For anyone out there looking for some heat, I strongly recommend N'kari. I've played this game for a long time and N'kari caught me completely by surprise with how fun he is. I rarely go to deep on diplomacy but I'm running a N'kari one man doomstack (crown + sword) on legendary and I'm having such a blast with vassals. I control about 1/4 the map due to vassals by turn 50 and out of that territory I personally only own 4 settlements total. My starting province to spew out armies and Kislev for a temporary second base, even so through N'karis mechanic and a mass amount of vassals I'm making 10k with 4 paid armies and 8 Devotee stacks (armier summoned that costs devotees that doesn't increase supply lines). There's some spicy tech at work here #1 the proliferate cult button creates 3 random cults across the map, cults from where you can teleport N'kari to for the low cost of 200 devotees, letting you farm battles, capture key settlements and or any defeat traits you want in addition to letting you go wherever you please. #2 You can force vassalize factions by taking their last settlement or revive dead factions by taking their capital, but even better some capitals are worth enough through deplomacy to where you can often vassalize anyone neighboring one if you trade it to them, among other things I vassalized Count Noctilus by trading Lothern, Durthu by giving him Reikland and Azhag by trading him Castle Drakenhof. I'm currently able to recruit 4 units per army from an insanely vast variation of units through my allies. PRO TIP: If you can't trade someone (in my case Durthu) a major settlement to vassilize them just conquer and gift a small settlement that borders the province you wanna give away and boom you can now vassalize them. There is also a "cancel vassal" button on the diplomacy screen letting you do some funky stuff (I had to gift the shrine of Kayn and then fight my Dark elf faction vassal because I forgot that only elven factions can draw the sword) #3 Above all Slaneesh let's you play a different type of campaign where you wargame your allies around the map to do your bidding while you're off doing whatever it is you want. Feels like an entirely different game, where you tell your vast empire what to do and at the end turn screen you just watch the world burn.
Currently playing a vlad campaign, despite some people saying that vampire counts are boring i'm having fun. I just like grinding the enemy down then revive half of the army afterwards. And if there is a lesson that this campaign is teaching me is accepting some losses, winning 100% of the times can become boring.
While finishing battles with zero losses is very satisying, you may be shooting yourself in the foot doing it because of the Raise Dead mechanic. Also, by gaining pyrrhic victories you can increase the HP of your lords by (iirc) up to 20% which in turn makes healing them stronger per cast.

There's something about a Kairos campaign that is just all around nice. You secure the home front, you move on to kick Teclis off your doorstep, and then you turn up the WOM. Expand a little. Turn up the WOM. Run into Krog Gar and when he declares war on you, you say.... Not today. Today you are my friendly neighbor, you silly lizard. No off you go. There's some tasty dwarf up in that direction! And then your settlements reach high tier, your income gets really good, and you start having all the heroes. Suddenly Kairos finds an urgent need to go on a quick little trip to Lizardville, find a lost Cathayan fellow and give him a friendly pat on the back. Bonk! And you've got 200% spell intensity and crazy cheap magic. It just spirals out of control in such a nice and pleasant way. I suspect it's much the same with Gelt at this point but I don't have as much experience there.
Started a khazrak campaign bc of your advice on legendary iron man and having a blast! Got short victory turn 44 and am going for long! Thanks for the recommendation I’ve never played him, buffing armies of herds with some cygors is surprisingly strong
Recently started a clan Eshin campaign and I didn't think I'd enjoy them as much as I did. All Eshin units are provided with substantial buffs, and their shadowy dealings can really help you get an upper hand on your enemies. You might have a rough start due to the fact that there's not a lot of pasture buildings, and you're surrounded on all sides by Cathay, but overall it's a great challenge and a very enjoyable campaign
Tamurkhan is awesome. I was having a blast with his campaign until I played with mods a bit too much and ended up getting an unsolvable crash after ending my turn. I tried for hours to salvage it but could not get it to work, and eventually just moved on to a Settra campaign, which is also super fun, luckily.. But seriously, Nurgle has such a cool playstyle already and Tamurkhan plays to the race's extremely well. There's a great mod called Tamurkhan's Uglies that makes the lore-based chieftains more accurate, and adds a chaos dwarf chief, beastman chief etc along with some of their units which helps diversify the roster quite a bit. Having plagued and green Chaos Dwarf Blunderbussers blasting into a wave of Exalted Plaguebearers who just tank and regen all the damage is hilarious.

>Khazrak has fairly easy start >first enemy is WOOD ELVES who are extremely fun to fight against (NO) >at war with Karl Franz from turn 1 Is this a trolling? As the beastmen I'd recommend to pick Malagor. He can easily make a stack of heroes each with "stench of Nurgle" trait which reduces enemy leadership. It's hilarious when your stinky army instantly terror routing everyone. Not even speaking he's a literal flying goat.
