    This mic is like a superpower the way it works through all tests, especially distance! 🎙💥 Well it failed the magnet test, but overall you gave a lot of reasons why this mic is a winner 🏆

    Great job with the review. I have the rode wireless go ll which are costly but what it does can save you from ruined audio so it's something I felt was worth it. Id love to see you do future tech reviews!

    Re: the easily scratched screen. I noticed the same on mine - until I realized that there is a thin, soft plastic film on top of the screen, probably to protect it during shipping. After removing that, I found the screen to be of typical durability.

      yep

      @violian5 Год назад

      Yep - Godox's products have a very thin film on their screens. At first, it looks like the screen because the film is cut exactly to same dimension as permanent screen. They're also super hard to peel off, so you may mistake the film as the actual screen.

    Thank you for this review! More than what I expected for a budget mic but the way it didn't catch the fan noise was 😍😍😍
    Oh, I love black holes too 💕

    I think like most Godox units they come from factory with a thin screen film that you can peel off before use. Have you tried peeling it off?

    • @Kimbuucha
      @Kimbuucha  3 года назад

      Good suggestion. I checked and there didn't appear to be any film on it. Not unless my fingernails are too thick to peel it up 😂

    Love the B roll and how you talk...Super fluent free style! Curious, what camera you record with and that lens....Is it a 1.4 - 1.8 lens?

    • @Kimbuucha
      @Kimbuucha  3 года назад +2

      Thanks so much Ash. This was a little different for me so I wasn't sure how it came across :p
      I used a Sony A6400 and the majority of this was filmed with a Sigma 16MM 1.8 but some of the B-roll was the Sigma 35MM 1.8

    3:59 It looks like they have a protective film over the screen. Use your fingernails to lift that on the edge and pull it off. I could be wrong, but that's what it looks like. You should be able to remove that protective film just by picking at it a little with your fingernails. Anyway, worth a try. I bet that's what it is :)

  • @ecdledvtraining

    I think the screen has got a protector on it. i will try to remove it from mine and will tell you

    i'm going to be honest i liked the mic used on the leif review more than this one

    • @Kimbuucha
      @Kimbuucha  2 года назад +1

      Yea honestly I only use this mic if I’m far away from the camera or need to move around. That mic in the Leif video was a shotgun mic but I placed it really close. That’s the secret to using those by the way 😜

  • @ConsistentAsh

  • @GQLewis

    There seems to be a sync issue between your audio and your video. Is that a Sony issue?

  • @dleblanc
    @dleblanc 2 года назад

    8 transmitters and receivers means that you can have up to 8 transmitters and receivers. You can't use multiple transmitters with one receiver. The reason they share this is if you need to capture audio from several people on the same video or in the same room. You want to make sure that you're not going to get interference.

  • @StickOnHair

    You didnt mention any of the sockets. At all. This system seems to have a headphone jack which is essential for IEM applications. Rode Wireless Go 2 and DJI mic dont have this. Also, once again, your review mentions the use of this mic for filming purposes only and completely ignores use for the music industry or other uses.

    • @Kimbuucha
      @Kimbuucha  2 года назад

      True but I also am not experienced in using it for the music industry or podcasting for example, hence why I didn’t touch on those points. I also explicitly mentioned how I would not be comparing it to other microphones since I didn’t have them available to compare. Perhaps there is another channel that’s better equipped to talk about those use cases? Or perhaps that’s an video you could make?
