This is great! Thank you! I did another yoga of yours recently with hip openers where you activated the muscle before the stretch. I wanted to leave a comment, forgot, and now I cant seem to find it ha. I just wanted to say that I think that activating the muscle before stretching is a great idea!! Not only is it much easier for the muscle to relax after activation (I wasn't even aware of this fact, but its so true!), but my guess was that the activation would increase the fresh blood flow to that muscle, therefore making the stretch more beneficial as well! I've been dabbling in yoga for 15 years, and you are by far the best teacher I have come across! Two years ago I injured my lower back, bed ridden, couldn't work. My housemate recomennded your lower back videos, I learned so much AND I was able to go back to work 4 days later. I find your teaching method fantastic, and love the fact that you teach how to hold yourself in each posture properly (something that is extremely lacking in other classes). I had apparently been doing so many yoga poses incorrectly for years!! Thanks Tim! You'e a legend! 🤘
This is such an amazing full body stretch - love it in the morning and for recovery! If anyone is wondering if it is worth joining the CMC I encourage you to jump in. Tim has created a collection of videos that really will help you develop the foundation you'll appreciate having and then move you incrementally forward until you're feeling stronger, more flexible, more grounded, more energetic, and able to do poses you wondered if you'd ever be able to do.

I recently had shoulder surgery, repair to a rotator cuff. My other arm has been compensating, so this practice is really helping me to stretch and regain my arm strength.
it is such a thrill when I have perfect alignment of my pelvic region, my core involved, my rib cage not popping out. I keep checking my alignment throughout my practice with your instructions. Namaste!
