It is a facelift, but quite a heavy one. Not just a redesigned front end, there’s an all new dash/interior and a raft of detail changes, key, door handles etc. Given the recent convention for jumping 2 numbers, going from 11 to 12 for this (as they used to do in the 1960’s for this type of update) feels about right. Shame no option for AML’s own V12, but there’s little point in a thirstier, heavier V12 option in the base/launch car when it is already up to 680ps using the Mercedes V8.
Indeed. But look out for a new ‘Vanquish’ in 2025 (maybe) featuring the AE31 5.2 V12, with bigger turbos. If given a similar specific output to the Merc 4.0 in the 707, we could maybe see a bonkers 900hp carbon-clad version of this thing… 😊

New face, same rear and side profile. They should have redesigned the whole car, this looks more like a facelift.
The front looks like the facelifted Mercedes AMG GT, I swear