There are so many good campaigns, it's really hard to decide which are the best ones. I just don't like to play Lizardmen, Norsca, Vampire Pirates and Tzeentch, everything else is fine.
Might be an unpopular opinion but I actually find Azazel to be the most fun out of the Warriors of Chaos guys... Sure, the roster is considerably more limited, but I just quite enjoy the change-up in playstyle. The focus on subjugating and turning other factions to chaos, collecting huge numbers of vassals, makes them by far the most unique in game mechanics. There is N'kari with similar mechanics of course, but Azazel seems more focused on it (or maybe it just feels that way with the Dark Fortress mechanic idk) and I just like playing Warriors of Chaos more than Daemons of Chaos.
Prohably because he actually feels focused on it. Nkaris diplo buffs are more a matter of stalling for time, whereas with Azazel i stand a much better chance of actually corrupting mortal factions. It is hard though and im still waiting for vassals to be improvedn
Turn off Aversion, play as Mod Cataphs ship mod (high eleves), ally with all other eleves (dark eleves and wood eleves) and kill everyone else! You will be able to confederate(mod) Dark eleves ships and you will have massive amounts of ship fire power on battlefields a total of 10 different bombing skills alone from ships and can summon shadow warriors(from another high eleves mod horde)! I also had item fusion mod on and I fused into having +100 diplomatic so everyone was my friend and I could start my wars at will
I thought it over and well I like most of the factions you talked about it's just the only factions I don't like are the human factions the elf factions and the dwarf factions except for the chaos dwarves they get a pass and probably not the tomb Kings either but everything else I like basically as long as they're not human related or dwarf except for cast dwarves or elves I like them, one thing I know for certain I love the vampire counts do you think maybe the vampire council good faction as well or wait until another DLC comes out for them?
Well, they are definitely strong, and I do find them really enjoyable, especially if you zombie spam with them, but if you should wait for them to get a dlc I can't really say. I would advise to give them a go, as they can be really fun to play.
@@CultistOfkhorne very well then I guess the only last thing I have to figure out is how to Confederate all the other vampire count legendary Lords, also this may sound a little corny but vampire counts to me are the ultimate Halloween holiday faction if you know what I mean 🎃 Yes is there a discord channel of yours and if there is can I join?

Personnaly . My most lovely faction is Cathay with de Miao Ying. So fun to make a rain of fire on the enemy and destroy castles without entering in or moving anyone. And if sometimes i lost some battles it still was fun for me. Reduce to maximum the number of ennemy for the second army who comme in the second tour. And you ?
Dwarf copters being bad before? I dunno, maybe in multiplayer. Otherwise in tww2 you could curb stomp so much with flying dwarf armies. But yeah, they`re awesome now. Great vid btw
Rakarth? Throt? Beastmen and Bretonnia? Astragoth? Khorne at number 1? I diagnose you with melee blob You like factions that can rush down the enemy and chop them to pieces
Not going to lie I'm not exactly much of a PC player and I actually just recently sold my Xbox series x in order to get the RTX 3080 TI graphics card for Total war Warhammer 3 and I've got all the DLCs except for the new one with the ogre that serves grandfather nergal that turns out to be some kind of warm and I wouldn't mind if you pointers on what faction should I choose that I really have fun with I'm just recently getting back into PC instead of console???
If you have never played any Total War game previously, it is a bit tricky, as you have to get used to the very basics. Probably start with Thorgrim Grudgebearer, Zhao Ming, Tyrion, Gor Rok, Repanse de Lyonesse. These are probably the most basic campaigns there are, which aren't very difficult, and all have a different combat focus to help you learn how to use different units. After you are done with these you can start experimenting with races that have more intricate mechanics, such as with the Skaven, Khorne, Warriors of Chaos etc.. I just wouldn't recommend you start with the Empire, as it is much more difficult than you would expect, and might prove to be a bit too tough if you aren't playing on easy difficulty, but there is always the trial by fire method :D
@@CultistOfkhorne well the one thing I do like is to watch the battles I always thought it was a fan of grandfather miracle but I just like watching those giant fat green demon things fight in the battles but I'll go with whichever you think would be the best for me cuz to make a long story short I like to watch armies fight in battles not really a fan of magic but I can sometimes adapt but whatever you think would best fit my play style will go with.
Oh, I thought you might want to ease your way into it first and learn the basics first, but if you just want to play for spectacle, then you can pretty much just go which ever faction you want. Some of the most popular factions with giant monster would be: Taurox, Throt, Skarbrand, Grom, Be'lakor, Kholek, Imrik, N'kari, Throg, any lizardmen faction, Rakarth and a few more. With most of theses you don't have to use magic at all if you don't want to, but if you want to learn how to play the game I would still suggest the first ones I gave you.
