Thank you for making it clear why some people should not go through the process for white hair. Clients think if it’s on RUclips then I should be able to take their level 3 hair to pure white in a few hours.

Thats totally true! Even every celerity who's went so light either did it over night or spent the whole day at the salon. It's a process it's not sprint to the finish.

OMG your honesty in the first 5 minutes is exactly what I needed to hear. My mind was thinking all those things over the past several years (as this process got more popular) but when I would ask more established stylist, I wasn't getting straight answers I felt. TY, TY, TY!! Oh a retouch video on this would be super helpful. Talking about how much outgrowth is desirable. And when they've waited too long. That seems to be when I struggle.

Great Video clip! Apologies for chiming in, I am interested in your initial thoughts. Have you considered - Millawdon Goodbye Gray Trick (search on google)? I loved the hair applicator trick. Another trick for even application: do a 20 m protein mask before toning. Put hair in turban for 5 m to dry then tone. Of course you can also apply purple mask w applicator brush to really get those roots.

I am naturally a level 6 and I find that if I use 30 vol mids to ends let that process 15mins then start the roots with 20vol let it process 45-50mins then I get clean results. (On my virgin hair of course) level 6 virgin hair can be clean blonde in one session as well just needs to sit slightly longer.

Thanks for the suggestion, appreciate it, only problem I have tiny strands of black replacing the copper strands , my natural color was a chestnut brown , so now , front white , blk, nape pewter, I have tried 9 or 10 O K but tend to pull red , I would go with a coppery red but , too much maintenance , reds fade too much .Think I should shave it ? U do great colors , not everyone gets it . Good teacher , lots of experience. 😊

  • @Mro183

I always went to hairdressers that would put 30 or 40 vol on my hair and I had banding and it would burn, I now do my own using 20vol on level 6 roots and it lifts up to not white but a nice level 9 no damage then I put a Demi foam in it and it goes from yellow to a nice natural creamy blonde. I don’t get why they went so hard on my hair? I went to expensive places too not cheap I also got rid of the banding myself by bleach bathing my ends to lighten them up to the band colour then re bleaching my orange roots then going back through to my actual regrowth. And my hair is great I did this over a month long period. How do I know my hairdresser knows what they r doing any tips? Because I’m not a hairdresser and I do not want to do it myself I just had to and am lucky it worked out but I’d rather pay someone!

Hey Pretty Nena! Question....my hair is pretty similar to how you describe yours! In fact very similar almost identical, But I don’t see a reply here, so was your question answered? If so can you please share it cause I’m thinking of probably doing the same cause I’m blonde now about level 7-8 but cause of quarantine I have not dyed it since February, so roots are at about 1 1/2 inch of regrown and a lot of gray! Thinking of going with my natural gray hair and letting it grow out but would like to do it gracefully if possible! Sorry for such a long explanation, but would appreciate to know if your question was answered! Thank you!
