  • WHY COOLANT IS BOILING IN THE COOLANT TANK RESERVOIR ON A CAR
If have a car and the coolant is boiling, antifreeze is boiling and you want to know some of the most common reasons why the coolant is boiling, antifreeze is boiling in this video we will explain that. It does not mean 100% that you have bad head gasket if the coolant is boiling, antifreeze is boiling. In some cases it could be something as simple as bad thermostat that could cause the coolant to boil, antifreeze is boiling. Air in the cooling system, if you did not bleed the cooling system the right way could cause the coolant to boil as well. Check the radiator fan, coolant level, test coolant temperature sensor and test radiator fan as well. Always inspect/replace the coolant tank radiator cap as well because bad radiator cap can cause the coolant to boil , antifreeze to boil. Hopefully the video will be helpful to any of you that need help with this.

This happen to me with my mustang every time I race the engine it wouldn’t over heat but when I shut the ride off and park it after pushing the engine over 4k RPM, the coolant would come out of the coolant cap steaming, I started stressing about it because I thought it was a bad head gasket but i check the oil and there’s no milky liquid or signs of coolant in the oil and I check my exhaust and there no smoke whatsoever so I checked my thermostat and it was stuck half way open, jammed I would say and my water pump was giving out making a whine, but the signs I seen with my damaged thermostat it would take 15 miles to get to normal temperature and my gas MPG was bad and everytime I pushed the engine the temperature gauge would slightly go into the heat side until I let off the gas it would cool down, but I changed out the water pump and thermostat my car doesn’t do that anymore

BUT WHAT if expansion tank is way above maximum line, and radiator starts at full immediately after replacement radiator and fill, but the next day overflow reservoir tank is way above maximum level adn coolant in radiator lowers so cant be seen. So i siphoned off coolant out of overflow tank, then filled radiator to top level again. Went a couple cycles like that. Confuisng. 2008 nissan xterrra, which has a pressurized coolant reservoir overflow cap, non pressurized radiator cap.

Afterwards, I burped the coolant with a big funnel, but now the coolant level on the expansion tank is a bit high after the car seats overnight. When I turned my engine on the and left it for about 10 mins, the coolant was boiling and pouring out of the cap. I checked my oil and it doesn’t seem to be contaminated. I saw it look blue from inside when I open the cap but was brown looking when I saw it from the outside. So Idk why I thought of smelling it. So I took the cap off and put one side of my nose and smell it and after I felt it kick. I look it up and wonder by so when I look it up I found out of deadly it can be. The car was sitting for a while so it wasn't hot antifreeze. But my question is did I end up damaging my organs doing this?

Tips are helpful. The speech w/ gargling sounds you make is a real turn OFF & is why I DON'T watch more of your videos. Also pls stop saying "guys" in every other sentence.
