- We have three examples of kungfu in the ring. Two of them aren't too good, but the last one is epic. Let's watch and see. First match is a Bruce Lee imitator vs a kungfu master. Second match is an Iron Palm master vs a Sanda practitioner. Third match is kungfu legend Ehsan Shafiq taking on a Sanda guy. I wish I could find more footage of the third one, but I so far have had no luck.
One of the clips we commentated on: • 李小龙模仿者重拳KO传武大师,赛后拿棍叫嚣搏...
Ehsan Shafiq: / @ehsanshafiq

2:35 Fun update! - Спорт
To see that Bruce Lee imitator in another match against someone more trained: ruclips.net/video/BaGL99Gev2w/видео.html
Congrats on getting your braces off. Yeah, they can get a bit much.
Yep. Two more days!!!
I think this format only works for 3 short fights. The more skill on display, the more a fight deserves its own video.
Shafiq is the best and most spectacular kung fu master i've ever seen testing his skills in real combat sports
1:36 is a Kung Fu Stockton Slap
Looks like it ;)
nah that's not it. that's what we call our LEAD HAND SOW CHOY there's no slap there

I like your glasses more than those fights. lol. wow that 2nd fight guy can fly.
The entire sport needs to agree on what makes a 'Master/Mistress.'
Oh, I'm pretty sure we can all agree that the Mistress part has nothing to do with sport😂
I’m down for videos of bad examples of every style!
I like the hilarity contrasted with badassery. Worst of every art sounds good too.
I have been watching you for a few years now, Mr. Jerry. Just wanted to thank you for all your hard work in finding all these videos for us. Appreciate you!
Good format. Video length was good too. Keep it up!
Shafiq was the real deal
The success vs. failure contrast is great.
Shafiq was a legend
That first knock out may make the Kung Fu guy has an advantage in the streets, no joke.
I like the idea of "worst of all, best of none" lol. id love to see some clips of other badly done martial arts, along side badly done kung fu, to see how they compare. seems fun, and really interesting.
As far as the sandwich, id be fine with 2 good one bad, or 2 bad one good. let it depend on the availability of good and bad videos youre able to find, I say.
o negatives here. You find very intereting content to post>and you are a great cimmentatror, knowledgeabe , funny and irigial. Plus, you at=re the funniest fude in sports.
Love the format. Keep it up 💯
Thanks! Will do!
Ok this was a good laugh 😂. I needed that today 🤣
I saw a video of a small Tai Chi master vs a giant wrestler a few years ago. Tai chi master demolished the wrestler repeatedly. Everyone was amazed. Would be great to review that video!
first off, congrats on the teeth good sire!
secondly, i like the balance approach, i don't really care what type of 'sandwich' but seeing both is nice.
Cool, thanks!
Good stuff. I can't believe that kung fu guy is for real. We'd need to see the fight in realtime, not slowmotion.
Also, fights with real masters are nice too. For example that Capoeira Master that got into MMA and was called Marcus Aurelius, or something
Great moves
I like the format. Those first 2 were so bad that they were just completely funny. I would be interested to see more of the guy in the 3rd fight tho.
Yeah, I think we will feature Ehsan more. A lot of his matches aren't full length online, but we can still find the highlights and analyze.
the "kung fu embarassment" footage probably started from the infamous Botzepe vs the other WingChun master challenge to see which WC was the best. Is there a full version of it somewhere ?
the wild jump kicks are the best
I like your video pitch at the end. I used to watch a series called Bronze league heroes. meaining 'Best of the best of the worst of the worst'
😅😂😊
That last guy was incredible
He's got a lot of videos up. He died a few years ago.
Yeah, he unfortunately passed away years ago. Such a loss for the kungfu community.
Is iron palm even really kungfu in the sense we understand it in the west?
I know that kungfu ostensibly means "any skill attained through patient practice" but in the west, we understand it to mean "Chinese martial art"
From what I understand, iron palm is just a conditioning method and not a fighting style?
You are such a kung fu fan boy!
there ain't nothing wrong with that. kung fu can fight.
@@hungsingkwoonusa650 so can a street fighter. Infact anyone can fight
@@Andrew-qy1kz not entirely true.
@@Andrew-qy1kz why are you trolls always hating on kung fu? did you get burned somewhere? by who? are you a shaolin do stylist? i bet you think MMA is the only test to good kung fu huh? is the world flat too?
@@hungsingkwoonusa650 I’m not hating on kung fu. Seems you are quick to judge and jump the gun. Perhaps you should ask instead of assuming.
CAN YOU POST SOMETHING ABOUT FILIPINO MARTIAL ART ACTUAL FIGHT? I'VE ONLY SEEN PRACTICES AND MOVIES USING FILIPINO MARTIAL ART BUT NOT ACTUAL FIGHT IN THE RIGN OR MMA.
Yes, I have a silat one coming soon!
like
middle eastern martial artis is heavily slept on. If you wanna see good kung fu, and good traditional karate, you just gotta go to india, pakistan, or afghanistan. Karate tv here on youtube is a wonderful martial arts channel from india.
Theres also some really good karate and kung fu in africa, but its harder to track down.
Australia and i believe New Zealand have great kung fu as well. Dan Djurdjevic from Australia has a youtube page on here with hundreds or thousands of kung fu videos that really give full contact practical applications for tai chi, xing yi, and baguazhang. he even does full contact sparring in his videos. he isnt interested in competing (he may have back in the day) and he is also in his 50s with some health issues as of late. Otherwise he would be like the Kung Fu savior. he is a genius, and so is his brother. they co own a huge martial arts school.
Kung Fu is amazing.. It's effective and deadly and it's a very complete martial art system.. but the problem with Kung Fu and most TMAs these days is the existence of mcdojos and the lack of pressure testing and sparring.. It's very hard to find good Kung Fu schools these days because most "masters" care only about the money, and not the art.. this wasn't the same back in the day where legit Kung fu schools existed.. Look up KF tournaments from the 80s, they make even mma look funny.. Renowned Kung fu fighters like Ehsan Shafiq, Paul Vizzio, etc. were really no joke.. Sergio from the yt channel "Practical Combat Martial Arts" is also a legit Kung Fu practitioner
Whats the reason these 'masters' lose so often? Is it cultural or..?
First here
Nah, I think this format only serves a ticktocker attention span. Personally, I'd prefer you leave yourself more time to go into the details of each fight
Well, I wish the tiktoker attention span were only a small number of people.
@@FightCommentary I understand. I think the best compromise here is to keep doing the full lenght content, but also experiment with some RUclips Shorts cuts
Exactly. You read my mind!
First one was atrocious. Like horrible...
That was like a couple of kids playing ninja or something.
I don't see kung fu. It's a slug fest/brawl type fights.
Please stop calling these guys masters. The first guy is obviously an amature.
Lmao, but suck
Non of this would work in a real fight hogwash
