- Here is an updated version of our 2016 NON-CANON fan-made pocket-sized adventure. This simple story is about a mission of distance set in my imaginary Sky Universe. Captain Benjamin Storm and crew have been given a remarkable assignment: to take the Albatross faster and farther beyond our universe.

There are better special effects in this short film than on many sc-fi series. Whoever did this should be granted a career at a major studio.Amazingly well done!
While many of us have our criticisms, this is undoubtedly what JJ Abrams WANTED to achieve with his vision of "Star Trek." Thank you.
Man, believe it or not, i've watched your micro movie dozens of times.
Your movie has a good vibe feeling that I cannot explain, but I keep watching it several times, and every time I feel as if it was the first.
Congratulations!
Wow, that really makes my day! Thank you.
I must agree with one-hundred percent, it IS an remarkable piece of work!
Me too. I rewatch all the time!
Ya, feel the same way as you Goris Faria. There is something about watching this multiple times that gives me hope. I just came across this channel after 3 years since this was made. It is September 2020 and this pandemic false flag is causing me to yearn for a world like the Star Trek universe. I desire to escape this madness in productions like this.
I concur. This has very high rewatch value. It makes me dream of bigger things.
This is so beautiful and truly amazing. I actually started crying at the scene when the ship came out of warp. The music and the scene itself ignites the feelings of wonder from what Star Trek was about. Space as part of the mystery; and the journey. This is what we need more of... Just the beauty of Star Trek.
Thank you so much. That truly means a lot.
Fantastic!!! I love the ship, the renderings of space, the warp field effects. Rivals anything I have seen in the movies and TV. Thank you.
Wow, practically every time I watch this marvelous micro-movie I am deeply moved, to the point of tears... What ineffable magic is this...? A hyper-intense melange of wanderlust, bittersweet regret & desire, gut-wrenching yearning, and a general disgust with the current state-of-affairs in our particular 'timeline'. Ultimately, beyond all other truly exceptional components of this fan-made endeavor, is the choice in underscoring. My god, the music! It absolutely sends me...
Thank you so much! It truly means a great deal to me.
It's spellbinding isn't it, I'd love to see more!
Deep.
I love this version of the USS albatross want to see more of this ship😊😊
... and "the continuing voyages" just keep getting better and better.
in a pigs eye
absolutely love watching this I've watched all your versions if this and honestly it never fails to send shivers down my back. it really is a beautiful piece
Thank you, that really means a lot.
I wrote you an email a week ago - did you receive it?
I love this concept of a Kelvin Timeline Miranda class ship, along with the new one seen later in the video. Great use of creativity!
I am awestruck by this ship's design. And will even go so far as to say "In my fifty-two years of being a Star Trek fan I have yet to see a ship design to rival the 'Enterprise NCC 1701' until now": exceptional craftsmanship...EXCEPTIONAL!!!
Wow! That really means a lot. I am a big Star Trek fan also. Thank you George T.
@@Alvision100 can you tell me name of shi (variant)?
This non-canon ship I call a miranda/marathon class variant. Thank you for watching.🖖
NCC 1701 Is classic, and an icon for Star Trek
Jonah: You've got that right. These designs are fabulous. I only wish that the Big Production Houses would hire (or subcontract) some of the movie productions to teams like this.
Tremendous looking ship, an excellent addition to the Star Fleet. Thank you for your combined efforts it was moving.
I watched the original version and now this one and it is utterly FANTASTIC! you say you are not a pro filmmaker "really?" this too good to be amateur!
Thank you I appreciate you taking the time to watch! It truly means a lot.
To add to that. This is probably one of the most beautiful starship designs yet. I want to see more of the albatross.
@@canadianman000 Agreed
The Albatross is All Beef, no fat
To me it was the most realistic of the fan or even commercial star Trek in term of the sound effects and look of the ships and what we could expect if Quantum Warp Drives became a viable tool of technology.
The Warp effects! Just amazing! Simply beautiful. That's movie quality! 😍
Nice hearing the howl used in "Airwolf" at 1:24 in the video (fitting since Airwolf also originally ran on CBS) :) Nicely done!
