Welcome to Jackson's Nightmare Machine - the series where we tell the tales of the custom creations that come out of the Jackson Custom Shop. We are starting off with Brandon Ellis' 27 fret Gold Crackle finished Kelly, a regal beast with a monstrous tone masterbuilt by Joe Williams.

Ok, that is one of the most badass guitars I've ever seen.

Long time without a real "custom" guitar,other musicians just order a soloist,dinky,monarch with changes in the color and the picks,this new model really feels like a master piece.
From the Verminous Green Crackle to the Surf Green 27 fret Crackle to this, amazing. Didn't think that last one could be topped but this is a guitar fit for a King.

That guitar is so insanely dope wish we could get a toned down affordable version in the pro series to go along with the green crackle which im about to purchase here soon.
I like what Brandon says about the guitar always being out there, he just had to find it.
Reminds me of Michaelangelo saying of his sculptures that the statue is already in the granite, it just has to be released!

Love the last fret in an angle like my custom shop Phil Collen archtop super sparkle silver is my color reverse headstock zig-zag inlays. I have been playing Jacksons for over 33 years best built American guitars ever. Your neck is the sickest I have seen on a Jackson very kool.

something about the slant at the high end of the fretboard works SO well with the shape of the kelly. Jackson, we the people need an mij standard gloss black kelly.
Please make this your next sig run!! Obviously make certain things more affordable, but god what I’d give for a 27 fret Ellis Kelly with a neck pickup!!!

Brandon absolutely destroyed with this gold beauty at Anaheim last night. The gold crackle and logo pop like crazy on stage and sounded incredible through the new EVH amps/cabs. The world needs more 27 fret crackle Kellys!

I mean Jackson has designed some incredible guitars through the years but you just may be right! This thing is unreal. Might be the best looking guitar of 2023
@ShaneStoneOfficial it's the most perfectly designed guitar I've seen from pretty much anywhere. Everything about it is made to make it as efficient as possible. The next closest I can think of are the new black and white Ibanez RGA prestige models with the 27 frets on the high end, but still I don't think they even hold a candle to this.

That's probably the most beautiful Jackson guitar I have ever seen. Absolutely stunning. The maple fretboard was the right call!
I only wish the frets above the 12th had the sharkfin flipped so it echoes the patern established on the 12th fret with 2 sharkfins rotated 180 degrees from each other but it's a minor nitpick. One of the sickest guitars ever

For all you paupers out there the Jackson JS22-7 is an awesome entrance level 7string. 26-1/2 inch scale length and can easily be customized.

Yea this crackle paint design I thought looked kinda lame like a dried burned out guitar that had been left in the oven for too long or outside in extreme heat😁lol like the red or purple one just like itnthat had been put out for sale but this gold one with gold hardware seems to work awesome though"💛🖤" it just looks great like eye candy popping out making you wanna play it 👍🏻 great job I totally get it now with this color, the gold and black did it guys👌🏻💣🤘🏻
