Strongest Start for Zhatan The Black

- Zhatan the Black is perhaps the easiest faction in the chaos dwarf race pack that came with the Forge of the Chaos Dwarfs DLC along side update 3.0. What if I told you that you can go full hard mode on this one instead of taking the cushy start that is handed to you. This is what I have determined to be the strongest start.

Small point about Zhtan, do what you can to avoid doubling back. You can waste a huge amount of turns and momentum running back and forth in the chaos wastes up there.

i was just capturing chaosits then capturing vilitch with 2 stacks of mostly orc labour who do armor pircing dmg + ambushes and then im in corner of map just can do what i want while running 3-4 convoys
I love your other channel and I always felt that your voice on this one was familiar. Youre definitely a great content creator and it shows through your success on an alternate channel with completley separate worlds in terms of video subjects.
What's that other channel's name is though? Just curious.

Also taking North of cathay is good option. You can make military pass agreement with green cathay faction and you have free access to land of grand cathay . When you defeat both legendary lords of cathay you will gain good amount of melee defence. But you also reqruit new full armies to be climb up world ranking so grimgor won’t decleare war on you early. Also you probably have to deal with Lokhir. I played like that and it was really strong start
On the new patch, I tried this method and on turn 4 instead of attacking the Greenskins, Kholek (who I had gotten a military access + trade with) decided to forcemarch through my territory to some unknown destination. Bizarre, kinda ruined the strat

Tried this, the orcs stayed by their settlement with no intervention from kolek. Also when carravans unlocked I had no resources to use them. RNG perhaps but certainly not a good start for me.