This is so good I even read the credits. I would love to see the Albatross come across a de-cloaking Romulan Warbird, not for battle, just for show.
Magnificent Work !! Great design of a Star Ship , looks like a Miranda Class only turned upside down . 😃
Brought a tear to my eye when she dropped out of warp inside the atmosphere... I have no words but amazing... Probably one of the best videos I've set my eyes on!
Thank you so much. That really means a lot to me.
Only gets more brilliant the more I watch it!
Thank you. It was a labor of love that took a couple of years to put together. Thank you so much for watching. Be safe. 🖖
This is gorgeous! I can't imagine all the time that it took to make this. People pay millions for static art, but this is moving colorful art & music together. I love it.
I love how your ships bob and weave as if they were really flying through the atmosphere. Very graceful!
Just. Wow.
Absolutely beautiful sequences!!!
I love these videos. Thank you!
This is amazing. All the fan-made stuff I've watched over the last several years, yet I've somehow missed this, the most impressive looking one of the lot.
This was really well done and expertly captures the spirit of adventure of the best of Star Trek.
Very nice effects. Still looks as good as anything out there more than three years after it was posted.
Wow!!! How good was that!!!! I tip my hat to all involved with the making of this. You are all exceptionally talented!
This is what Star Trek is about. Fantastic. Beautiful. More please
Incredible!! Incredible Work!!!
That was amazing! You have seriously got to make a movie. It would become a blockbuster!!
I love this ship design. It's AWESOME! A great little flick. Keep up the good work!
Incredible, you'd swear this was huge multi million dollar movie, so well done visually spot on, you can tell a lot of time and patience and a lot of love went into this, well done guys!

Wow - this is genuinely amazing
Just beautiful!!
Remarkable film...for a little bit, it looked like the ship was going through the Nexxus!! LOVED it!!
Well done, Best of all fan Star trek yet!
Absolutely awesome!
ABSOLUTELY STUNNING WORK! Especially impressive with no budget to speak of, yet a lot better than the CBS access Trek. A very well done to all involved! 1:23. Love the little Airwolf sound effects.
Beautiful, you and the others who put this together got skills, well done.
stabilisedchaos thank you!
MAD "Skills," Mad I tell you!
I love this, thank you from a 60's fan
Excellent, brings a tear to my eyes. Bring back some of the essence of Star Trek🖖🖖!!
This is some very impressive and beautiful work. You should all be very proud.
What a future we could have....Infinite adventures on infinite worlds. I loved this!
You guys deserves a place in Star Trek 4 animation crew
Beautiful work. I am so, so impressed. I can not believe how great Fan Films are now. This is close to rivaling -- if not comparable -- to the big productions in the theaters. Keep up great work !!!
The long distance flight scenes are reminiscent of the BSG effects from a few years ago. Most excellent and something I'd have no problems watching. Thanks for posting.
really cool how the effects mirror that of the new feature films, and the shots.
These short fan films are better then the damn movies!
Just found this today. Well done!!
Hope that we get a chance to see more of your amazing work with the USS Albatross!👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Just awesome! More!!!
I'm very impressed. Excellent work.
Really really beautiful!! I´ve watched all your versions and all of them are amazing! congratulations! now you have a brazilian fan!
Thank you very much!
*Nice!* I always love re-watching the original. This is awesome
The Large Nacelles makes sense now. If you consider the idea that early ships needed to have a sufficient warp bubble to create warp travel then having large engines did the job better than more traditional ones that were consistent in the early to TOS era especially after coming under threat by a enemy who's far more advanced then you. you have higher performance with the warp bubble creating the desired effect and likely increased range or speed. The Nacelles are large not by looks but by design. It seems Starfleet cheated by simply making the Nacelles larger thus throwing more power and equipment (especially modified or experimental) in them to achieve power performance equal to at least similar to the Narada which we must remember was scanned and its data sent to command from the first movie essentially bringing the federation and potentially the Klingons as they captured the ship up to TNG or at least Early TNG the Ambassador class would realistically be the Kelvins Enterprise Equivalent, if not in size then at least size and power performance. So the Kelvin Enterprise makes sense then she was built using new tech far too early and thus Star Fleet had to modify or design her in a way where she wouldn't fall apart or blow up to use the newly developed tech (the Nacelles) but the new tech allowed her to be scaled up much bigger and thus is more powerful and much more capable than her original timeline variant.
