I'm so glad I found your channel. I've been beading for a couple of years, but I am not confident enough for wire-working. Forgive my rudeness, but which part of the UK are you from? My dad was in the USAF & we were at Lakenheath & Mildenhallin Cambridgeshire, I believe. My daughter has been a complete Anglophile most of her life also. Thanks for the simple, thorough basic wire projects.
I’m so pleased the videos are useful for you ☺️ My whole philosophy is to make my tutorials accessible for the bare beginner so as long as I’m hitting the mark, I’m happy 😊 My accent is North West England; Lancashire to be precise. I’m ex RAF myself 🥰
Absolutely gorgeous! Thanks for sharing and I must try to make some for myself. I just love them.
Have fun! 🤩 They’re lovely aren’t they ❣️
I absolutely love your tutorials you Explain everything so well, you are an excellent teacher, I can’t wait to start making some of your jewellery, thank you

Very cute earrings! I may try wire wrapping....you make it look so easy. Your tutorials are wonderful.
Thank you! 😊 Hope you enjoy making them
Thank you … your a great teacher!
Thank you so much ☺️ That’s very kind of you to say
Hi Samantha. I hope you all are doing well. Those look so cute. I just love them and they look so easy to make. Now I need to get some 16 gauge wire. Though I wonder if the 18 gauge would work. I've got some stout 18 gauge in silver plated. Its almost to hard for me to handle. Love your tutorials and always love seeing little Glory. He's such a doll.
Isn’t he the cutest! ☺️ I’d say 18g would be fine, Jeanetta. Hope you and your family are well 🥰
Love them and i will make me one for Easter. Thanks
Perfect little treat for Easter ☺️
❤❤❤❤❤ So glad your video came across my feed!!! Excited to binge watch you as i work!!! Hello from Maryland, USA
Ooh! Hope you enjoy watching the videos. And boo to work 😀 Thank you for being here ❣️

I just finished my first one super cute thank you! I struggled with how loose to keep my beads so next time I think I’ll only secure that first wrap 2 times with a bit of extra tail so I can easily take it off and add or subtract a bead or adjust that wire length as I come around the first time securing the beads but I’m super excited to try several pair.
That’s an excellent idea and would work really well. ☺️
Yep worked great now I’m using a crochet hook to fish the wire thru the hole much easier on my old hands thank you again !
@@LG-sw1ge that’s genius! I’ll try that myself 🤗
Very sweet
Thank you so much ☺️
Great tutorial TFS 😊
You’re very welcome ☺️
So cute ❤! You always make the sweetest items 💕 Really.
Ah thank you. That’s so kind of you 🥰

They’re so sweet aren’t they! Hope you love them 😍
@@samanthalatimer1 I tried…you make it look easier than it really is. But I’m not giving up and will keep trying! They are adorable!
@@marjoriecook7556 I believe in you!!! Keep practicing and I PROMISE you’ll love them. 🥰🥰

Hi Samantha, I am really enjoying all your videos. I love the look of raw copper but is there a way to stop it tarnishing.
Absolutely 💯 You can buy wax to rub onto the copper, and then you rub it off with a soft cloth. Renaissance Wax is a good one to buy, but there are lots of others too. Or, you can use liver of sulphur to give the copper a gentle patina too. Hope that helps ☺️
Hi Samantha thank you so much for replying, I'll have to look into that @@samanthalatimer1
Would it be all right to use 18 gauge rather that 16 gauge wire since my osteoarthritis makes it hard to use 16 gauge? Anyone have a tip to make the stronger wires easier to use for those of us with hand joints and strength?
18 gauge would be absolutely fine. It would be just ever so slightly less sturdy, but absolutely doable 🥰
To help shape the wire, you can use a mandrel, or a pen, pain brush knitting needle, and use your pliers to bring the wire around. I hope that helps. I have pain in my hands, and sometimes can’t pick the wire up. It’s very frustrating, but a good way to keep your hands and fingers moving x❤
Can you use Brass for this design, instead of copper?
Absolutely you can! Just make sure to work harden it a little as some brass wires can be a little on the softer side 🥰
@@samanthalatimer1 Thank you, I was wondering if you used half-hard or soft wire in your designs? It seems that some of the clasp designs would do better with half-hard.
@@SuzanneMarshall-q6s I tend to use soft but it depends on the piece. Soft is fine as long as you work harden with a nylon hammer 🥰

Hello from Japan!
I love your work cause they are simple and great for everyday wear.
Also, I like your centimeter instruction because we don’t use “inches”.
Looking forward to your next tutorial!
