He meant pee, not peas. That man was throwing urine on people. That’s why the one down for murder attacked him, didn’t matter to him that he’d get another charge, technically throwing urine is assault as well, so if it was “fair” they would both have gotten new charges.
It’s common for the more serious offenders to “take care of” problems the guards ignore.
That makes more sense, I legit thought it was a fight over someone throwing food at first. I'm sure that does happen from time to time, I think the whole thing about urine is more common though.
I had been trying to listen for a food fight too.

What would you do if a wacko threw his urine at you?. The attacker kept reporting what was happening, but the problem was not addressed. Really hope that unine thrower is not put near anyone who does not like to shower in his bodily waste. I hope the attacker gets a pass.

Watching the officers run was HILLARIOUS, you can tell they never usually run like that to these kind of incidents the clearly usually just kinda wonder on over there but they wanted to pretend to run for the cameras 😂
While it was funny they were running,if you've ever did time you would now all guards in the vicinity do run to back up officers when there's a fight or other altercations,seen it few times personally with no cameras around..

If the officer’s addressed the man throwing urine, the other guy would not have had the need to attack him.

bro and these are good conditions, I mean they're single cell. when I was in jail ontario canada we had 3 to a cell one on the floor and constant lockdown for days even weeks at a time. Imagine being confined to a small room with 2 other strangers for days and days.
1 - 6 years for a fight? Really. So that's why people never get out. They fight because they have to and when they do it's 1 - 6 years added on their sentence.
He didn’t “have to” fight the guy. It’s an assault so they had him charged with assault, not all jails do this….so it’s not standard across the board that all jails press charges. But in this case they did. It sounds like the guy that did the assaulting didn’t care because he has a lengthy sentence coming…which in those cases, the inmates don’t care & they will just fight to fight not caring if they have a longer sentence or not.
@@SusanH578 I've never been inside but its exactly what DJ said. If you're the forgiving "laugh it off" person on the outside like me you cannot be that person on the inside. Having said that if we're talking about the green things we eat with out meals being thrown then yeah it's a prank but if it's urine then that's a whole different story as its disgusting. If you're in the chow hall and someone takes your food you can't just say "go ahead you can take it" You have to fight because others see it and once they do then everyday someone will take stuff from you. Then they'll demand you pay them. If you don't then they beat you.
You are not allowed to defend yourself in jail, prison, or the free world.
