I'm so glad I stumbled on this video!!! I've been making "lapghans" for nursing home residents that our church visits. I've made 17 since Thanksgiving using your granny square video on some and the V stitch video on the others. This combines both!!! Yay!!!! Thank you!!!
@@susangoldman8315 I actually make 2 sizes. The one I make the most I start with 111 chains. That's using the original V stitch pattern. I work approximately 56 - 60 rows. Hope this helps!!!
Susan Goldman, depending on yarn and hook size, 32" across x 31" tall. None of them are the same size as I make up color patterns as I go and how much yarn I need to use up.

I've just started a project for a throw blanket for the back of my couch in this pattern and I love it. It's easy to do, once you've done a few rows, it looks pretty, and the blanket is growing quickly, too! Love the stacked stitch at the beginning of your rows. I don't remember which of your tutorials I was making the first time I saw you do it and my mind was blown. Now, no matter the pattern, if it calls for a chain 2 or 3 for a double crochet height on turning, I always use this technique! Love this stitch combo!
