    So many people treat summoned armies like a limited resource. They’re literally disposable chaff to be thrown at the enemy to whittle down their numbers like the “assault units/garrison” option.
    As for N’kari as long as things are dying around it it’s functionally immortal as well as being _the most mobile lord in the entire game_ if it’s out matched it’s little trouble to just play it like a cavalry unit to take advantage of “devastating flanker” to use it as the hammer to your admittedly limited anvil.
    Once it’s high level it’s not hard to send it into a bunch of melee units and have it cast aoe magic on itself for massive casualties and self healing.
    That’s not even accounting for the fact that your end game army magic is an army wide stamina restoration meaning you can blitz attack with minimal downsides to tackle multiple armies one at a time.

      @baldygrey2779 Год назад +1

      N'kari is my favourite LL at the moment. I group him with cav and after so many levels he's basically an unstoppable killing machine, at least to large groups. He will lose in duels against stout warrior type LLs but as long as I keep him out of those situations, his host has never lost a single battle. It also seems like he can cast spells while charging an enemy which is a great bonus.
      I'm still new to Slaanesh but have a big chunk of the map under my control, and I would love to know how to get as many devotees as this. The cult armies are great reinforcements and even better at policing/defending your areas with high corruption without any type of additional costs.
      Slaanesh's mobile units absolutely destroy in ways I haven't seen other factions do. Very fun.

    Thank you so much for showing me this style of play for Slaanesh! It was honestly a total eye opener for me! I would really love it if you could like a 10-20 turn guide for this faction because I am struggling a lot at the start, mostly with money and people constantly declaring war on me for no reason (Cylostra? Hello?).

    turn 93 with 3k slaanesh corruption, that's so brutal. What difficulty is this? How did you scour the map like this? It took me like 80 turns or so just to take over that whole starting horseshoe island.

    • @theartofsavescumming
      @theartofsavescumming  Год назад +3

      I play on Legendary with Very Hard battles. The only exception being if I am trying to record a turn by turn guide and want to use a rushed auto resolve film so I don't have to drill down 6 hours of video in post. In that case I will use a reduced difficulty for auto resolve battles only; manual battles are still fought on VH. My play style is hyper aggressive. In my opinion, N'kari is setup to be an aggressive campaign because you get free scouts.

      I tend to find nkari guides too tedious and boring. They just have nkari run side to side dodging arrows for 10 minutes before finally engaging with their army. Is it efficient? Yea but it's boring AF to watch or play yourself.
      That's basically all fighting the high elves is when playing nkari.

    Its kind of funny people think slaanesh its bad, then I used it (and yeah his beguining its hard, but you only has to to play it on order and its a completly gg for the game) and end up making a World war with so many armies that I didnt need to command, cause theyre from the IA. Oh do I forgot you kind of make problems with IA allies ty to the seductive influence, how? You use only heroes, expand cults, and then bia commerce send recourses (you give it gold) to the enemy, cause for a reason the game took it like youre making treats and that makes the bar climb. I remenber a game that one random cult that spawn end up on cathay and ty to this strategy, I got complete control over shao ming, and force him to war against miao ying, who kill him, eliminate him and end up to never be confedarated, oh and I slave miao ying like 20 turns later to make her declare war on the oggre kingdoms, taking control on her armies and destroying them on porpouse, then I used my elves slaves to conquer cathay from the oggre xd

    For me it's super uncomfortable to be constantly between -50 and -100 public order, and you NEED to do it in order to maintain the best possible economy.
    If we compare that to Tzeentch, he can get almost as much money as Slaneesh without having to worry about keeping the public order between certain (and low) values.
    I'm not saying it's impossible, it's just tedious...
    Also, I've found a very good use for devotees armies - you put them as garrison armies in cities you get the most money from (you need public order, especially if you use SoK).
    But yeah... whatever I do - playing Slaneesh is tidous for me. edit: oh you've touched on that
