Thank you very much! Yes, this would make a beautiful scarf. I want to make one in baby or sport weight yarn. Thank you for checking out this stitch tutorial too! ❤️
Your tutorial was really easy to follow. Thank you. I’m making a blanket for my 2 year old granddaughter, she likes to put her fingers through the loops. I made a granny square blanket last year, without the multiple squares but she has grown since then. So I decided to make a different stitch for a blanket. Thank you again for your tutorial.
This is my very first time using double crochet on a project - I'm really pleased with the overall project so far as a beginning one, it's a lace-up tube top with a solid bust area (basically just one big wide single crochet rectangle) and an underbust area made up of this lace. The two best parts of this project are that it laces up, so it isn't fussy with sizing, and that the first couple rows actually benefit from being a little too tight (a common mistake when starting crochet, as I discovered for myself), since those rows are the very top of the shirt and benefit from being tighter than the rest of the bust.
Hi Jonna I know it this is an older video I must have missed it.. Lovely stitch as always.. Thanks so much. It will. Make gorgeous. Wraps blankets scarves. Love your channel. I have made so many of your tutorials.. 💛💛💛
I love this! The top I crocheted is a bit too narrow, but I can't bring myself to re-do it, so I plan to add this lace panel to it for a decorative look, lol.
Like this pattern. Made a headband with it. Started off with a chain less HDC but to finish end off with a straight edge I did the following: Row 1: I chained 3 & DC’d into same stitch, chain 2 & SC into the fan chain , chain 2, (DC ch2 DC) into the v stitch, chain 2 & SC into the fan chain and repeat until the double crochet end where you single crochet into then chain 2 Row 2: HDC into the top of each stitch & HDC 2x (twice) into each chain and you should have a straight edge. Of course you can use single crochet etc, instead of the half double crochet.
TY for the pattern. Was exactly what I was looking for. I have had the same yarn and made myself a hat and a long wide infinity scarf. Now I wish I could find some more of this same color. I am planning to make a cape with it open in the front. Have found A pattern for but not THE pattern they show. Looking to match my classic car. See picture. Gold with black stripes down hood and along each side of car under doors.
This is a beautiful pattern, but how do you finish it so its squared off at the end. Im brand new to crochet, and i appreciate how clear and concise this tutorial is, thank you.

Row 2: HDC into the top of each stitch & HDC 2x (twice) into each chain and you should have a straight edge.
Of course you can use single crochet etc, instead of the half double crochet.
Couldn’t edit but in Row 1 the beginning & end are double crochet as per previous rows.
