@@flowq3874 it is slowed down but pitch corrected?? Wierd. By the way I have a PAL bluray of this concert and it is perfectly fine speed wise so was this a problem that only afflicted NTSC copies or have they now fixed the problem. My copy is about a year old.
I love the part with Marco aggressively singing in a rhythmic fashion while Floor nails the melody over the top. However my favorite part is Floor doing "Beautifully shy as you are - Never lose your heart and do come across". What an amazingly beautiful voice. Be well and peace.

There's a moment where Emppu goes behind Floor with his left hand up looking like he's going to grab Floor's arm. Well three songs later, he goes by and messes with her in-ear monitors. @@forkless i guess if you don't know it , it might not matter much, but having listened to all these songs so much, i can immediately tell and it bums me out :-( Romanticide sounds also really slow in some of these videos
@@matejpohanka1719 Unless you have absolute or pitch (which is somewhere between 1 and 5 in 10.000 people) -- or relative pitch for that matter -- and even then you won't be able to tell unless you know which key the song is supposed to be in. And yes, I can hear it like others that have heard the song at it's proper speed, because that's we have a frame of reference.
Absolute pitch has nothing to do with it. If you play me just 3 seconds of any song from that bloody Blu ray version, I will know...no, I will feel the difference. It destrois the song completely to me. These songs were composed in their specific tempos because those tempos fits the songs just right, it feels right for the songs. Speed it up or slowe it down and it will loose its magic. It is not just like they say...ok, now we will write song in 200bpm. And trust me, I was preordering ShowTime Storytime back in the day as a Bluray and I was very unhappy with it right the way it came to me on release day. It just did not felt right. But I love my DVD copy that I ordered after these problems with productin were published.

I see you new to this.Since you call your self a guitarist maybe you should check out Frozen Crown ( Kings) .This band has a left handed female lead guitarist. If you like something a bit harder then check out Bridear (Thread of The Light)
React to Arch Enemy if you want more female singing/growling 🙂 they are an Swedish Melodic Death metal band. Songs like Nemesis, Bloodstained Cross or The World is yours is very good.
If you'd fancy a departure from Nightwish but still a Finnish band, it sure would tickle my fancy if you'd have a gander at Children of Bodom. Perhaps you know them already, you being a guitarist and all. They've inspired a generation of endlessly shredding metal solos and while Alexi's playing is sometimes a bit uneven, the gig at Stockholm in 2006 was full diamond. Hate Me! is my favourite. It's a terrible burden to live with when every NIGHTWISH song you listen to is your favorite.

It's not that bad, the sloppy transcode only slowed it down by 3.2% while it is noticeable if you know, you won't be able to tell otherwise.
