Would have been better i think if you used the ice sheet to slow them down and blizzard to damage them from afar. Putting the lords out front to get them to move into firing range wasn't necessary as little grom firing massive cannon balls directly into their lines will also make them move pretty sharpish and they outrange the norscan troops giving you more initial time to strategise.

A little tip if you don't know, you can sell your settlements to nearby factions for money. The Ai factions really value Settlements with military buildings an average tier 1 settlement with one tier 1 military building sells for 4k+ gold! Settlements with higher tier military buildings sell for even more this mechanic is so op that it can even be considered an exploit (which usually gets removed) Its also a quick way to secure military alliances, vassalize factions, peace treaties, get other factions to join your wars and make quick money if you go bankrupt. In one of my past Skarbrand Campaigns I used this mechanic to Vassalize Malekieth and Valkia to take on the High elves because as you know, you can't field alot of armies when you're playing as khorne.

Hey! Love the longer episode. However, please confirm you DO know that you can initiate diplomacy with a faction by double-clicking any of their settlements or armies, and you PREFER to scroll through the diplomacy menu. This little thing is driving me up a wall. Cheers!

you can get ultimate victory on turn 8 with skarbrand (maybe even sooner) without exploits so you just milking content

Have you tried having a second very small army behind skarbrand? You can just loot money with skar then next turn you occupy if its a main settlement or smash it if its small

Galbaraz is the only other settlement in the area with a khorne landmark. after you conquer it you should probably start marching to ulthuan.

With Chaos Dwarves I go 4 destroyers as my front line, 5 Fireglaives checkerboards behind that, a bullcentaur unit and blunderbuss unit on the Flanks which I pull out behind and flank units that get into melee with the destroyers, 2 Demon Quake mortars, a hashut mage, overseer, 2 castellans and centaur hero, all pretty much how you do it. I use my mage to draw units in and the rest wait. I use my destroyers as a front line because they don't block the firearms of the units behind. Good showcase.

The first time playing skaven is not understanding what to do with an army worse than tomb kings in early(apart money), some playthroughs later you max the weapon teams and protect them with your utmost power in every battle, and then after all that you understand how your faction works and use every single unit as a disposable pawn using your own weapon teams to make the other weapon teams able to shoot-kill things-things.

I use nothing but dread quake mortars, fireglaves, and kdaai demons and, granted I’m on my first playthrough of the chaos dwarfs and loving how op they are

i was just capturing chaosits then capturing vilitch with 2 stacks of mostly orc labour who do armor pircing dmg + ambushes and then im in corner of map just can do what i want while running 3-4 convoys

Interesting strat, but you'd be better off spending all that money on 20 stacks of slaves and just using the tempo to conquer more territory. You've got about 30% less than I'd expect by turn 70.

How do you use this type of army in sieges?

I like the idea, very Tzeentchian. Personally I am somewhat *fond of* the Southern Wastes as they include many resource buildings.

I know a good strategy is to rush Teclis from turn 1 and kill him first. It worked out for me even though the first few battles were pretty difficult. I'm certainly going to try it this way seems less stressful and more natural

Your level is going to be tanked doing all this travel, you will eventually go to war with some formidable empires in Cathay but 15 turns behind where you would be with Lokhir Fellheart, Snickers or Zhatan the Black. Why invade Lustria? You can just focus on the Southlands and wait to invade Lustria until turn 80. Get a hero to scout for incoming armies for Lustria if you want to be paranoid.

What about going north east and relocating the island province owned by a minor high elf faction (Tor Elasor I think)?

Good timing, I was also trying to get a new strat for Kairos as I really enjoy replaying his early game and optimizing it. He just has a lot of options thanks to the Tzeentch-fuckery he has access to.