@@Omertahun Then I'll definitely do that man and thank you for the information PS if you're looking for videos where you just want to look at the Battle itself and see what it looks like try monsters abound on RUclips trust me you won't regret it in fact it's because of him I became a fan of the beastmen, and honestly I thought he was a fan of Narnia because the beastmen looked just like the minotaurs and Narnia, PSS now I'm wondering if there's going to be a total war Narnia???

By the way I'm actually glad you didn't do anything about the greenskins yet especially since their DLC is literally on the horizon, but the win the green skins finally get their DLC released which it is coming out this month what you do a video on what legendary lord of the green skins would be the most fun campaign to choose, honestly I thought the great green prophet would be the best one but now that I know there's a new legendary Lord coming to the greenskins maybe not but anyway what do you think???@@CultistOfkhorne
@@auramoonlight6978 I mean, my favorite greenskin is Skarsnik, but I think that Grom will probably be the most enjoyable campaign if you don't play greenskins in general, and I am a bit curious as to what they will do for the upcoming greenskin lord.
Not really sure what you mean by auto resolve simulator, but Grom is pretty far away from any dwarf faction, and soon Wurrzag will be as well. So you can play them if you don't want to fight dwarfs.
Beastmen would have been a pick I could have agreed with, if their AI wasn't so fucking braindead. Like changeling, they feel like auto win factions. Whatever holds you back is how much you hold yourself back. CA clearly designed them with only the player playing them in mind. I do not like that one bit as that removes any semblance of a living world around you.
It's not that I don't enjoy their campaign, but as I said in the beginning there is no strict ranking here. I wasn't doing 1 per race, just the campaigns I find to be most fun, and sadly I don't enjoy Vlad's or Helman's campaigns as much as the ones I have listed here. Don't get me wrong they are fun, very much so, but not as much as these ones for me.
I mean they are a lot better and more enjoyable now, but plagues are still so uninteresting that I just find Warriors of Chaos to be a better experience if I want to play with Nurgle units.
ikit still the fun and funniest. And skarbrand are the worst campain i have ever played. i hate the aggressive gameplay in this game like old greenskin. They never let me have a proper fun. Going around attacking non stop is not even fun. Especially every faction start to attack you.
I mean I'm not a masochist that likes to play only the most difficult campaigns there are, but really, Belegar, Throt, Astrogoth and the Fay are all easy campaigns for you? I get why you think the rest, but these 4 are some of the toughest there is.
Idk why bc he is basic a.f........w.e i play tretch i feel like the game switches to easy mode.....it makes no sense to me! as skaven i normally hit an occasional speedbump here or there. Idk why but whenever i play that cowardly shit i steamroll across the map no problems! Someone make it make sense to me! (Vh/vh) difficulties too
Could be because he starts off fighting against fairly easy opponents to deal with as the Skaven, while most others have a much more difficult time getting their campaigns going.
@CultistOfkhorne my only guess is he is so generic I focus more on other lords lol but yea imrik and the chaos dwarves seem to fall alot easier for me than expected
I found Skarbrand boring yes you can curb stomp your way around the map in quick time but all your fights are the same one dimensional play. I'd rather play Valkia than Skarbrand.

Is this a trolling? As the beastmen I'd recommend to pick Malagor. He can easily make a stack of heroes each with "stench of Nurgle" trait which reduces enemy leadership. It's hilarious when your stinky army instantly terror routing everyone. Not even speaking he's a literal flying goat.
Some really good looking camera shots you got there. Now make an "Most unfun factions to play" video 😈
Not actually a bad idea, but I can already see all the dislikes piling in :(
@@CultistOfkhorne Do it or no balls
no ikit claw makes me basically ignore the rest of this video :(
There are so many good campaigns, it's really hard to decide which are the best ones.
I just don't like to play Lizardmen, Norsca, Vampire Pirates and Tzeentch, everything else is fine.
I really start to need news for 5.3 and the DLC.
Getting dry.. need some new stuff! :D
Ikit Claw hands down is way better than any campaign.
@@CultistOfkhorne very well then I guess the only last thing I have to figure out is how to Confederate all the other vampire count legendary Lords, also this may sound a little corny but vampire counts to me are the ultimate Halloween holiday faction if you know what I mean 🎃
Yes is there a discord channel of yours and if there is can I join?
@@auramoonlight6978 There is a link in the about section of my channel if you want to join the Discord.
@@CultistOfkhornesounds perfect I'll definitely join probably later tonight I haven't used my discord in a while so my profile I might need to update it a bit it'll probably just look like a mountain again, PS monsters abound has a really good RUclips channel where you can see the battles up close it's kind of how I got into Total war Warhammer 3, and this may sound a little strange but I always thought that monsters about was a fan of Narnia you know cuz his profile looks like a Minotaur,
oh great now I'm wondering if there's going to be a total Narnia lol
Nice. Thanks.
