Always start in the back, from crown to nape of neck, as the hair is denser & thicker, requiring more time. Never start any color procedure face front, as that hair is thinner, more fragile, and takes much less time to develop.

I’ve been coloring my hair more and more blonde (correctly but at home.) since the beginning of 2019. I’m finally a light blonde. Now on to platinum and THEN FINALLY SILVER. Wish me luck🤷🏼♀️

Don't use silver or shampoo that deposits color during a color process. You don't want temporary pigments taking the place where you want your toner or color to be pulled into. Just a clarifying shampoo that doesn't leave a lot of deposits is necessary.

Hi there I have a question I have dyed my hair very very light but not Platinum blonde about a week ago, and I wanted it to go silver so..... I'm guess I'm asking can I still do this as u have done in the video or should I let my hair recover for 3 weeks before I follow this routine?
I did this to my hair and it was bleached from a dark brown and it turned orange I didn’t have dyed it metallic gray don’t know yet what I will get wish me luck

May I ask how long the toner stays in your hair?
i have alotttt of hair so how much of each product would i use
I recently just bought both these toners and realized they're both labeled as a permanent toner (which I do nottt want). So I was confused because obviously in all these RUclips videos people say it fades out and you have to take care of it etc. How long would you say it stays in? And when it fades out, does it eventually fade into your original (bleached) hair? (Sorry if this sounds dumb I've never dyed my hair before and just want to be extra cautious)
daniella locatis heya! No question is stupid or dumb :) I find this colour would wash out after maybe 2-3 washes. BUT if I used Fanola no yellow shampoo, it would stay in for longer. If I used regular shampoo, yeah it would fade to my original bleached yellowey shade. Xx
I live in morocco and I think I will never reach this color until I have 2 hairs left

Was your scalp after bleach then applied the toner with 20 volume did not burn? The result is good. Really look silver.
Can I use 30 volume or does it have to be 20?
I really want to go silver but I'm scared it'll become yellow again too quickly. I have to wash my hair frequently (2-3 times a week) and I'm disabled so it takes a lot of energy to go through the process, I wouldn't be able to do any kind of upkeeping more than once every 6-8 weeks. any tips? I've always stuck with colors that don't fade quickly but I wanna try silver sooo bad!! if it helps at all my hair is naturally light blonde but currently a muted pastel blue. if it were a few shades lighter it'd be a silvery blue
Get purple shampoo! Clairol shimmer lights or L’Oréal ever pure are good. They usually come in a purple bottle. You just wash your hair with those, leave the shampoo in for however long the bottle says (longer than you would normally leave shampoo in) and it keeps your hair cool toned in between upkeep :)
You could even get an ombre kind of thing to go longer between touch ups as roots grow in
I have a friend who has been trying to get this Grey color in his hair. He has bleached it numerous times to make sure to get to a white white color just so the Grey will stick and every time he tries for this Grey color his hair turns blue. What is happening and why can't he get the Grey color he's trying so hard for ?

are you able to over-tone hair? My hair is very unevenly lifted so I want to just cover it all in toner but I dont want to kill the parts that are already white.
I use 40 developer to get it to the lightest lift.

Mine us currently that blonde. I got my hair dyed to a silver and then after 5 days it faded and went brassy blonde

Mine started out with a pretty substantial purple root.. I just washed it once or twice with warm water and my hair was where I needed it

The toner will dry out your hair to some extent. But if you give it a good condition when you wash it out it should be okay :) my hair is shiny and healthy looking. Are you based in the UK? Use a semiperminate like titanium from ion
20 vol DOES lift, you want 10 or less to deposit color.
100% correct. Do not use 20, 30 or 40 vol when toning. Also purple does not cancel out orange, blue does

I'm surprised the bleach can penetrate the hair fully, with the coconut oil on it. Does it work as good as it does without the oil? I've always bleached my hair on clean (no products), unwashed hair (usually 2nd day after washing) and it always absolutely destroys my hair! I've heard of people putting on coconut oil prior to bleaching, but I've always thought that the bleach wouldn't work as good. Anyone else done the coconut oil thing?

I have light brown hair, would love to go to silver! I was told it wasn't possible???
It is absolutely possible! Just don't over process and wait at least a week between bleaching treatments. If your hair is already light brown, one good bleach should get it light enough to go in with the toners to achieve the silver. If you need two bleachings, wait at least a week between and be sure to baby your hair with plenty of hydrating masks and conditioner between.

Your hair should also be as dirty as possible when bleaching, so wait a couple days after washing it. Coconut oil also isn't the best when doing it, as it with bleach can help cook your hair instead. If you watch Brad Mondo he has lots of videos on bleaching hair
So use half of each toner? And how much developer
050 isn't a toner, it's an additive. It's meant to be added to a toner, like the T18 or T14. The more 050 you use, the darker the outcome. It's a 1 (toner) to 2 (developer) ratio.
If u use half then u add 1 bottle(for ppl that pour it into the bottle) or the almost 2 oz or 4 oz for the whole bottle(or 2 halves)

Hi. I'm not sure where you live, but in the US I believe we can get it at Sally's Beauty Supply. Look them up online. You could probably order it. :)
I think the end result is very nice! BUT how can you say 20 vol doesn’t damage your hair??? That’s very wrong unfortunately

I just did mine last week used wella bleach and wella t18&& 050 additive and did not get these results ughhh ur so lucky i will keep tryin i did only use 10 developer for the wella toners not 20 like directions say have issues with that bc toners require 10 only developer so confused with wella bc therefore their NOT toners meaning their Color bc using 20 can burn ur head definitely after person bleaches theirs so wella putting "toner" on their box then requiring using 20 dev volume is contradicting to me anyways😮😂🤔📚🫶🏻🤣👍🏻👍🏻
