    This tutorial is so excellent. I did this stitch basically against all your yarn recommendations (not out of pettiness but just to use what I had available).
    I'm a total beginner so using a super bulky multi strand yarn should IN THEORY be out of my league at this stage but your tutorial made it so easy to follow and it looks beautiful so far. I only have half a panel and will need to buy another skein to finish this stitch panel but AH Im just really happy with how beautiful it already looks and am so excited to follow this project.

    I couldn't see the stitches, so I went to the blog post. The instructions were written well enough and were easy to follow. A swatch will provide me with whatever visual I need to decide if I want to continue. I recommend using a lighter color if you want people to actually see what you're doing and what the stitches look like. Thanks for the blog post and stitch pattern. 💕💕💕

    About what size should the squares end up using a DK yarn? I have seen the size of finished blanket but not each square. I just need to know if I need to adjust hook size as I crochet loose. Thanks

    • @CrochetWithTiffany
      @CrochetWithTiffany  Месяц назад +1

      Each square should measure 13 inches wide by 13 inches long. 😊🧶❤️

  • @lisachristiano9248
    @lisachristiano9248 2 месяца назад +1

    If I decide to use a 4 weight yarn instead of a 3 weight yarn for a blanket, what would the difference be, besides the heaviness of the blanket? I’ve never used 3 weight yarn before because I always felt it was too thin. 🙁

    • @CrochetWithTiffany
      @CrochetWithTiffany  Месяц назад +1

      Honestly, depending on if your size 4 weight yarn is on the thin side or thick side, the difference in the blanket besides weight is dimension. The blanket will be slightly wider and longer. It won’t be crazy but it will be noticeable. If you chose to just go for it ai don’t think it would hurt anything. 😊❤️🧶

    Is there a video that tells what size (how many inches ) each square should be?

    • @CrochetWithTiffany
      @CrochetWithTiffany  Месяц назад

      Great question. That info can be found in the patterns but generally we are hoping to get a measurement of 13 inches wide and 13 inches long. If it's slightly less that is ok, blocking will get you to the dimensions.

  • @jandearlivinglife4433
    @jandearlivinglife4433 2 месяца назад +1

    I have a question about your chart and sizes …. Are every block going to be the same 3 plus 2 for the chain.
    If I want to make my squares bigger . I want to make the throw size but have no idea how many to chain ? Am I dividing the chain amount you have by 3 ?

    • @CrochetWithTiffany
      @CrochetWithTiffany  Месяц назад

      Yes! For every project you want to make using this pattern you will need your foundation chain to be worked in a multiple of 3 + 2. I did help you out by providing a sizing chart including the throw blanket size and how many chains to chain. I hope this helps you out. 🤗🧶❤️

    I can't tell from the dark color yarn you're using, but when you skip a chain, are you counting the chain you just worked in as one or you counting the chain next to it as one?

    • @CrochetWithTiffany
      @CrochetWithTiffany  Месяц назад

      Good question. When working along the row you will begin counting in the next chain over. 😊. I have a lighter version of this tutorial being released very soon for those who are having a hard time seeing what I'm doing in the video. I hope this helps! 😊

    If we are making the sampler blanket why are the chains a different number. The one o am watching is 56, the previous was 52...I am not sure I understand or there is another video explaining. ❤

    • @CrochetWithTiffany
      @CrochetWithTiffany  Месяц назад

      Great question! Each square has it's own multiple stitch count requirement. I am not going off of having the same number of chains or even the same number of stitches, I am trying to match up the square dimensions. All squares should be as close as possible to 13 inches wide by 13 inches long. With a little wiggle room for imperfections.
