar?
I gave a soloist with the white binding. So cool.. god I l8ve Jacksons
I love the 22 fret Jackson's with the full scalloped necks
🎃🎃🎃Amazing collection👍👍👍
Nice share
Cool stuff

You own one and can't spell "Jackson" correctly? Sell it and take some remedial english courses.
I'm in love!!!! My god

I've heard Kay-ler 99% of the time. I believe they also make Golf equipment too. Lol. Golf.
Kähler is pronounced Kay-ler . Kahl means bald in deutsche so it is (the bald one).
carvin had basses with tremolo's back in the 80's
I didn't know that! Have to google this immediately, thanks for the heads up! -Keith

I actually saw a double neck Carvin. It was a six string guitar and bass. Both had Kahler tremolos.
Legendary collection
Totally agree dude! Check out Rob Logan on Facebook and his FB Group: Jackson Made in U.S.A.

God, that Exp is something special.
Ah I rather a floyd but I've never even used a khaler lol

I didn't know that Kahler were still put on in 88...
You said super rare but I didn’t see a Jackson Nagel up there 😉. Just joking - magnificent guitars!
The proper pronunciation is kahler rimes with trailer.
Kay-ler
satriani can do a dive bomb with that bass
True Jackson’s
Yeah man!
I'm pretty sure those aren't from 1996.. probably from 1986..due to the kahler trend..Jackson started using Floyd's and Jackson trems after 1986..Jackson moved to Ontario in 86
KV1 had a Kahler all through the 90s
Who needs a girlfriend when you have this many Jacksons in your bedroom 😊
This dude loves Khalers

A bass with tremolo?
I know how sick is that!! I've never seen one before in my life! Rob Logan is the king of Kahler tremolos guitar or bass -Keith
Yeah man ever heard of Les claypool if not look him up he I believe started the whole whammy on bass thing back in the 80s
You audio is touch and go, in and out micing issues
It's a phone
Did you actually say "forget Mike Learn" ??
Mike's work blows away the paint on that bass, lol
Oh I'm just joking around. Mike is the man!
@@EssexRecordingStudios , I know 🙂
Fucking hate Kahler's ! Worst bridge ever designed.
(And it's pronounced; KAY LER).
They're super back in style now. What do you think of the Evertune Bridge?
@@EssexRecordingStudios I see Dean now offers the Kahler 🤮
I guess the Evertune is nifty.
Jeff Hanneman of Slayer was a Kahler fan.
