Francisco was the funniest, calmest, most quiet man I've seen on this series. Great sense of classic sarcasm.
"You know where you are?"
"Yeah! Boise, Idaho"
"Close, Portland, Oregon"
"Ehhh"
I love Francisco :D
Are you for real dude?

it was the “and i have no privacy😳 ohmygawt🫢” lmao he’s a national treasure

Negotiation with a drunk person is like dealing with your 3-year-old kid. Lol 😆
I suspect this one is not much different when it is not drunk.

Yeah they won’t listen
I loved my 3 year old kid. Not these A-hose.
“I always feel like…somebody’s watching me!” Dude was funny. 😂
Friend of mine went to jail for a stealing gas from a farmer's tank as a teenager. He said spending a night with 20 other people in a holding cell and having to pee in a toilet in full public display was all it took to make him decide jail was not an option for him.
@Kakuna Rattata - holding cells are typically in local jails that are temporary... mostly drunks and petty crimes going before magistrate or "night court" judge. Regular prison cells (long term sentences) are for people who've been convicted and have a toilet and sink in each cell.
That's simplistic, and varies... but
works as a general rule.
Depending on the locale, prison conditions vary widely in the US. Some are nightmares.. some are not.
@Kakuna Rattata - oh there are some horrible prisons around the world. I've seen the reports. Definitely places to avoid.
I've known many, many cops in my life. Trust me, Sgt. Gorton is NOT a cop you can act a fool with! She's great!
She’s awesome, just respect everyone and she makes the process smooth.
“I’m in a tuxedo”! Yeah, and you’re also in a restraint chair!! 😂🤣
Seems a little more than alcohol for that first guy
He said marijuana too, lol
@@scoobydoo8498 oh he's definitely on more than marijuana 😂

I think he also may have some kind of mental illness.

I only have two modes when I’m drunk…overly happy or passed out. Drink responsibly people or stop drinking altogether.
'I'm not scared. I did a thousand eighty eight days!'
'Do I look like a criminal to you?' 🤣
The Portland policewoman has a talent for de-escalating situations. The guys could learn from her.
What a bunch of losers on the show tonight.
Why we love Cathrine Gorton
My heart breaks for the girl that is still using drugs, like I know she has to learn but I have been there. I am now multiple years clean but it still hurts to see people struggling when life is so much better on the other side..💔
My heart breaks for her
This is why I don’t drink alcohol anymore. It’s not worth it.
Me! Totally agree! Can’t justify the money it costs and the hang over!
Good for you man 🙏🏻 stay blessed

WOW! That is cheap..
It must be terrifying to be so convinced that any food offered to you is poisoned. Poor guy just needed his medication.
I was going to say exactly the same.
The only plus to this dude being in jail custody is that they can enforce if a judge orders the inmate to take medication. Sometimes folks need the meds to be administered against their will to return to a state where they’re willing to take them voluntarily.
When the cops asked the 2nd guy if he likes men or women he said none because he obviously likes children.
Lmmfao
It’s nasty I hate that their are people that go after minors it’s just wrong and disgusting
How is it obvious tho. ? As a former state inmate it's not always what the person says about one guy.
He looks a lot like the hatchet surfer guy. How old is this?
Imagine being assaulted by some old creep in clown makeup...that’s pure nightmare fuel trauma right there. Hopefully the victim is doing ok these days 😢
“Do I look like a criminal to you?” Sir didn’t you just say you did 1,088 days? 😂
Raising a toddler is the best training for a corrections officer.
I’m an old ex con who walked away from drugs and prison in 1992. Many times I was arrested and did time in county jails and prisons. I always chose to be respectable to the officers and guards and they treated me in kind. It always amazes me how many fools do it the hard way
Another loser looking for accolades in cyberspace…pathetic.
The COs in my city jail are the exact opposite. Don't try to talk to them in any way or your life is going to be difficult.
Prison isn’t a badge of honour - especially when you’re in jail! Who cares if he’s wearing a tux & makes money - he’s under arrest & they’re not so they win 🙄🤦♀️🤷♀️
Sadly, there is an entire group of people composed from all races, classes, and ethnicities, that thing prison IS a badge of honor. I don't understand their desire to serve time for bragging rights but there you have it. I'd be utterly mortified to be put in prison.
I love this Jail series. So good.
How proud must all these parents be to see their son/daughter here in this way?
Well they never cared, that's why their kids goof all day long

Some of these guys suffer from mental illness. It's not their fault.
Probably not very?
Apples don't fall far from the tree

It's amazing these shows were filmed almost 10 years ago now. I wonder how the arrestees feel watching these after so much time has passed.
Most of them are probably dead or back in jail.
Glad to have thier act together
I'm always wondering what happened to Westside Slim 😂
The customer is not always right! The customer is just the customer 🙄
I never get tired of watching the show.
Jail should be shown to young people so they would know what's going to happen if they break the law. Watching Jail has made me a model citizen, and I'm old!
Yep always watched cops when I was a kid lol
well they did have those "scared straight" classes. problem is, lots of younger kids out there think theyre so tough and a tour of jail doesnt help, and putting them in usually makes them worse. some-people are just broken
@@flipnap2112 And you are not wrong I had to go on a field trip to a prison when I was in the sixth grade in an alternative school and six years later I was there myself I was a terrible kid and to be honest that’s the only way I learned was actually going and pulling the time
I’m 42 and these documentaries still scare me straight!

