I just had to say that though this is an easy repeat pattern & works up quickly, it’s a really cute pattern. I’m using bulky, weight 5 yarn that is variegated & it’s turning out adorably! Thank you for being an excellent teacher! I’ve begun a deep dive through all of your tutorials!! Please don’t ever stop making them…. They are so appreciated!!!
You have such great tutorials. I am so inspired to make everything even if I just donate the pieces. I used to crochet when I was a teen. My mom was great at teaching us fun things. I actually made a beautiful sweater that in forever proud of. Thank you for igniting the pain again 😊
Thank You for a great tutorial on how to make this stitch. I'm making my granddaughter a Queen-size blanket for her bed and with this stitch I now know I'll be able to give her her blanket for Christmas this year. Thanks again, God Bless you and your family!!
I've always loved the V Stitch, so I'm sure I'll adore this Cluster V. Bitter cold this winter so far, and need to make tons of scarves! Thanks for a great video Robin!! Love from the US!
Thank you so much for this great tutorial!! I made a baby blanket last week for a little girl. I’m starting on my second one today for a little boy. The blanket worked up so beautiful!! Such a fast easy and fun stitch!! 😊💚😊💚
The V-Stitch is one of my very favorites.. So easy...and so attractive,, Just want to add that your nails are lovely. The color and shape are really nice.
Thank you so much for this great tutorial!! I can use the stitch to make one baby blanket last week. Starting on another one today. I absolutely love this stitch!! It works up so fast and easy. 😊💚😊💚
Hi Robin. I love your tutorials! You explain everything so well. Very easy to follow. I started a pink one after watching the tutorial and it’s Turing out so beautiful. I’m a lifetime follower!
Coming back to this lovely pattern! Robin, I am hopeful that you and your daughter are feeling much, much better! I should try the Chunky Monkey yarn. Watching you work with it is very enjoyable.
Oo I love this stitch and the blanket looks gorgeous Robin , all those lovely colours I will definitely be using up some of my stash to make one of these looks great to do while watching tv thank you so much for your beautiful pattern 😊Amanda xx💕
Always creating good looking and effective immediately as I see it I know it will be an excellent Christmas gift.Thank you for your time and teaching experience. I am sincerely please finding out A GREAT TEACHER!!!! MAY THE ANGEL'S KEEP YOU ALWAYS,
Hi why did it take me so long to find you love your tutorials love double v stitch you go nice and slow and this novice can keep up thank you kind regards Susan 🥰🥰💗💗👍👍👍⚘⚘
Thank you so so much for this stitch tutorial. I've had over 1600 yards of variegated yarn and have been surching and praying for a stitch repetitive pattern that would go great and stand out from the variegation. Bless you for this pattern. I love your tutorials but I can't afford to buy enough yarn to keep up with you. Lol..😉
If you decide to change colors every one or two rows, using only 2 colors, can you carry the unused color up the side? I realize this would entail making a border, but I like borders on my blankets anyway? Thanks. I love your videos and have gathered quite a list of new stitches to try. Stay safe and healthy!
Well, my goodness, why haven't I worked this pretty little stitch. I make baby blankets to donate and love patterns/stitches that work up quick. Can't get any easier than this. Definantely will go into my roation.
I’m loving this stitch! Thank you for sharing and explaining it so well!! I do have a question...do you have a suggested border that would work with this? Or do you think it needs one?
Thank you for the great tutorial. I've worked this up with 5 bulky weight yarn. Fast and beautiful. Now I would like to put a border on my blanket. Any suggestions? If I simply single crochet, how my stitches per row along the edges of blanket?
Beautiful! One question, to get a straight edge for last row, would i just singl crochet in each stitch and do one stitch for the chain 2 of the v's? Thank you!
I love this pattern, so I started one and I have been changing colors every three rows. What I was wondering is what is a good border color whenever you use all different colors? I am not finished with my blanket yet but I just wanted someone elses opinion.
Hi Robin, I finally learned to crochet about 6 months ago through your videos, so thank you very much. I am wanting now to make a cocoon style cardi, you know the kind made from a rectangle or square, would this pattern work, could I add a collar easily to it. If not what would you suggest, not granny cluster, bored of that now 😄
Hi Robin ! I’m actually making this blanket now, love this pattern ❤️ mine’s super colorful and a great summer blanket...I was wanting to make a border do ya have any suggestions 🤓
The pattern multiple is 3 (super simple one to remember which is probably why it's one of my favourite stitches! No thinking required 😂) x so just chain 3 for as wide as you want your project to be! 👍
Hi Robin, I’ve just finished my blanket and love it! I’d like to do a camel stitch border, would I start with one single crochet in each chain along the edge? TIA
You can do that yes! You might need to do a little trial and error as to the exact placement, ideally you want to aim for the raw sides edges to lie flat with your single crochets evenly placed down the sides - if it starts to ruffle, to have too many and if it's pulling inwards in a U shape, you don't have enough :)
Hi Robin, I love this blanket and would really like to make it. I’m new to crochet so only have dk yarn, would the blanket work in that weight of yarn? Thanks ever so much.
Yes absolutely! All you'd need to do is knot the tails together with a double knot at the point where you changed colour - then you can leave them as a simple fringe, add tassels to bulk the fringe out if you wanted or even twist the tails together to make a more fancy fringing!
I m making a shawl with this pattern...I want to add some other colour in d beginning but I getting trouble. If i continue with d pattern then clusters will b in opposite directions. I m thinking to making that pattern separately n join. Is there any way to join with this pattern? Plz help me
Hiya Ricki! It all depends on how big you want the blanket to be really! I tend to keep chaining until it is the width I want it and eyeball it - no set amount as such :)
Thank you robin .. now I can do something other than granny squares... the only problem I'm having is that I'm finding my work is starting to curve inwards and not straight...
Ah ok, so that sounds like a tension issue (it is very common so don't worry!) I think your starting chain is a little too tight, or, you are relaxing as you crochet along. The easiest fix for that is to do the starting chain in a hook size bigger than you are going to use for the work itself (so, if you are using a 4mm for the blanket, use a 5mm for the starting chain)
Great idea for a weekend or a rainy & cold day! 💜
It's been rainy and cold all week here! 😅
@@HookedbyRobin Same here and I am thinking scrap busting project will be on the hook soon! 🧶
Oh, how I would love a rainy, cold day! 🥵

