      People ignore the present day plot, and juno. The reality is that all the old games, (AC1-Syndicate) were part of a major storyline, and it isn't a crossover, but a sequel. Sad that ubisoft rusehd all games to release so close to eachother tho. That said, the new games have a far less clear vision for narrative, many people simply don't understand assassin's creed, all because the the new games.

      I already knew he was gonna skip AC 1 despite the many epic moments and assassinations from Altair, like Al Mualim "the student defeat the teacher" moment or Robert de Sable "You have taken my life and so damned yours" when he tells him the truth about his master, people who started the series with Ezio's games tend to believe AC 1 is bad, boring and skippable to the point of forgetting it even exists it's their fault if after years we never had an AC 1 remastered or even a simple ps4 port for it and we probably never will, cause Ubisoft thinks almost no one liked the first game so they won't bother making it available to other consoles...

    The most cold-blooded assassination that truthfully had a chilling impact was Germain's. Arno made him feel every slow second of that blade, with a dead stare. The only other time prior to that where I felt it was truly a kill motivated by rage and hatred, was when Ezio killed Uberto for betraying his father and brothers.

    Haytham claiming that the Templar order needs no indoctrination is pretty ironic considering he only became a Templar because of indoctrination

    • @kevind3974
      @kevind3974 2 года назад +54

      And prity hardcore indoctrination at that to. They killed his father in front of him then gas lite him on it for years. Dude ended up dispising everything related to his father because of them.
      And if he was using Arno as an example (Arno would at this point in time be raised by bealopen the Templar leader) as Arno was never indoctrinated, hes off massively their. Sorry to tell you this hathem but it was never anyones intention to recruiter Arno into the order. Arno was adopted out of respect for Charles and the only reason why Charles was even killed was because he had the box. That Box is a blight on humanity, its caused an untold amount of pointless deaths. If it wasn’t for that box Charles would have been fine.
      unlike in the americas and Britain, franch was completely stable. They had a truce that lasted almost 40 years before the revolution caused it to fracture. Frances set up at that time was more like that of the golden age of the mob. They worked off the principles similar to that of the almarta and higher tier killings even on another side had to be green lite by both sides higher ups. Out of all time periods we’ve been able to play in this is probably one of the most stable of all of them before its absolute collapse. Their was no reason to indoctrinate Arno, their wasnt even really a reason to recruite him. Hell he was sheltered from the truth. Not until Bealopen died did he even know what a Templar or assasin was.

      @@GHOST6472 but is true... Play it fully free of nostalgia and forgetting Brotherhood and Revelations exist.
      The writing and story of the game is a complete clusterfuck: couple of important events happen out of coincidence, Ezio has this ONE moment of growth (never fails before, never will after) the villains are cartoonishly evil (watering down all grey moral spectrum of the first game), Ezio's speech after killing Savo makes no sense (he says he would've fallen for vengeance if it wasn't for his allies. But he was originally going to Scape and said allies putted him in the path of revenge in the first place) and then he contradicts himself by trying to kill Borgia out of spite only to be stabbed and have a change of heart 5 minutes later.
      2's story is a disaster period... We used to have a lot less refined taste for videogame stories before. But people should stop pretending that game is some sort of Casablanca

The senators just realised they have made a GRAVE mistake. for Caesar won the peoples hearts and the senate had robbed them of that. In ancient history the senators who murdered caesar were arrested and killed and those who escaped, got caught and killed. the last 2 to survive thought that leaving to Africa would save them, until a soldier recognised them and went up to them to ask who they were, obviously knowing. the senators tried to bluff, but mid sentence the soldier took out his sword and slashed one's throat and the other was later decapitated. Their corpses left to the sands and beasts of the sands. Spitting on their body and cursing their names.