That ship looks bad-ass! Congratulations!
Well done, I look forward to seeing more
Beautiful !!
I loved it, continue the great work. Plenty adventures in the Kelvin timeline.
Hey, l have a ship that it would be cool if u can model it the same way u did this ship if u want. My Facebook page is Unification Star Trek Online and the name of the ship is "USS Rising Star". Got pics of her listed there. Thanks.
...And that makes like number four hundred!
I kinda love how the main characters are ships.
Got chills, well done!
That leap out of warp at 3:41. WOW!!!!
Wow, that was great, thanks!
Incredible, short story........so nice
Beautiful work! Sound design and score was terrific. Moving.
Amazing truly great work
Maravillosas vistas! Felicitaciones!
This is so cool, I actually had tears in my eyes from all the awesomeness!!!! You should be extremely proud off what you accomplished here. The use of sound effects compliments the visuals so well. You absolutely get what is cool about Starfleet ships. Genius! Thank you so much.
That truly means a lot, thank you so much.
@@Alvision100are you still doing VFX?
Wow, OUT-Standing - Thanks for Sharing ! !
(That looked like a lot of HARD Work; it paid-off).
I like how the spaceships bank against the atmosphere as they turn in the vacuum of space, and how their sound is carried without air.
Wow that was super neat!!
I love the pocket adventure!
This is awesome!
Absolutely!
Beautiful ship. Love it
Fantastic visuals, and great ship! I’d pay to watch this movie!
I know it been a little over 2 years. Saw this in my To watch listing.. She looks like a runner. Her design the cgi work. OH MY GOD the jumping into warp. USS Albatross just looks like she just wants to RUN! And keep Running!
She just want to go beyond that infinite. She just want to know? What is out there? What is beyond that beyond? Will we dare that dream? Will we dare that unknown?
As my favorite line from James T Kirk. First star to the right, and straight on till morning.
Amazing video! Wonderful work!
Thank you for watching and thank you for your comment. It means a lot. She is a runner indeed.🖖
Good job guys, Hope to see more
this is really nice..the photo-realism.....
just freakin awesome!
USS Albatross is a fabulous ship Great design!!
I have seen some good starship videos but WOW this is one AWESOME piece of visually beautiful and stunning work. Looking forward to your upcoming endeavors. Thank you for sharing this with us.
Beautiful high quality video!
Really really really really good! AND ... somehow you've made me appreciate the Kelvin design aesthetic! Impressive work.
Thank you I really appreciate it.
this is so good omg
I'd always thought "nothing, and I mean nothing, could rival the Enterprise 1701-A SHIP design," that is until I saw this video... excellent work... excellent!
Wow, that is a big compliment and I really appreciate it! The Enterprise 1701 design is legendary, I remember watching The Wrath Of Khan as a kid and being awestruck as the Enterprise pulled out of drydock and headed out into open space. Thank you for watching.
There's more hope and wonder in this little project than all the Abrams movies combined.
Beautiful graphics! I loved it and I also love Star Trek;)
Thank you sir!
Actually I'm a lady. You're welcome
My apologies! Thank you ma'am, I appreciate you taking the time to watch.
If only Nu-Trek had been able to capture a tenth of the imagination and wonder this represents. THIS is Trek. I so very wish people of substance had an opportunity to reimagine Star Trek unlike the JJ-hacks of Hollywood. The initial teaser trailer where it just showed the Enterprise under construction gave us a sense of awe about the visceral exhilaration and some existential fear of going into the unknown to explore sights and wonders we couldn't imagine.
spectacular!
I want these ships in STO. Great video. Why can I only give it one like?
This is more star trek than modern star trek... nice video..
