I actually saw a pretty big RUclips drummer kinda making fun of JD. The thing everyone seems to miss, (IMO) is that JD Beck does the best version of what he does. You can do this with literally ANY INTERMEDIATE DRUMMER with one foot in the advanced stuff. It's so easy to get discouraged these days in a time when people score you, judge you, compare you to others....DON'T GET DISCOURAGED!!! Do your best version of YOU and know that you sound more like YOU than anyone else on the planet. Remember...what we do is art 🎨.
@J D I see a ton of haters anytime a drum company posts something about JD Beck on IG. I don’t get what they’re hating for. Kid’s got mad talent, and must be doing something right to literally have a ton of big names in drumming (and other musicians like Thundercat/Mononeon/Anderson Paak, etc.) respecting him and giving him props.
ppl just hate on him bc he's pushing boundaries and changing the game. ppl hated on monks when they went from composing chants for 1 voice to 2 voices.
@@TupDigital well, naturally… there’s something about a large man with no front teeth that drives me mad with desire. Not to mention the tantalizing prospect of a good roughing up in the sheets when he throws the gloves off and gets down to business. The safeword is asparagus.
@@DZNTZ 😂lol. Good luck getting "asparagus" past your teeth with a jersey fight strap wrapped around your neck. Upon further research, I am kinda shocked to find out Ty Domi is only 5'8"! He was a bull. Used to love watching him mix it up w Ulf Samuelsson of my Pens back in the early 90s
Example 2 is the Alex Reece - Pulp Fiction beat. It’s a standard drum pattern for classic, metalheadz-type DnB. Anyone here looking to learn more about jungle rhythms, I would suggest listening to remarc, photek, foul play, krome and time, dj hype and go from there.
If You like JD Beck guys check out Company Laser he/she is an amazing drummer cant tell who it is under the mask though ha ha. Plays for Shobaleader One.

JD definitely doesn’t hide the fact that Cole’s one of his biggest inspirations. Honestly every self respecting drummer shout take a page out of Louis’ book, dude’s incredible
Im sorry to say but ive been playing breakbeat since i was 14 and im now 41 and ive researched Jd Beck and he plays very different to what you think. I understand you have took the time to try and teach this groove to youtubers but you are not playing the ghost notes like jd beck plays. Ps Louis cole is open handed like myself so you will struggle to play his beats also. Keep drumming brother.

@@8020drummer oh, i'm sorry, i dont clarified, "that genre" mean "music of clowncore" not the style of drumming. Clowncore's music a bit heavy, this confused me. I was thinking that Louis not interested in this kind of heavy music. Thank you for respond and good point about Sam Gendel.
Couldn’t quite get this one down. Until I put on a oversized comfy sweater. Now I’m booked for zildjian live, thanks Nate 🙏
JD Beck is so young but he's on another planet, can't wait for seeing the future of our instrument with musicians like him
He's touring on earth rn
I can wait... He's awesome but a lot of modern cats drive me nuts.

JD's snare sounds like Squidward dancing around
