Thank you so much for being clear and the close ups of the stitches. As a beginner , I find many other videos go over which hole to insert too quickly!
You're very welcome! I try my best to go slow so everyone can understand the stitches and techniques properly. Happy crocheting!

Such great tutorials Amanda! I appreciate you so so much for these great tutorials, being about 10 months new to crochet I have not learned how to read patterns yet, so these tutorials are great and encouraging for newbies like myself to be able to make great projects in turn inspiring us to learn more! Love this stitch and your easy-to-follow instructions. Do you have a tutorial on adding another color?
Thank you! I don't have a specific video showing how to change colors. I try and just show you if the pattern calls for it. However, I have a picture tutorial on how to change colors on my website: www.amandacrochets.com/how-to-change-colors-in-crochet/ Hope it helps!
Amanda your series on washcloths or pot holders is super..Keep up the great work

Thanks!
Thank you. I didn't know what that stitch was called.
dusty katt you’re welcome!
Love this stitch pattern. You should make a scarf pattern with the grit stitch. Ny could also a good idea also with the griddle stitch. I bet they would make great scarves and blankets. Could you create some scarf patterns with the griddle and grit stitches? I'm glad you like my ideas. You are awesome. :)
Hi Haley! Yes I could create some scarf patterns with these stitches. Thank you!!
No problem. I am glad you don't mind that I keep giving you crochet pastern ideas. It's always so fun to come up with new ideas. I know I mentioned soap savers to you in one of the other video's comments I replied to, and I am crocheting one right now as I'm typing this. I had another question for you. How do you hold your crochet hook and yarn typically. I know everyone does it differently. I usually weave the working yarn through my right how so it goes in between my pointer and mi.le fingers[q~@]rests on the understside of my mi.le and ring fingers, and then comes over my pinky finger and rests in between my ring and little fingers. To create tension, my ring and 'like fingers are closed into my palm. I shift the hook between and left and right hands actually. I'll have the hook in my left hand when starting to make a sitch, and when I yarn over with my right hand, still holding the hook in my left. I reach my right hand down to the bottom ofthe hook and grab on to it while pulling whatever loop I need to up and over with my left. Keep up the great work, Amanda. :)
@@haleytyrrell9609 I don't mind the suggestions at all! I am adding them to my list and whenever I feel I'm in a crochet rut, I plan to refer back to this list. I hold my hook in my right hand "knife style" and my yarn in my left hand. I have the yarn strand in between my middle and index finger with the yarn strand over my index finger for tension. :)
Great
Thanks!
Nice tutorial. :-) very easy to follow and your patterns turn out just like they're supposed to. I'm kind of curious, but I thought this was the Suzette Stitch? I'm not trying to be a jerk I'm just curious if there are different names for this Stitch.
Thank you for the kind words! There are a lot of crochet stitches that have the same name, so I'm sure this stitch can also be referred to the Suzette Stitch.
So I could use the peaches and cream original for this washcloth or towel set?
Yes of course!
How do I make a dish towel out of this stitch.
I figured it out
I'm glad you figured it out :)
hola están muy hermosas tus puntadas, no le des tantas vueltas no expliques tanto si vemos cómo lo haces entendemos saludos suerte?
Thanks for watching! I appreciate your kind words and hope you were able to follow along ok 😊🧶
