@@GraveMemories Even worse bc alcohol withdrawl can kill you. Heroin withdrawl will make you feel like you're dying but you won't(maybe from lack of water from vomiting but you can try to stay hydrated)

This is one of the many reasons why I do not drink alcohol. You have no idea the effects it can have on your brain and it’ll cause you do stuff you’d normally never would do sober.

It’s fine in moderation. Like if you are drinking for the taste but not if your trying to get drunk or not feel anything, that’s when the problems start

I find it concerning that the arrestee was allowed to walk up on the Sergeant like that. The camera caught him in the background, standing up and facing in the Sergeant’s direction. The officer who was talking to the Sarge had a clear view of the arrestee, but when he didn’t react, I assumed that another officer who was out of frame, ushered him back to his seat. I was quite surprised to see that he had walked that distance, uninterrupted and got that close to the Sergeant. That should have never happened.

He wasn’t gonna hurt the dude relax. When I was in jail here in texas they didn’t force people to stay in seats like that, and guards never got hurt and were just fine.

I’ll toast to medical personnel for sure, but as for cops/CO’s nah. A lot of them really go on super power trips a lot of the time and only escalate things when they’re supposed to be “held to a higher standard” and deescalate.

Recovering Alcoholic, I'm only coming up on 3 months but after 7 years of battling with alcoholism, I don't miss the withdrawals or the chaos it brought my life.. I know some people can drink but those who can't don't find out till later and sometimes it's too late.

I knew a guy who was a nightclub promoter in NYC, I asked what's that, what do you do? The payoff is bringing in groups of kids who want to have fun and have money to spend. Rich kids will spray money if they're having a good time so pump them up, bring them to the club and encourage them to party hard.

While I agree that the first guy was a mess, when you look just how bent both of his arms/wrists/hands were, I don't know anyone (conscious, and even some unconscious) who wouldn't be making some noise and instinctually pulling away when handled like that. That wasn't just a lock.

Very disappointed with the sergeant's behavior with the second guy. He was a smartass, but he did absolutely nothing physically threatening the entire time, but the sergeant kept prodding him and threatening him. He seemed to really want to push him into doing something and that's not acceptable. If I were the man in custody, I'd be speaking to a lawyer. That Sergeant is absolutely antagonistic, unprofessional and disgraceful. Even more sickening to watch than the drunks he processes.

I’m 32 I’ve worked in bars & clubs since 18 if I was off work on a Saturday I’d go out with the girls but never got drunk to the point I don’t remember anything or threw up. But I haven’t touched alcohol since I was 25 after seeing the things I’ve seen in work.

I've been drunk many times.. Always come home but just don't know how.. Also really dangerous because I didn't know what happend between 01:00 am and 06:00 am. That scares me the most.

The second dude reminds me of the type of dude in rehab/detox that thinks he’s hilarious and everyone wants to be around him but really he just prolongs stuff and everyone just makes fun of him on the low. N he still goes along with it thinking that it’s making everyone like him more. He also talks about his addiction/drug use in a way that sounds Braggy, and swears that outside of the facility he is some badass big shot and built this ego just bc he middle manned a couple deals for a handful of people. These types are also in their mid to late 30s and they always try and flirt with the younger women that are just trying to do better.
