Feel that. What I want to do is watch my rattling gunners shoot stuff. what I SHOULD be doing is setting up the flank against the incoming cav. charge.

Great content! Beastmen chariots are legit too and their other units can take a hit so you can spend more time on chariot micro. Good stuff
Oh, I forgot about the Beastmen chariots, you are right. But for instance, look at the warriors of chaos chariots. Those things suck.

Love it. I haven't really gotten charging so this helps.
Using cavalry units or like wolves is easier and more interesting than this.
Great video but chariots obviously needs macro control all the time and when you fight 2-3 army at once it’s kinda useless in the middle of the fight. Everywhere is a lot of different units and this chariots can’t ride properly. Better solution would be chase those units who broke and run but for this purpose wolves and cavalry better too, because they can make damage when standing and chariots not.
And nkari himself needs to be controlled all the time for better results so one chariot for distraction with few nice crushes and then go to the end of the map imo
Thank you for showing how the chars might work in W3. I tried last year the old TWR2's chariots and could easily get hundreds of light infantry/missiles (in case no heavy spears got in the way). The chars feel much nerfed in TWH. To the point that I couldn't find it worthy of the micro, compared to just taking some demonettes and let these shred the hundreds.

If it's within the scope of what you're wanting to do on this channel I would like to see a similar series such as this one, but with vampire counts.
I plan to dig into VC. I spent most of Warhammer 2 perfecting gameplay for Skaven, High elves, Dark Elves and Beastmen (later). Because of this I have only a passing knowledge of VC and want to explore the faction. Right now I am finding the WH3 races more enticing at the moment. I do plan to go there though.
Hey dude, really dig your videos. However if you allow me the tip, you should really work on your audio setup. The left side of the stereo channel is drastically louder than the right one f.ex., which makes a quite unprofessional impression. Yeah. I had the boom cockeyed during this video and I intended to correct it in post, but I totally failed to do it. Next video I will do a better job on the sound design. Please pop in and let me know what you think
So basically if I want to enjoy the battle don't use chariots.
God I hate excessive micro. You're literally focusing all your attention on a handful of units because they aren't smart enough to just 'keep going'. I would have thought they'd figure out a way to alievate this problem by now (been an issue since forever with Total War games). I want to actually enjoy the spectacle of the battle.
Or just run a few, use them as vanguard until they are tired and hold them in reserve
For you which slanesh chariots are better the hellflayers or the exalted seeker chariot. I ask because the exalted seeker chariot is better in stats but the hellflayers are 4 models meanwhile the exalted chariot is only 1 model. They are two elite chariot but what is better for you?
I prefer the exalted seeker chariot. Because it’s one model it doesn’t get stuck in melee as easily. If you are using a standard 4 chariot unit, you might get 3/4 out but the 4th one that is stuck can draw the whole unit back in and get it killed. ESC is also more massive so unless you get pinned by a monster you are likely to get it out. However, if you are on top of your micro, you can do really good work with the hellflayers.

Don't quote me on this, but I've seen chariots deal damage and get kills while they're pulling out of a fight, which if true would make cyclecharging with them that much better
With the changes in the chorf patch to chariots do you reckon the other options became more viable units for harder difficulties? I typically play Dark Elves on Leg/VH these days but have completely avoided their cav/chariots, wondered if they might be worth a couple per stack now.
