My husband told me a month in that he wanted to marry me. We’d had an argument about something, and once things calmed down, I apologized for my tone and language, but not for my stance. I remember saying, “I don’t think that I’m wrong for my position on this, but I am wrong for the way I expressed my position and I apologize. I don’t want you speaking to me a certain way, and so I have no business speaking to you a certain way.” His response was, “I’m marrying you.” We’ve been together for 18 years 😂

“Dating is like laying concrete. If you allow everyone to walk on it when it’s drying all the footprints are on it.” Powerful. Asking God to block any unnecessary footprints that could cause damage, stagnate or extend the foundation poured out for me. Intentionality is what God has spoken to me.

I don't get the analogy. Dating, not sleeping around, is helpful for your lasting relationship in the long wrong. You need the different experiences to grow and learn and be the best partner for your husband or wife.

@@lhut5622 Not everybody is meant to be in your life. I seek God in everything, even those trying to date me. Some people have evil and unintentional interest in being with people. If it is not of God to have that individual in my life, then I don’t want it. Why put myself through unnecessary things when God s already saying no. Yes, I believe that some relationships will teach us some things but we must be intentional in asking God first, if that person is supposed to be there for a reason then allow it and if not then block it.

Last time l checked the issue was nearly 40k black unwed women homeless. When the initial report came out it got submerged beneath the immigrant and migrant political agendas. Major cities are dealing with an influx (or infestation) of increasing homelessness. Older Black women have to step up to the plate and begin teaching younger BW in their families and communities that it’s a disgrace, dishonor and shame to lie down with a man before marriage. Older Black men have to come on board with the same message. This is the pandemic in the BC!!!

I knew my ex was a king. I also know im a queen. He didnt walk in this world as one, neither did he see my royalty. As s result we stopped meshing mentally emotionally spiritually and physically. We could have been awesome individually and collectively. Had to let it go. It was hard but as they say, one word from God can change your life and that word came thru my pastors wife during a Sunday service "yes the breakup was hard but im not upset anymore. God hid my value from you because you are not part of my destiny". I wish him well and i hope he wears his crown one day as he should. I am never taking mine off. ❤

Wow! That was so powerful! "Everyone is not graced for me"‼️ You're not called for me‼️'Nough said❣️❣️God gives every man what he needs! I wonder what my husband needs? Maybe I am needed after all??? That would be Awesome ❣️
I noticed something about me that other women don't do! I used to wondered why I did it?🤔 I used to think I was always odd! 🤭 I guess I am in a way! 🤣🤣 My Mom used to tell me not to compare myself to others, all the time!! She would tell me to just be myself! Wait a minute!!! Wait a minute!! Oh my Goodness! 🤭🤭🤭 Is that why I had to listen to those f kids? I was wondering why it felt like I was being forced to listen to what they had to say? I kept wondering what does these PKs have to do with me? I was like I 'm not interested which is why I didn't tune to them on the first time they were scheduled to speak. Oh my Lord Jesus, my husband is a preacher! Oh dear! Lord help me Jesus!!
Maybe the problem was me trying to cheer on the wrong man??? Maybe I was trying to encourage the wrong man? He was clearly not trying to do anything! It was a waste really! He didn't give me anything to work with! He staunched me! I can't really explain it! It was like coming to a dead end street! He didn't give me like anything to work with! It was crazy! He didn't like have any goals or dreams or anything! It was like he didn't want to do anything or accomplish anything! He clearly did not need me! That's for sure! I don't know how come he didn't have any?? You can't lose your dreams! You can't give up on your dreams! Wait a minute! Why do I feel like I am talking to myself? 🤣🤣 🤦🤦🤦

That last part! He thought I was a convenience store… I shut it down. He didn’t want to do anything with his life. He wanted me to take care of him. I put him out. He had no goals and if there was something he did want to do, he wanted me to sacrifice all my time, attention and resources to make sure he had it.
When I dumped him he wanted to be a better man but slowly changed back to a boy months later. I found out he had a family behind my back. He wanted to have me in ways I never had him. Couldn’t come to him for nothing. Not even decision making. He was. It marriage material, found out he was just using women to get things. So glad I got out before my 30th but this guy wasted my time but I had lessons to learn but I was so mad at myself because I grew up in an abusive household where my father didn’t work and used us for government money and a meal ticket.
And I lost my mother because of it. I wasn’t being abused but just the manipulative stuff because he refused to grow up he would start arguments just to stay out but he was living a double life. He thought he had time to figure out what he wanted to do but I cut that off. He was working and had his own of everything but quit and gave it up to try and live off me. He wanted me to wait until he figured it out and he was 42 with nothing to offer then he wanted to be in the music industry.
