Hello Samantha, What beautiful designs!! Could you please do a tutorial on the heart pendents you showed? I really enjoy watching and learning from your videos. You are a very good teacher.
You absolutely could... but you'd need to either start in the centre of your wrapping wire, or, move from the centre outwards, and then add more wire to move outwards on the other side, I'd think.
Lovely earings! I can't wait to try them. I was really happy to read your advice on another comment for cleaning your copper with tomato sauce (Australia). I've experimented with a tsp of salt and qtr cup of white vinegar which seems to work really quickly. Do you think that's ok? Shouldn't damage the piece? Anyway, I love your tutorials so thank you! ❤
Hi Samantha ✨ thank you for your lovely tutorial. I was wondering how you keep your finished copper pieces from becoming tarnished? I live in a seaside town and my pieces lose their shine rather quickly. Any advice? Thank you for sharing your ideas and creativity with us. ❤
Hello 👋 Thank you for your very kind words 🥰 It all depends on what you want from your pieces, to be honest. You can treat them with a patina like liver of sulphur, which deepens the tones of the copper, or you can leave it raw and then treat with a wax, such as Renaissance Wax, which you apply then buff off with a soft cloth. If you apply and then buff, two or three times, it leaves a very good protective layer over the copper. Or, you can just leave it raw and clean each time you wish to wear it… I do this with some of my pieces and I actually use ketchup to clean my pieces, which I then wash off after about a minute or so… unconventional, but very effective. Hope that helps 🥰

Hi there thanks for the tutorial which I made yesterday and made me cast my memory back to earrings I had made 3 years ago but I made the little hearts with a continuous wire and then connected to the ring, I found that doing them separately as you showed, the earrings aren't very stable 😊❤
Ah ok. I find mine are pretty stable, so I guess it’s all about personal taste 🥰 Because I attach mine on top of the frame, they are stable but if you attach them next to the frame, they can wobble a bit ☺️
