@@brvnotrash yes of course gifts exist. When Domi was only 15 years old only there was only a few guys in the world who could play like her. That’s what I mean when I say she’s gifted. After one year in the French conservatory of Nancy, the teachers didn’t know what to do with her, no one was able to play like her. They called Berklee music school in Boston who immediately decided to take her. But the fees were to high for her parents. Berklee took her to president Obama who was delighted to pay her 4 years Berkeley fees. The White House do that every year for a couple of extremely talented young foreigners. That’s what I mean when I say she’s gifted. Have you see the video where she’s listening to an Oscar Peterson’s solo and 10 minutes later she’s playing the solo note by note ? That’s what I mean when I say she’s gifted.
@@leeloopatsy that's called free time and practice. kids can learn things faster than any adult so it's only obviously that they were surprised by her fast learning. if you want to not consider all the hard work domi's gone through to get to where she is today, you can be an ignorant and call it a gift yeah
Damn I wonder if they knew he died, if not, that's a crazy coincidence. RIP DOOM
Of course they knew. News travels these circles fast. These guys are apart of that weirdo crowd. As you can tell by her outfit and other vids.
No way did they know.
Too much of a coincidence, it has been reported that he died in October. Just because the public didn’t know, it doesn’t mean the news was kept air tight, a lot of musicians and people connected to him knew.
Doom has been dead for a few months (I just read). It's possible they knew when it would be publicized.
"Tribute".
They are so good….. would love to see a performance live
Just saw them at the Blue Note in NYC on Wednesday night. Their Nord Live Sessions clip is exactly how they are live.
watching this video, I knew the song as soon as it started playing and I know it by heart yet I still get shocked and completely blown away every time I hear a song from Madvillainy!
THIS IS THAT MUCH CRAZIER WITH THE NEWS TODAY. LOVE YOU DOOM. THE GREATEST. THANK YOU DOMI AND JD.
i'm losing my mind over the music these two make
Just to let you know. This was actually nothing but their takes and flavors on what is widely considered one of the best hip hop albums ever made. I would suggest checking Madvillany out even if you arent a hip hop fan.
Their rendition is incredible, but this music actually comes from mf dooms album, madvillainy