Could you use 1 chain between the dc clusters instead of 2 to make it a more compact less holey blanket? x

Brilliant

The pattern multiple is 3 (super simple one to remember which is probably why it's one of my favourite stitches! No thinking required 😂) x so just chain 3 for as wide as you want your project to be! 👍
Great for using up the ends of your skeins. What sort of border would you do for this project? Thank you for a great tutorial 🐨🇦🇺
All the ones I've made, I haven't put a border on as the edges are nice and straight 👍 (plus I am lazy haha!)
Thank you
I would like to see a cozy cluster ripple blanket please
I'll add it to my list! 👍

Hi I really love this and picked it up really quickly so what border would you do?
I personally leave most of my blankets borderless - you could put anything you like on really! Perhaps something simple like rounds of sc or hdc? x
Hi Robin, I love this blanket and would really like to make it. I’m new to crochet so only have dk yarn, would the blanket work in that weight of yarn? Thanks ever so much.
Yes absolutely!
Thank you very much for your help, I appreciate it xxxx
Question...exactly where, in the turning chain, do we change color?
For the ends, would it be possible to leave a nice long tail and create fringe instead of weaving them all in? How would I go about that? Thank you!
Yes absolutely! All you'd need to do is knot the tails together with a double knot at the point where you changed colour - then you can leave them as a simple fringe, add tassels to bulk the fringe out if you wanted or even twist the tails together to make a more fancy fringing!

How many chains in total for a baby blanket? Thank you! Ricki💚🧡❤️💙💛💗😘
Hiya Ricki! It all depends on how big you want the blanket to be really! I tend to keep chaining until it is the width I want it and eyeball it - no set amount as such :)

Thank you Ruthie and thank you for also subscribing! 💕
Is this as fast as the regular v stitch
Would this look alright in ombre colors ?
Yes absolutely! EVERYTHING looks lovely with ombre colours!
do you have a written pattern?

Thank you robin .. now I can do something other than granny squares... the only problem I'm having is that I'm finding my work is starting to curve inwards and not straight...

How do I share a photo on here?
Are you on social media at all? You can share a photo to my facebook page :-)
Maybe a "strange" question, but is this pattern a "yarn eater" ?
Are you using English crochet stitches or American?
American 👍
I'm being picky, but why can't you say "...chain from THE hook..." rather than "...chain from hook,..?" Sorry, but I just find that nerve wracking.
I didn't even realise I said it that way until literally just now reading your comment! 😅
Thank you 😊
You’re welcome Rae!🥰
Lovely!
Thank you Gayle!😃
