Well some say that the guy who talks to him actually poisoned him or something, but the beautiful part is that if he was killed by the guy, the nod with the head has a different meaning, it makes it clear that the guy only intends to kill Ezio and leave his family alone, and also Ezio dies happily knowing that templars will no longer threathen his family when he is gone.
AC black flag had one of the best endings of all time. Edward kenway became the man he wants to be but not the husband he supposed to be.
The music for Altair's death makes it even more legendary to see how the OG protagonist died.

Ac4 was my first ac on switch and... Dude, that hitted hard. Edward's story is just depressing and unfair
He is a pirate mate, Ubisoft knows why Edward's Life had to suck.
If you read the novel that told of his story before and after the events of the game, then yes. More so by the fact he likely received word of the loss of the Jackdaw, his daughter somewhat refusing to have anything to do with him in her teenage years. Plus, the fact that the injury he received from Roberts still plagued him, so it led to his death when Templars attacked his home, abducted his daughter and then proceeded to brainwash his son. He's known as a tragic hero, but eventually, all tragedies end and give rise to a new beginning.
That beginning, in my opinion, is Conner's story in AC3 and what he does after the events of the game.
When I was a young man, I had liberty, but I did not see it. I had time, but I did not know it. And I had love, but I did not feel it..
Ezio is the only wise assassin ya know.

Black Flag hands down the most bittersweet moment in the entire franchise it made me cry on my 1st playthrough
god Ezio's speech about understanding life's greatest values always makes me tear up he was and still is the greatest assassin in the series nothing can replace him it was a borderline masterpiece
For this reason I am a fan of the saga, the classic assassins and their stories are unique and deeply emotional, every minute you play you enjoy everything, the games make you feel that you are the protagonist, you live their experiences.
In my opinion these games have a unique touch that no other game has, and that is that each title of the saga including the RPGs come to life as you play them, and their stories make you reflect...
My comment is very long but I make it clear what I think about this great saga , never forget that through their eyes they saw masterpieces, Requiescat in pace Ezio, and Altaïr...
The most Shocking death of Ezio breaks me when I see it.

Altair is my favourite AC character & I was thinking that how horrible is to die alone in a huge ass library protecting a secret & waiting for someone special to come so that you could pass onto that secret to that person. It sure is heart breaking.😭😭😭😭

What made me cry is Yusuf's death in revelations like I haven't got to meet him that much and suddenly he's dead,and also he spent his life trying to protect Sofia until he can't anymore,a true Assassin of the Brotherhood

I felt like the one death that hit me hard was Phiobie’s death in AC Odyssey. She’s been with Alexios/Kassandra from the start of the game and she admired them, and when she got killed you can even feel that the main character was obviously broken and had a lot of negative emotions going through them.
And the fact that she was very young and she was killed without hesitation was really heartbreaking.

I am 63 and have been playing video games for 40 years, for the first time ever, in Assassin's Creed Origins I really felt the death of a character, I came close to crying over the death of Shadya

The ending of Black Flag made me almost cry, Altair talking to his son made tear up, and Ezio's death made me cry. Thank you Ubisoft, for making such an video game series ❤😭🙏

Redheads are always heartbreakers. Marie being killed, Anne turning Edward down, Caroline dying offscreen, Elise picking revenge over love and dying. Sofia could be called the only happy ending Redhead, except that Ezio's death was still saddening for such a great man.
I was crushed when I found out Cristina had died, the first time I was affected by a video game emotionally , I’m glad ezio was able to love another woman again and passed away peacefully .

Ezio's death is the only thing that still makes us cry. A boy from a portrayed banker family to losing his father and brothers then becoming a grand master assassin after all of those events that happened in his life at least he had a great time to built a family of his own even saving his loved ones from the templars countless times rest in peace ezio may you soul be pleased with the work you have done in this life

You should've add Lucy's death too. I know that she was a traitor, but really, that felt so emotional and sad, because she really seemed very close friend of yours, so being forced to kill her because of some random goddess tells you to was just terrible
All of these scenes are saddening but what really pulls at the heart strings for me personally is how black flag ended

@@taramaforhaikido7272 yes other assassin's had a strong reason to backup their behaviour but he literally made the brotherhood corrupt by playing with those pieces of Eden even destroying two whole cities the only good thing he did was he trained Conner to rebuild the brotherhood in America but hey man everybody has their own opinion but I really don't like Achilles.

I've only played Odysee and Valhalla, so far and all i can say is i was nlt prepared for Phiobie's death. Usually i do not like kid characters in games, but i just could not dislike this kid. So when i reached that scene where she dies i was sat there like '...no...no...no...undo it...undo it...right now...' i reset the mission and tried multiple times to see if there was some trick, like of i got there faster could i prevent it. I was convinced i'd done something wrong, i went online and was genuinely gutted to find out there is nothing you can do to save her.
My Bestie is the reason i even played the game at all, and she did not warn me about Phoibie's death.
From the ending of AC4 and on, this video is too much. Nice one!
