I'm having so much fun working this project. I'm still on the Plowing Seed Square. Once I'm done with that one, I'll jump right into this one. Eventually I'll catch up.
I learned this stitch as the camel stitch! It’s lovely worked as a two-row break between stripes in throws
Thank You so much for this post. I was looking for something a little more challenging but not so much so that it was frustrating. This stitch is PERFECT and SO PRETTY!!! I will say its a lot easier if you use a solid color. I tried it with a variegated yarn and it was very difficult to see the stitches.
Very nice. I think this stitch would look really nice for a top, sweater or wearable. Now I just need to decide on all my blanket colors. 😊

Ok I have a silly question… I’m working on the layered cake square. How many rows should there be? How do I count how many rows I have?
Personally I don't like working in the third loop. Good thing is its only one square. I loved the first stitch. Loved the look of the second one hated doing it. I think it would be a lot easier in a 4 weight yarn. I know waffel stitch is in there. I really don't like that stitch. I'd pick waffel over basket weave though. I'm sure there will be a lot of stitches I will use again for something else like the first one. That's the great thing about these stitch samplers. Some stitches you will love some you'll hate. Something for everyone. Again, it's only one square. I can do that for a stitch I dont like.
Honestly, let this Sampler Blanket be YOUR blanket! If there are stitches you know you don't like or are not enjoying then feel free to swap in a repeat square using the new color of yarn! It's ok to not like a stitch! The goal is to test new things and see how it will make us grow. I would rather you have fun than push through something you are not enjoying. 😊❤️🧶
