It’s already been proven that prohibition doesn’t work. Both drugs and alcohol should be legal but there should be still penalties for someone if they commit a crime while high or intoxicated. Make people take responsibility for their actions. In the US a person can join the military at 17 with parents consent and 18 without but they can’t purchase or consume alcohol.

Pshh haha thx for the sarcasm! People CONSTANTLY negate the true nature of alcoholism, and the horrific consequences of use, even just once. It’s the most (only really)acceptable drug to do in public… anyhow, 😂 stay hydrated, or thirsty, or whatever you prefer. I was just meaning that ppl choose to consciously, and socially, separate other drugs like crack, and heroin, claiming that those users are awful, and that alcohol isn’t “as bad”, and because of that, ppl refuse to admit they even have a problem, because it’s so acceptable to drink.

The look on her face when she was told about the multiple assault charges says she remembers it all and having a blackout is going to be her defence in court , that or she really couldn't give a crap .

I hope she eventually saw this and realized that she has a problem and desperately needs help. It's never normal to not remember how you got put in jail or that you drank recently but thought the last time was 2 weeks before.

I had a friend who went to rehab. We use to always try to encourage him but I realized what he meant when he said he couldn't stop drinking. Even stumbling he would be trying to get more to drink. Even had to hide the bottle a few times.

She had the right to remain silent but not the capacity to.
Why they question drunks is beyond comprehension. Especially questions about the circumstances of their arrest and alleged crime.
Because they don’t know any better. Everyone becomes a clone of the ones who came before. They aren’t trained, except for lockdowns and such.
They question them so they can have it on record and provide the court with their statements. Basically to prove anything they said while intoxicated isn't valid.
I think it should be illegal to interrogate a person under the influence

To be fair, she is quite drunk. It's a sad fact that alcohol and drugs take a grievous toll on a woman's beauty. I've seen young women in their 20s with a drug habit who appear to be in their late 30s/early 40s. By the time they're in their 30s they'll appear to be in their 50s or 60s 😳

The entitlement is just oozing out of every pore in her body. "Honestly I think it's everyone's choice" to ignore the law, assault officers and be a complete public nuisance. Claims to not remember anything and smirks as if that's a good thing. Lets hope those felony charges stick.

even if she does not remember, nobody forced her to get drunk. Nobody forced her to get drunk and then to assault a cop, regardless if she remembers or not.
Everyone has been drunk just some people end up in jail. She doesn't need felony charges for being drunk

Only cause she was drunk on this occasion, doesn’t mean she’s an alcoholic LOL. I was an alcoholic, been 10 years sober. Age to drink in the uk here is 18 so before I was a fully fledged alcoholic, I had nights where I was blind drunk. But us brits know how to drink, get blackout drunk and not assault officers
She was likely very close to alcohol poisoning and death. For someone so young to become blackout drunk is very, very sad.
Being she isn't even old enough to drink, I'm surprised she wasn't charged with underage drinking, as well. Let's hope she learned her lesson and quits drinking entirely as she likely has a predisposition for alcohol addiction. 😔
"not old enough to drink" she is more than old enougjh. Its just the ridiculous laws in the us where u can drive a car, buy a weapon, have a business at 16, but you are not "old enough" to drink alcohol. I get that alcohol is bad for teens, but its bad for people in general. This 21 year barrier is just so random and doesnt make any sense at all.

Expecting someone 18 or even 21 years old to understand the consequences of excessive alcohol consumption is a recipe for disaster and while I don't think the legal drinking age should be the mid thirties, I do think it should be at least 25.
That is, of course, just my opinion.
@@mom42boys Then why not go all the way through and make alcohol illegal? I mean, you trust a 18 year old that he would handle a gun professionally and with care, but you don't trust him the same with alcohol? I was working in a rehab for alcoholics for about 13 months and that changed the world for me. Imho it has nothing to do with age, but with a lack of responsibility.

I once drank alot of alcohol, it almost ruined my life. I have sobriety now. It's a destructive thing. I lost a brother to it.
Likewise. I'd be dead by now from booze/drugs had I not sobered up many years ago.
@@bluoval3481 Good on you. I'm the same, i sometimes think that too. My brother Wayne died alcoholic. He was in denial. I faced up to my issue with it, and have been sober for six years now. I have a higher power and that's what keeps me on the right path.

As a hardcore alcoholic, I used to worry about ending up like this. I guess I drink responsibly, but there are precautions I always do to make sure I am "safe". Drinking can get you a very bad time if you are not careful. Taking care of the people who rarely drink was always the worst.

I just have to be careful with these hard drinks, namely Mike’s Hard Lemonade and some hard alcoholic drink that Mountain Dew just put out.

We’ve all had a drink, most of us have been drunk at some point. I have on many occasions (regretfully), but never have I been so bad that I don’t remember what happened. The lady has a problem and needs help. That being said, the alleged behaviour is inexcusable. Deserves all she gets, which probably won’t be harsh enough.
