    Hi Tiffany I love this stitch is so easy one more in my list to do. Tiffany I have a question do you have a blanket patter where you can add letters. You see my son is a fan of the yankee and I’m making a blanket with the Yankees colors but I want to put in the middle of the blanket their symbol NY with the Y in top of the N please let me know thank you have a great day

    • @CrochetWithTiffany
      @CrochetWithTiffany  2 года назад +1

      Hi Maritza! What a FUN idea!!! Adding letters to the blanket to help personalize it! If I were you I would grab some grid paper. Draw the blanket on the paper and then mark off or color in the squares to make the letters you want. Keep in mind that you cannot use loops or rounded letters, you will have to make them pixelated and boxy. We are going to pretend that each square is a stitch space. OR whatever increment of stitches you need it to be. Now follow the color chart you just created, switching colors where you need to, to create the letters within the blanket. What you are doing with this color change is known as either Intarsia or Stranding. I actually have a video on how to do this if you would like a little more reference. I hope this helps!

      @@CrochetWithTiffany oh boy I have never done this but is the idea I have I want to make a queen size cover now doing the streaming is that takes more yarn and can you do this in any type of stitch on your tutorial you use single crochet, I was thinking making the letters like about 3” the leg post do you think is big enough for that dice of blanket I was also thinking of finish the blanket and than crochet over the letters like embroidery in to it. I don’t know what do you think the blanket would be like between 200 & 250 chain
