Love your videos. I’ve been feeling in a funk now that the season is coming to an end. Your videos have inspired me to push forward, take bigger jobs, be uncomfortable in growth. I want to, one day, be at the level you are at. And I know you will grow more. I enjoy doing this work, it’s fun and rewarding . Great video. What do you think of the party tents direct 20x20 marquee tent on Amazon for 1k? It looks like they use poles in the middle instead of cables.
Great video. One comment(question) I do mostly pole tents. I have never seen anyone run stakes at the pole base. Cancyou send me a picture of the base to see the bracket? . Also wondering the brand. Thanks lee
@@randyhamilton6567 Hey Randy. The tents are from Warner Shelter Systems. The side poles are similar to marquee tent poles, featuring two stake holes on each foot. I drive the stakes in at a slight 5-degree angle to allow the jackhammer cup to push them fully into the ground. For the 40x80 tent shown in this video, I initially thought it wasn’t necessary to stake the legs. However, one day after installation, the ratchets slipped on the lace lines. This caused the tent to shift, pulling too far in one direction. I had to return, loosen the tent, and reposition the side poles to correct it. At the top of each side pole, there’s a threaded tip with a washer, securing the pole so it can’t detach from the tent top without removing the washer. These tents come with a lot of fail-safes to ensure stability. I’ll try to find some photos for reference.
The 10x10 popups go out less frequently but if you have lots of them big commuters tent to rent all of them. 24 of my 10x10’s consisted inside 1 single order. (For a movie set).

Lee, I’m curious how you transport the concrete blocks for anchoring the tents.. do you use a separate vehicle other than the cargo van?

People own them already. But once you get lots of them people never own multiples and will rent them in bulk.

I want it but have a jackhammer for the skid steer on my radar for next year.
I've had both the Atlas Copco and Milwaukee. I liked the Milwaukee a lot better
