Though he wasnt in this part, apparently the paper boy was so into his role, that when hes ontop of Lanes car banging on the window, he actually broke the window. the actor said he approached the role with a serial killer like attitude
means, “Where are the bathrooms?” One part that was omitted from this scene was when Al Meyers (portrayed by the late David Ogden Stiers) kept asking her, “Are you enjoying your stay in our town?” Every time he asked her that question, he repeated it a little more slowly and with a much higher volume. He kept asking her slower and louder, like that’s supposed to help. If I had asked Monique that question in English, only for her to continue her charade of not understanding English (unbeknownst to all except for Lane Meyer, L8R on in the movie, when she finally breaks her silence), I woulda just repeated the question in French:
You edited out like half the dinner! Hm, **Thumb Up** anyway I guess because the movie is excellent. Very underrated, but one of the funniest movies of the '80s.
"Gee I'm real sorry your mom blew up, Ricky" is one of the best movie quotes ever!
His delivery is what kills me. Ricky is not amused. LOL
Ricky's mom was the bomb back in the day.
She had it goin' on!
Ricky‘s mom is also the chain smoking crossing guard in one crazy summer
This is one of my all-time favorite movies 1985 best year ever
Jennifer, ...

This was my Halloween Costume one year, no BS. lol
+Frank Furlacker Nice!
+Frank Furlacker did any figure out what your costume was?
Actually quite a few did, I was shocked. I just didn't want to drop over 100 bucks for a costume.

I could not appreciate the brilliance of this line/movie as a kid, lol
This movie never gets old!
One of my favorite scenes from one of my favorite movies from the 80s. Thanks for posting this! 😂
Guess she won't be able to eat any spicy food for awhile! :-)

Dan "I've Had Tighter" Schneider
Not even a Nickelodeon show video lmfao
😂😂 this scene is hilarious AF.
"Savage" Steve Holland movies. Rich kids had John Huges movies...the rest of us understood Holland was our dude.
Still one of my favorite movie quotes of all time.
This scene and when Rickey tries to jump for the balloons always bust me up laughing.
I miss having "The Flintstones" be on every day in reruns.
If you have cable, just buy whatever programming package Boomerang comes with. That’ll effectively revive your past.
Such an underrated movie.
Ricky “Just show me your feet Layne and we’re square…”
God bless em.........Boom!
This is probably one of the best movies I've seen that (seemingly) no one else has.
Best scene in motion picture history
I’ve always loved Kim Darby.
The line on its own is pretty funny, but John Cusack's deadpan delivery makes it the stuff of legends! 🤣
God why did you leave out the next line David? "Doctor said she, just won't be able to eat any spicy foods for a while."
+barneyrebel0123 Sorry! Maybe I should add that? :-)
David Flanagan Still a great clip though. And a great movie.
What was she drinking?

Great Movie !
The only time Dan Schneider hugging someone wasn't a sign of him being a stalking and that's because it was age appropriate.
cool movie
God bless em!

Edie McClurg should have played one of the moms in this movie.