Nailed it, you did!
Thanks!
I only clickt because nurgle was in the picture. What a liar.
And you ?
Like I said in the video, Skarbrand with his never ending battles.
My list is VERY different lol, Malakai, Yuan Bo, Elspeth, Changeling, Malus, Imrik, Karl Franz, Wulfrik, Skarbrand, Tzarina Katarin
Dwarf copters being bad before? I dunno, maybe in multiplayer. Otherwise in tww2 you could curb stomp so much with flying dwarf armies. But yeah, they`re awesome now. Great vid btw
Can you make a tips and tricks high elf guide?
Maybe, but I will wait for the Slaanesh dlc to come out in that case, just so It doesn't get outdated instantly.
Snikch enter the Chat
Rakarth? Throt? Beastmen and Bretonnia? Astragoth? Khorne at number 1?
I diagnose you with melee blob
You like factions that can rush down the enemy and chop them to pieces
Definitely get the new DLC my man. Its the best thing that ever happaned to TWWH3
@@Omertahun Then I'll definitely do that man and thank you for the information PS if you're looking for videos where you just want to look at the Battle itself and see what it looks like try monsters abound on RUclips trust me you won't regret it in fact it's because of him I became a fan of the beastmen, and honestly I thought he was a fan of Narnia because the beastmen looked just like the minotaurs and Narnia,
PSS now I'm wondering if there's going to be a total war Narnia???
If you play Belagar, pick the shotgun on the engineer, not the sniper rifle.
Really, why? I always found the shotgun to be a lot less effective.
@@CultistOfkhorne shoot at blobs which those heroes generate, very high kills, plus the ethereal engineer with 20% more health and 15 more armour is way stronger in melee especially if you pick Guardian on one of the thanes
@@CultistOfkhorne you can always add another engineer for ballistics calibration and stalk sniping artillery etc later
I do have one last question I'm actually starting to realize I'm more of a fan of grandfather nurgle so what legendary Lord would you say be the best choice for that particular chaos God and yes I also really like the Giant on clean ones and the giant unclaimed Lords 2 they remind me of dawn of war 2 redemption! 😅
Tamurkhan is probably the best choice for a Nurgle campaign, Epidemius is fine, but just don't play Ku'gath.
Slayers are glass cannons that's why they can die quick... like bloodletters or daemonettes.
Bloodletters and demonettes have armor and physical resistance, while slayers have nothing to protect them, they aren't really the same.
@@CultistOfkhorne you right. 10 armor against 30% projectile resist, i see you chose your side and i understand ;) i like both
No sisters of twilight? What in the actual fuck
Well, I don't like Wood Elves, and my favorite one to play is Drycha :P
I love playing orcs, i just wish they weren't all about killing dwarfs. I think dwarfs are miserable to fight, it becomes auto resolve simulator
Not really sure what you mean by auto resolve simulator, but Grom is pretty far away from any dwarf faction, and soon Wurrzag will be as well. So you can play them if you don't want to fight dwarfs.
Khorne is number one it’s not even close
Beastmen would have been a pick I could have agreed with, if their AI wasn't so fucking braindead. Like changeling, they feel like auto win factions. Whatever holds you back is how much you hold yourself back. CA clearly designed them with only the player playing them in mind. I do not like that one bit as that removes any semblance of a living world around you.
Why no Vlad or Helman, you should explain why these were omitted while u included several of the same race.
KHORNE #1 YOUR WRONG HE SUCKS!!!..........im not good with him i need help with him
I have a few videos on how to play Skarbrand if you are interested, they should cover everything you could need.
@@CultistOfkhorne ok thank you
Throt best skaven! No Nurgle at all tho? 😢
I mean they are a lot better and more enjoyable now, but plagues are still so uninteresting that I just find Warriors of Chaos to be a better experience if I want to play with Nurgle units.
No lizards?
I don't particularly like lizards, only Tahenoin and Oxyotl, but even then not that much.
where is Setra does not serve
I haven't really been enjoying Settra Warhammer 3, he was much more fun in Warhammer 2.
I just want nagash ;_; why cant they just release him
Slayer slander will not be accepted
ikit still the fun and funniest. And skarbrand are the worst campain i have ever played. i hate the aggressive gameplay in this game like old greenskin. They never let me have a proper fun. Going around attacking non stop is not even fun. Especially every faction start to attack you.
What I dont like about Rakarth: The voiceacting. I can only hear Ramsay bolton. nothing else. I cant enjoy the character.
+
All non human factions are invalid choices
Sounds like an "easiest" campaign video
I'd rather play Valkia than Skarbrand.
right?. I want to play my own pace than stomping. No wonder nakai is the only one have horde mode nad do nothing other than stomping. Even beastmen have settlements.
