    I thoroughly enjoyed this stitch, Robin. I really, really love the stacked double crochet stitch for a straight edge.
    I will be showing it to my daughter because I don't crochet much anymore because of arthritis.

    I would just like to say that in a sea of crochet videos, yours stand out. I love how clear and concise you are, and that you actually take the time to show the process slowly and often enough to make sure that your audience understands you. Its hard to learn crochet without someone to physically show you how (or at least for people like me who are kinesthetic learners), but your videos are the reason I can crochet at all. Thank you so much for teaching me how to crochet, and in such a way that i am able to teach my daughter ♡♡

    I tried other channels to learn to crochet and failed. Robin…..you are the best! I was crocheting in no time.     I'm so glad I stumbled on this video!!! I've been making "lapghans" for nursing home residents that our church visits. I've made 17 since Thanksgiving using your granny square video on some and the V stitch video on the others. This combines both!!! Yay!!!! Thank you!!!

      @@susangoldman8315 I actually make 2 sizes. The one I make the most I start with 111 chains. That's using the original V stitch pattern. I work approximately 56 - 60 rows. Hope this helps!!!

      Susan Goldman, depending on yarn and hook size, 32" across x 31" tall. None of them are the same size as I make up color patterns as I go and how much yarn I need to use up.

    I've just started a project for a throw blanket for the back of my couch in this pattern and I love it. It's easy to do, once you've done a few rows, it looks pretty, and the blanket is growing quickly, too! Your videos have inspired me to take up a crochet hook again after many years and I'm just enjoying myself so much. Thank you for your great videos!

      @@HookedbyRobin Hey Robin….I made this blanket as a baby blanket in pink & white. I also added a white ruffle border all the way around it and it was beautiful!! The girl I gave it to for her baby absolutely loves it.

    Love the stacked stitch at the beginning of your rows. I don't remember which of your tutorials I was making the first time I saw you do it and my mind was blown. Now, no matter the pattern, if it calls for a chain 2 or 3 for a double crochet height on turning, I always use this technique! Love this stitch combo!
