A quick cinematic to pay tribute to the mighty Vengeance from Star Trek: Into Darkness.
A mate from in-game (@Tyramsey) and me have canon accurate builds and we took them into a Foundry mission (DPSMark) for some pew pew.

Hell ya! What the Vengeance class ships SHOULD be doing! Maybe the Federation would of lost less ships, and lives, during the Dominion war too.

The Vengeance is definitely one of those ships that takes awhile but the more you see it and the more you use it, it slowly grows on you.
They need to update the Borg so at least they can be the threat they should have been.

Great video, love to see the Vengeance in action. Just wish Cryptic has made the kelvin timeline phaser blasts a little larger, they are hard to see most of the time. Really likes the use of the kelvin timeline gear. Though would have like to maybe have seen the drones.

Those are the phaser ports. Check out the real movie... you'll see them there
Two of the Balls are Autonomous Drone (warp capable as well) - on the far right of shot you can see one swatting the Enterprise in the Movie when it knocks her out of warp. The other section is a multi-turret
The tech specs in the Eagle Moss magazine as the designer intended it to be (not rushed into service with a minimal crew and high automation) but with all it's "Stuff" is scary.
It seem it has Drones launch-able from the saucer as well (small non non warp capable ones) top and bottom - likely with a shared magazine and able to be used as ball turrets when not launched.
Not to mention those two large deployable turrets (possibly rail guns).
The secondary hull is supposed to be warp tech and missile storage and very minimal cargo - The Primary Hull is pretty much all weapons and fighter/shuttle bays - the scale is a bit confusing as it's so huge things look so different to the eye.
It's also supposed to be hard to lock on to with Torpedos and hard to see in the first place due to special hull coatings.
As well as movable covers on the warp nacelles and deflector dish.
It can if it want's to close off the deflector completely.
I hope one day some Star Trek show will find an excuse to use a Vengeance type in some way (or something very close to it).
now imagine a ship like that updated to 24 century imagine combining the dreadnaught class and a soveren class with phaser cannons, quantum torpedoes, ablative armor, and primary and secondary shield.
Could there be an episode on the game where we can fight the USS Vengeance itself?

This particular video is not from a TV show. I made it using Star Trek Online. I was piloting the Black Vengeance and a friend was piloting the White Vengeance. I directed the camera paths to give it a cinematic feel.

So I am in the front saucer section. I need to get to the bridge. I have to go around the port or starboard side and enter the center command module to the bridge from behind.
It may be cool but not very logically efficent in access.

Would've loved to see Vengeance vs Nerada
Vengeance would have shredded it to pieces. The Nerada only had Shrapnel Torpedos as an offensive weapon being a mining ship not a starship.
The Vengeance had advanced phaser, swivel mounted torpedo launchers using magnetic rail gun system as well as launching half a dozen automated drones capable of launching smaller but similar spec torpedos.

I have yet to acquire this ship and doubt I ever will, it is my dream ship in STO but I don't have the Zen to purchase that many keys.

My Character is a Lvl 65 Fleet Admiral or Just Admiral now. I don't have the U.S.S Vengeance, but I have ship that can take on just as many enemy ships.

Maybe a cameo of *Emperor Palpatine* as the *Romulan* chancellor. How about a tribble & ewok as Captain of the next Enterprise! I wouldn't be surprised. 😒
Maybe try using "camera turn to face" if you do more of these, just to make the turning a bit more natural? Great shots though

Jellyfish is the small ship from the 2009 movie. Although a science ship, it is speedy and armed with a forward cannon. It might be fun to fly one of those and keep some of the pressure of the large cruiser.

Yeah, that's the one. I don't think they actually call the ship by name within the movie, so it's probably easy not to know what it is called. I've never taken out a really small craft in the game, so I have no idea if it would suck.
This apparently, is one of those *lockbox ships, that you have to buy FOUR THOUSAND KEYS to hope you have a remote chance of acquiring, right?*
You can get it by opening a shit ton of boxes to get 900 lobi (absolute ripoff) or you can buy it on the exchange for a couple hundred mil ec, they're always selling.
