Best guitar coach. Period.
Believe it or not my teacher is better 😂
A masterful demonstration of this distinction. I love that you even restricted yourself to 2 notes. It really hits home and was obvious. Then the Smoke on the water was presented slowly enough to be really clear. Very Clear.
The Best of the Best. God bless You forever. Salut You from Venezuela
I have my eye on one of those guitars! Hope you are enjoying it...!!!
It's addictive! :)
Sir, this unlocked me. My solos are now solos. After all these years, i just needed to see the 2 note demo, and then try it myself with a backing track. CRAZY!!!!! Thank you!
Tap your inner drummer to get in touch with your melodymaker.
An insight in plain sight that probably most everybody is blind to..
Gradually the scales lift.
Excellent presentation.
you illustrate points so clearly yo
GuitarMastery is a very well titled channel. He offers a lot of uniquely helpful instruction. Excellent guitarist/musician and clear instruction.
Great vid! Great point! Love how the guitar floats in front of you with the black shirt and background 😊😊😊😊😊🎸
Awesome stuff.
The most useful lesson I ve seen ever!
Thanks much!
Glad you liked it! Thanks! 😊
i haven't come across a better (more important) guitar lesson on soloing..period!
This lesson did put a smile on my face, good job
Thanks!
Thank you!
I absolutely loved this video, sir! Delivered in a very friendly manner as though you were talking directly to me! AND, on top of all this, the information was something I've always felt, but was unable to put it into a sensible conversation! Well done!! I'd recommend subscribing your channel to all of my friends. Please stay well and happy in the coming New Year! Thanks ever so much. - Brian Cooper, Shinkai Studio, Japan.
You always get inside to head when you are teaching, this is Amazing and so effective !! Thanks so much.
Great you always help a ton
This is a great channel. Have you go any tips for reliably hitting chord tones (especially 3s and 5s) over chord changes? I'm learning jazz and I know where the 3s and 5s (as well as 1s and 7s) are in relation to, say, a 2 5 1 progression when I think about guitar but hitting them in soloing or remembering where they are on the fly is something that I'm finding it hard to practise.
Jazz is taught in a radically different way than any other style of music. On the guitar at least. The lack of a orderly system of notes requires you to learn any Jazz standard like you would learn the chords of a song. So before you go play with other people you not only learn the chords and the melody, you also practice specific arpeggio and scale patterns in specific places on the neck that you can then use for improvising. There isn't a reliable system out there for doing this on the fly. Other than my program called "CHANGES" which you will find on reinventingguitar.com. It's sold out right now but I will take in new students next year. Until then stop thinking about jazz improvising as you would rock or blues: You have to first lay out the arpeggio and scale patterns in the spots on the neck where you want to improvise and then practice them to the point where you can start being creative with them. I hope this helps.
@guitarmastery it is. Thanks, man. I was a metal player for 35 years so jazz is a real education now. Big fan of your channel. You're a spectacular guitar player.
@@richfrommitchyou should check out Tom Quayle's "Visualising the Fretboard" course
Good stuff. It took me quite a while to understand this myself. It's an inflection type thing, really. How many ways can you say one single word?
This is so relatable, and once you understand the concept, it's as easy as.....well, talking. Music is a language, after all. Just some food for thought. Thanks once again 🤘
Brilliant lesson. And that Strandberg looks freakin' gorgeous
Hey Claus, I passed the smoke on the water test! Haha.
And I'm still crushing the Blues Arpeggio course. I'll catch up with you soon.

Nice!
Perfect tutorial...thanks!
Just one question:
Can I borrow your brain now and then?
This is a 🤯 moment for me. Will try this approach when I get home!
Good one! Thy! 🙂
Finaly words on what i feel after 2min jamming😅 this is actualy exactly the thing when caliss de tabarnak when ... You Reach really well buddy.. keep on going
I feel like a ruff Diamond that Needs to be polished🤣🤣
You shoild take me on your podcast ... And show your audience concretely how your knowledge can have a huge impact on guitarist🤣🤟🤟🤟
Claus!!! Over here absolutely killing it with 2 notes! 😂😂😂
I explore phases and connect the the sections, techniques, really the song will call the solo out what it needs
Believe it or not....I have been doing what was discussed in this video my whole life as a musician. I play roughly 7 different instruments and have done the same concept/idea. However, phrasing in accordance to chord progression is important too.
Hey, Claus. Do you think the Ingenium course would help me with pick depth consistency?
If you do the exercises in there with an intense focus on picking depth it will definitely work.
@@guitarmastery Thanks. I’m excited to get to it. It looks like a great course, and you did a wonderful job presenting in the videos.
that Jam'in site has some really good jams.. !
The way you did is.
Can't wait to get into this material one day!
On the website, it says, "Sold Out." Any details on when the course will be available, pricing, etc?
I am ur fan sir... Am from india..portblair Andaman Nicobar islands..
The Key is the most important thing.
Love that guitar. What is it? Thanks!
Brother is your rhythm course full in the guitar learning revolution course!? I always had this fear us a guitarist that i am not the musical talent that had the rhythm in this veins!! If i could master that I would be so much more confident about playing music and song 100% correctly. Thank you very much for the insights please if you could answer i would appreciate.
You can take that part of the course very far with what's in there.
@@guitarmastery I bought your program guitar revolution 2.0 yesterday i will right you my thoughts when i finish it i hope it will make me better player.
Impressive forearm gains bro! ;D
Thanks. They are becomming a distraction to the point of the videos. I'm going to go with long sleeves shirts in the future! :)
@@guitarmastery Obviously it was a bit of a joke, but every comment counts for the algorithm ;) I really appreciate your lessons, thanks! :)
Nice lesson. Thank you! I think your guitar lost its headstock.
Please please please make a forth tuning channel!!!