She said she "accomplishes more in an 8-hour shift than more people accomplish in a lifetime".
Allow that to ring in your ears.YIKES
Visions of grandeur anyone?
@@ratataran exactly, we should all be impressed that she's accomplishing more then most in their lifetimes. SMH big-time visions of grandeur, for a person that is working in a building where criminals are coming in and they've already been stripped of all possible weapons, even earrings.
That female Sgt doesn't mess around!
She is HOT and as a female that makes me wonder!!
The young man who was going to attend the pow wow was such a sad thing to see.
That level of mental health problem, where people think they're being poisoned, is so often a sign that they have a mental illness that will stay with them for life, even if treated properly, and their lives are steady...it will keep coming back. But usually they don't get good treated, and their lives spiral down, so it becomes terrible.
The police have ended up being the people who handle mental health problems in the US.
It is not what they are trained for, they aren't given the tools or money to handle it.
It is terribly stressful and not treatment for the unwell people either.
So unfair all around.
There used to be mental health services in the US.
When I was in middle school I was so bad the principal drove me to a juvenile center which is way worse then jail. In his own pick up truck few years later four years in prison. I straightened my life up and all is well now
Good job
He may have a rented tuxedo, but that chair he is strapped to does not look like any limousine I have ever seen.

I just love it when these rude little punks try to act like they're tough.
They find out real quick that they don't know what tough really is.
I will never understand how police officers think they will be able to reason with or hold any sort of meaningful conversation with someone who is seriously intoxicated. You think this drunk guy understands anything you are telling or asking him? I can tell through my TV screen by looking at his eyes that he is hallucinating. He has no idea where he is. His brain is being totally affected by alcohol.
This is why I am not a big drinker. I have seen it ruin too many people.
@Rich Rigney. Alcohol does NOT make anyone hallucinate, unless you have a very serious addiction to it & you go thru withdrawal then you will go thru the DT's & hallucinate! That can take a couple years to 20 to have that addiction, depending on how many times a week you consume it & or how much one is consuming per day & it is the harshest on one's body! Very sad!
Who? Westside Slim?
Still trying to figure out what Tuffy McWestside was saying🤣🤣🤣
You lose many freedoms when you go to jail. Speech is one of them.
I’m happy there’s places we can put the clowns of society
Catherine's got a lot to learn!!!
Whoa Modesto is where I'm from.. cool to see this jail featured. That Modesto sign in the beginning looks way better on TV than in person.
I really need a refresher course on speaking drunk or on drugs cuz I couldn't understand much!
They're rarely worth listening to, in my experience.

I love how tough these punks are when they’re drunk or high, but the minute they sober up, they start sobbing like a 4 year old
How do you be that drunk without passing out! He’s actually funny.
I could not do that job. I would get in trouble.

@@jeste4187 just because one is worse than the other doesnt mean people are protected in jail

Man, with how many problems alcohol causes you would think it'd be illegal.
I wish it would work, but we tried it during Prohibition and it was a disaster. At least now people are realizing that we were lied to for many years when we were told that alcohol was preferable to marijuana.

“Ant this is Sgt. Professionalism.”
“I see she is professional, but what is her name?”
“This _is_ her name, the word has been coined after her.”
Gorton looks like she could hold her own!
I find it crazy that people go to jail for being intoxicated in the US. In Australia the police just tell you to move along if you are drunk in public or they will help you get home.
That sounds like the logical thing to do.
Lol Fransisco 😂
Scared straight. I think all kids in the United States should either go in the military automatically or have to do a customer service job search for two years know what it’s like to get out there in the real world. Definitely customer service or retail job. And I tell my employees the customers right until they walk out and you don’t need people yelling at him or being disrespectful ignorant
for real. I see kids these days talking about how evil work is, and when they do they want 60 an hour as minimum wage. look at all these crybabies from twitter and google who got fired. theyre out protesting and writing columns about how hurt they are inside and how inhumane it is. like, yo.. its called getting fired. go get another one and get back in the game. so many entitled and arrogant people with nothing better to do than dream of new ways to be a victim.
Agree it’s not everybody gets a blue ribbon. You gotta work for that
Did you seriously say youth should partake in retail instead of military training?
Yeah, that sounds like a great idea…
Why not train them by way of boot camp and military life first? You won’t ever get that experience from retail. Ever.
No matter what you claim to be put through by working in retail….
Yep totally agree. Other countries have compelled 2-year military service and I think that would teach a lot of kids not to be such brats.
British kids are by far worse then American kids.
First guy was in Stripes - “Lighten up, Francis”
An arrogant & unruly DUI. Thinks he's better than anyone. I couldn't deal with people like that. God bless these people.
Drinking alcohol sucks and I wish I never started drinking it
