    Hey! Thought your video and content were great, clear, and easy to follow. Just a little thing that I think would make this even better is if your links in your description were click-able. On mobile devices I would have to flip between apps to type out your links. I think that would get you significant higher traffic to your etsy and social pages. Keep up the good hustle! I think your content is amazing.

      Thanks for the feedback! I’ll have to try to figure out if that’s something RUclips allows!

    I thank you for your simple design for the mittens. I tried making the mittens according to your tutorial. It unfortunately was overwhelming to me. I ended up figuring out another way as to how to sew them together.
    Using the outer fabric and lining right sides together, Sew 1/4" across the top. Flip right sides out folding on the seam line. Then sew a straight line across at 3/8" to create a channel for the elastic. Lay two of these face up. From the right side, guide the elastic through using the safety pin. Tac down the end when the elastic is at the end! Continue pushing the elastic through the other one and tac that end down! With right sides together, Sew all the way around using 3/8". Trim excess material without cutting the threads. Turn right side out. Ta-Da

      @@AlohaSewingCompany Thanks, those measurement lines on the plate are extremely helpful especially for a beginner, mine doesn’t have that

    just curious why you wouldn't sew the elastic together instead of tying it in a knot...???

    • @pyrodude1669
      @pyrodude1669 Месяц назад

      So my guess is that when under constant pressure stitches can come undone. When the elastic is being pulled the stitches are stressed and can snap, a knit might be a little bulky but it'll hold up better.
