This was a GREAT lesson. Very simple concept but creates such a huge pallet of possible guitar tones. Now you just need to add the chromatic scale to the equation and the possibilities are endless. I almost skipped this lesson but happy I stuck around.🙏
This is one of the simplest and most advanced tricks for bringing the blues alive! Thanks, Claus!
Classy!
Always classy!
Thanks...
Claus, I have been playing for over 40yrs and have struggled with theory. But you make it so bloody simple and easy to follow!!! Thank You for Everything Brother!! Let me just say that you, Sir, can ABSOLUTELY TEACH AN OLD DOG SOME NEW TRICKS!!!
Tak 🙏
Would love if you overlayed guitar diagrams in all your videos/courses. Really helps see what you’re teaching and to follow along
my brother I just found your channel, what a gem!!! the only thing here is that I play with an acoustic guitar and without picking, just fingerpicking, does all of your wisdom (and online courses) applies to this modality or are there different principles on an acoustic guitar and with fingerpicking only? Blessings!
A dom7 is Dorian without the 2nd.
This is new to me after 30 years.
Will this new course concentrate on 4s tuning? Totally hooked on this
My guess is not because the other website is centered on 4ths tuning... But I also would like to know...
when using the dominant 7 chord ya kinda want to always know where the "Tritone" is.. it is always the nat.3rd and the b7 of any dominant chord.. There are two on each two adjacent strings. E7 = G#-D and also D-G# "tritone target tones" (I learned studying with Frank Gambale) - (the creator of the sweep picking.. truth)
