I am from Ukraine.
Earlier today my guitar teacher showed me his Custom Shop Jackson made by Mike Shannon, and a photo of Mike holding this exact guitar. He doesn't know how it got to Ukraine, but he knows it's the only one in the country.

Double locking, Captain. Stable as hell. Get the strings stretched, lock it down. Good to go. Same reason Ibanez makes the Fixed edge double locking (non-tremolo) bridge.

Ryan Miller I actually was wondering why myself companies would do that.
His Ibanez sig. was a locker too, and those are a proper straight pull. Locking nut > just about any open nut (graphite, rollers, lubed). If you've got good strings, you get them stretched out, they generally stay in tune indefinitely so long as a weather change doesn't knock the neck out of whack. Maybe a fine tune adjustment here or there. You get more real estate out of your bends too, because there's nothing to slack out on the tuning machine or any slipping over the nut.
Almost no one comments on the guitar, but are they ever star struck.

Mick has said about his ibanez with the same bridge that he likes the mass of the that bridge with the brass trem block in the back to add sustain, and has it bolted down to act as a hard tail and transfer some more vibration from the strings to the body.

Mick's Ibanez guitars had EdgeFX bridges, which is basically what this is trying to replicate. The tuning stability of having a locking bridge and locking nut, without all the other finicky BS.

Mick probably uses the fine tuners on the fixed Floyd-Rose because he uses D’Addario strings. Those things are a bitch to keep in tune, as good as they sound.
Disappointed that Jackson aren't releasing a new king v model in the x range or js.
They only did new colours for most the js range i like the neon orange js32 dka
they have a js series king v in an army drab color, i want an x series king v so bad lol.
In case they see this, I have to say it.. Thank you Jackson and Mark Morton for designing the best guitar I've ever owned! \m/

I read an interview somewhere online where he said his favorite guitar ever was always a Custom shop King-V, but he didn't get a n endorsement with Jackson at the beginning of his career, so he went to B.C. Rich and then changed to Ibanez when B.C. Rich's Quality went down the toilet.

yeah It really was a shame when B.C. Rich went down the drain, I hoped the quality would get better when they changed ownership last year, haven't tried one so far...

I don't get the reasoning to have a Floyd rose locked in position. That's counter productive. Why have a Floyd then?

Jerrod Rushford I don't see the need for that but to each his own. If your guitar goes out of tune that much then it's time for a serious readjustment. Maybe it's time he got a new guitar tech.
The tuning stability of a blocked and locked Floyd is hard to beat, and they're very comfortable (IMO at least).

This video makes Jackson look like they have no clue why they have Thompson as an artist. All they've done is rip off his Ibanez models and can't even explain why it's designed as is.
All it's showing is he switched because of politics rather than any real issue with the instrument.
Before I get trolled I have experience with both Ibanez Prestige and the USA Soloist.

I've always been a fan of Ibanez due to their no frill approach to guitars. There is a law of diminishing returns with instruments and I find ibanez price themselves fairly. The prestige mode
I had was awesome.
With Jackson I find them of high quality but they fall victim to USA stamp means double price issues. I have good friends who would rather die than give up theor soloist but they've always been very rigid in innovation until recently.
From what I've seen ibanez tend to give artist more customisation freedom while keeping costs lower.
The funny thing is now I've got. Outlying ESPs so complaining about price seems moot hHaha
