my 2002 Corolla is also very silent, because I'm 79 and almost deaf
If you buy a new toyota with e-cvt you'll be able to hear again.
You must be an American, poor you.
@@stringer-ik1pc WRONG ! sunshine
😂
@@stringer-ik1pc I live about 8000kms from USA so not poor me
The absence of wind and road noise is impressive!
What a beautiful car ....... the loudest thing is the indicator.....
I think the loudest thing is that blue interior!
The old slogan was: "At 100 mph all you can hear is the clock ticking" Nothing's changed!
That’s easy, just install a very loud clock.
@@dmrr7739 Which is exactly what the older cars had.
It's so rare that a video of a car driving on the Autobahn requires you to put on your headphones and turn up the volume. The lack of wind and road noise is the most impressive part of this video. Kudos!
What I liked the most about this video is how polite German drivers are. If only people were this courteous in America...
I have experienced the same thing but I use the word "stupid" to describe it.
Germans excel at it.
It won’t be that way much longer. The Germans are being replaced.
And Australia
They weren't so polite during WW2
@@stringer-ik1pc Was the US?
The turn signal should be Daniel Craig’s voice saying “tick, tick, tick”.
Is going so fast it does not look and feel it. Thats amazing
"The Sound of Silence". I've seen this film before!
That is an impressively quiet car. ❤
What a magnificent car!
Stunning. I loved the silence and luxury. Its so important to stay in the right lane in Germany. The high-speed supercars fly by at 100 kmph faster than your speed.
Indeed, but they watch out. If there is a foreigner they keep a foot over the breaks, being used to stupid behaviors …Otherwise, it’s just fun and all Germans know that the small spot in the mirror could be a Porsche at 250km/h which will grow quickly. Excellent way to feel good, better than any medics…
@@meersonne83 What kind of stupid behaviours are you speaking about? All the collisions I witnessed while there for 10 years were "D" plated vehicles.
I am disappointed in the indicator sound
What about that childish spaceship sound? And the annoying flashing red LED's!
@@Erwt64The LEDs are flashing because they strobe imperceptibly to the naked eye. However, the frame-rate of the camera makes them look as though they're switching on and off.
Weird indeed. Sounds like an impatient diner tapping his side plate whist waiting for food.
@@Erwt64 LEDs are most likely infrared (face highlighting for drowsiness detection probably) and invisible to the human eye, but camera picks them up
Beautiful, poetry in motion.
I love this car. Beautiful interior.
I'm not particularly an RR guy, but that RR Spectre is some machine - WOW!!!!!!!
You made an amazing job guys, this car embraces all the elegance that modern days RR should have
Nice and quiet! Love It! Loud does not make things better.
The sound generation for acceleration is interstellar
That blue interior tho🫐
Hello from Canada - Thank you for the realistic experience!
Wonderful car thanks for sharing. Listening with headphones here, the sound of the power coming on is addictive! I would not want that silenced!
Courtesy reference point: 100 kmph = 62mph
People just move out the way that’s dope 😂
autobahn rules, you are required to give way to faster traffic!
its normal.
How to say you're american without saying you're american. In Europe you have to drive on the most right lane. You get a ticket otherwise. That's a great rule
they will move even if you drive a trabant 601 as long as you ARE FASTER
@@gaza1881 I mean that's the law in USA too, people just ignore it, including the cops.
might make it more watchable if we knew how fast he’s going
The lack of road noise at 140 mph is simply amazing.Rolls Royce outdid themselves on this one, all that power and silent too.Kudos to their engineers!
Wow back to the 1970 looks so beautiful and aged
Love the unique interior
I’m guessing all the drama and excitement and sharp intakes of breath took place in the sales office?
Takes me back to that beer advert: “If Carlsberg made cars…”
You can tell it was recorded in Germany; I mean, nowhere in the whole of the British Isles would you see someone easily slide into a slower lane so you can overtake.
Impressive video of a really impressive car.
just amazing
sehr schönes Auto.
It drives sweetly 🎉🎉🎉🎉
I miss driving in Germany
I retired there.
Perfection with beautiful interior
I own a hybrid. Burns both gas and rubber!
Beautiful car- inside and out 👍👍
The indicator noise is probably a digital audio version of a 20 euro relay😅
For which RR charges at least 300 euros 🤣
@@JC130676 And wait six weeks for the part.
I was expecting some serious high speed driving here. But what a beautiful piece of engineering.
What’s the continuous flashing lights each side of the wheel they flash even when he’s not indicating?
Thats the infrared LED's for the drowsiness monitoring system, you can't see them in real life as they fall outside a humans visual wavelength range. It just happens that most cameras do actually pick up that wavelength too if they dont' have an infrared filter on them.
I thought they were lane departure warnings - the car being so wide that even the slightest movement off-centre prompts the car to warn you that you're a little close to the white line on that side of the road!
The blinking lights in the dashboard are extremely unsat.
The turning signals noise sounds very expensive
I bet you can change it as well. The relays are no longer on the stalk, that sound comes out of a speaker.
Can you make a video at night too?
No because can’t use lites as drains battery
A luxury magic carpet!❤
Magnifique voiture
Go to garage
Indicator sound is louder than the engine sound, beautiful car!!!
because there is no engine..
What's for the flashing lights on your dashboard that would drive me crazy
They're infrared, you can't see them IRL. Think it has to do with monitoring the driver, some cars detect you falling asleep
@@peterwood2633 No: lane-warning, either driving a little to far to the right or left. This car is almost to wide for these roads...
Do they actually blink like that, or is that the video?
