I used a semblance of this army in my campaign and it was unbeatable, until I ran into endgame-Imrik whose army had a 60% fire resistance and a buttload of phoenixes and dragons. Put me in my place.
With Chaos Dwarves I go 4 destroyers as my front line, 5 Fireglaives checkerboards behind that, a bullcentaur unit and blunderbuss unit on the Flanks which I pull out behind and flank units that get into melee with the destroyers, 2 Demon Quake mortars, a hashut mage, overseer, 2 castellans and centaur hero, all pretty much how you do it. I use my mage to draw units in and the rest wait. I use my destroyers as a front line because they don't block the firearms of the units behind. Good showcase.
I use 3 ironsworn, 4-5glaives, 2-3 blunderbuss, 3 mortars. Then have 2 heroes and your lord sit out front. That way the ranged units and, more importantly, the mortars can rarget on top of the lord and 2 heros
I use nothing but dread quake mortars, fireglaves, and kdaai demons and, granted I’m on my first playthrough of the chaos dwarfs and loving how op they are
Did someone give you Thair game save, because you really struggle to use it. that K'Daii destroyer is misplaced in this army. would swap that for a mortar
I like the comp idea but your formation was messy and this wasn't a very good map to use as example. I would have done chevrons on front lines with the war machines and destroyer at the spearheads.
Pick Hag Graef - turn 1 attack the capital and let malus solo it. Keep Hag Graef for the trait & mass expansion. Attack the minor port with your ark (income, slaves) and sell it to Daniel for money and a non aggression pact. Keep moving west with malus and your arc. Kill everyone you encounter. Once malus hits lv 20 he is a one man doomstack. Turn 40 you have conquered the entire northern waste and Naggarond

" *DRAGON* *DRAGON* *DRAGON* "

I found that 2 dreadquake mortar train usually enough to wipe most armies themselfs, unless they have lot of SEM or monstrous infantry.
K'Daii destroyer is just here for the show, you forgot to use him ^^
Wasn't applicable to this battle. You dont have to use every unit. In this instance he was an arrow magnet

"i hav not been able to find my beautiful death" lol
Your lords should be on foot. They are far too big targets when mounted.
I use 15 K'Dai Destroyers with heroes, it stomps anything it faces

could you do a dark elf start perhaps now that they're much stronger?