@@uliwidmaier5192 It's the camera picking up IR that the human eye would not. Those red flashing lights aren't visible to vehicle passengers/driver.
Magnifique Voyage dans votre nouvelle Rolls Royce et l'intérieur Bleu est superbe 🤩 bien meilleure que tout les intérieurs noir sans vie 😢
Interesting car exterior and interior design. It's modern and classic at the very same time. Is it actually comfortable to use doors that open backward?
What is them lights flickering left and right lower side of dashboard?
I couldn't help but notice how metallic the indicators sounded.
Oh wow! What a machine.
Wow, never heard a car so wonderful silent like this! Awesome :)
Я на своей камри XV30 тоже 219 км.ч. ездил. Тоже тихо.
Thank you nice round 💮
The sounds composed by Hans Zimmerman … noice !
This fine automobile is like a whole other World within it's self!!! "Needs one more extra" The Magical Jazzy Pop Music 0f Ms. Angelina Jordan...
What is the range when you driving 250 ? 50 kilometers ?
Love
U got a crisp packet under your brake pedal bro!? Sounds crunchy
Is it just me or was that the quickest auto drive door lock?
That interior colour reminds me of the cockpit interior of a Russian Mig 29!
I like it! Something different than the boring beige, gray, and black that have become way too common.
Very nice, although I am surprised there isn’t a dedicated place to put the “key”
Spooky, but very interesting car..
I'm not sure about the interior colour, but listen to how quiet it is at speed
yepp,,,miss the "!!sing" from a novitec....but serious big boy car here,,so comfy
Respect..
This is what you want in a Rolls. Quietness combined with effortless performance.
Incroyable
How much range did you get out of it?
About 100 miles with this kind of driving.
I feel like Beethoven listening to the ninth symphony 🤣
Wow! I want one!
Silence on a complete new level!
I need this car
That door opening with the hinges directed on the other side then usual is soooo much safer for bycyclists!
And it is a beautifull car as well and it drives like over a dream. But that door.
Great!!!!
Seriously? 😂
They call them suicide doors, don't ask me why.
@@Xaver-dh8nhThe Wikipedia article on suicide doors sounds plausible, if you've read that.
what’s with the blue interior??!!
Those red flashing LEDs would annoy the **** out of me.
hope the interior looks better in person
In the UK on the road price is a measly £330,000, oh I'll take two.
Could you hear the fuel tank emptying when you accelerated?
It is an EV.
you can see RANGE melting very fast...
You wouldn't worry about the fuel cost (Whatever type!) if you could afford a new roller!?!
Very much appreciated the commentary free video. The experience is uncluttered by often annoying opinion makers. Thanks for the class act.
Forest Gump?
What are the flashing pink lights either side of the display ?
I found those distracting and irritating. Lane assist maybe?
IR light used to check where your eyes are looking (for safety). Only shows on camera, the light is not visible to human eyes.
Impressive “motorcar” as they are wont to say in the UK. What struck me as viewer was the blind confidence folks have when rocketing down the Autobahn… I kept thinking how one false move could send everyone flying.
This car is so wide that the lane-warning lights are flashing constantly either left or right. Very distracting
I like the blue leather
When you can afford anything you want and choose smurf blue interior
Nice car but THE ROADS ARE AMAZING!!! There are no roads that nice in the US.
Yes I'd like to see how it deals with the potholes on UK motorways
Roadways here in Texas are as good or better than there.
You are joking, roads in USA are fantastic
@@marcrob100you would not notice them
Yeah, wow.
❤❤😍😍🔥🔥
Goodness ~ 110km/h in this car seems like it is standing still! ~ and NO engine noise.
If you want to push to extreme speeds choose a very early Sunday morning.
Nobody talking about those flashing lane assist lights on the dash? 😵💫
They are awful.
Are you talking about the purple dots? Those are not lights, but (attention assist) IR sensors. Visible to cameras, but _not_ visible to the human eye.
Just like the IR on a TV remote. Invisible to the naked eye, but aim your cell phone camera at them and you should be able to see them.
@@bob808Why are they put there?
Those would drive me nuts!
Мне понравилось, что автор выдерживает безопасную дистанцию если встает за кем-либо.
The turn Signal sounds like its from Ali Express
A video game, just like being in a video game …. 😋
Rollers used to have class.
Now, like Bentley, they seem to be designed to please footballers...
What is the annoying blinking light going right and left in the cluster?
Infrared lights keeping an eye on the driver. Wouldn't be visible to the naked eye.
@@randompete2204 Hmm .. can they be turned off even if you can’t see them?
@@JACB006 loads of things have infrared lights on them now.
Most smartphones have them to aid face recognition in low light conditions. You can't see them either, so why the need to turn them off?
@@randompete2204 The march of the “bionic bore”, every year something else is added in the name of progress, all without an on/off switch. The designers think that what we want is self driving cars, that is not the case … I still enjoy driving myself, so like a radio has an on/off switch, can we please have an option to turn all these cleaver new devices on and off manually.
Those redlights blinking were dangerous
I think the camera shutter speed is doing that.
Those are infrared LED's that are used as part of the cars drowsiness monitoring system. They're completely invisible to the human eye as its outside of the visual wavelengths of light. The only reason the camera can pick it up is because a camera's sensor normally does pick up a little bit of infrared too. Professional DSLR's get around this by having an infrared filter in or over the lens, but in smaller devices like go-pros or phones filter are almost always not installed. This is also why a fire might look like it has a bit of purplish hue when you take a picture of it with your phone/
What are the three pink lights on the dash that keep blinking... left and right?
Yeah, what are those lights?
IR driver monitors. Only on camera, cannot see with human eye.
