I think Schwarzkopf has a winner on their hands. A nice subtle effect that would have been great to know about when I had blonde hair! But I'm happy to see what it does with silver and white!

Good morning, gorgeous! My SilverWhite spray arrived yesterday. It is fabulous. Not a touch of yellow left in my hair after the treatment. Thank you so much for the recommendation. I do have a tip for all, white, silver, gray, or blonde haired subscribers. If you are going swimming in the pool or the ocean, soak your hair in a mixture of half conditioner/half water and comb through. It doesn't look pretty but it keeps your hair from absorbing whatever chemicals are in the water or whatever pollen is sitting on top. I do it every time and it works beautifully. I absolutely adore schwartzkoff (sp) products! It's the only hair color that I will use. Their colors, even their reds, seem to last so much longer then any other box brand that I've used. They leave your hair feeling so soft and full of volume. I swear by them.

I use white vinegar added to my shampoo and I leave it on for 5-10 minutes.Then condition it well and rinse. really brightens the silver/white!

I am definitely ordering this! Hopefully my silver gets revived. Sun and hair products have really done a number on my hair, even using a clarifying shampoo hasn't helped much.

A quick, inexpensive, and all-natural way to brighten white, grey or silver hair is to use
"Mrs. Stewart's Bluing" every time you shampoo. It's an old-time laundry whitening product that is still available at Amazon for not much money. Add a drop or two (a little goes a LONG way) to your shampoo when you pour it into your hand, mix and apply as usual. All the yellow tones will disappear and you will end up with beautiful, shiny hair. Use whichever conditioner you like. I learned of this when working as an instructor at a grooming school - dogs have super sensitive skin, and this makes any white dog brighter, without damaging or irritating their skin. My mother used it when she went salt & pepper and now I do as well.
Do you think using the bluing in conditioner instead of or in addition to using it in shampoo would be effective? I bought a bottle last year when I was in the U.S. (it's crazy-expensive to buy it in Canada) but I haven't tried it since I still have a couple bottles of Light Blue Shade shampoo and conditioner that I'm using up.

For just gloss and texture I use John Frieda luminous glaze. Just smush some in your hair after shampoo/conditioner. Rinse after 3 minutes. It is hard to get white hair to look shiny. This works for me.
that really did make a difference I going to send it to my Mom and sister hope to brighten up there hair I really love how it lifted that temp color right out of your hair.
Well they won't see it until they get back next Saturday but I hat they like it . I pulled my hair up in from clipped and especially because I am trying to get a friend to stop coloring but she just laughed not ready lol.
it definitely made the grey shine and I thought gorgeous colour. Added bonus looked thicker and very healthy 😉

Monique, really like your videos. I've grown out my hair and it is now salt & pepper. Does SilverWhite lighten the natural color (pepper) portion of the hair? I don't want to end up with red and silver hair. Please let me know what you think.

What a Beautiful result.. that's really, really pretty!! I'm in my seventies and my hair in the front is set of white going back to the slightly darker gray mix with more gray it's really very pretty but I'm just thinking what this might do to it to make it really, really pretty.

I just got this product today so will let you know what I think. I've just begun using the Schwartzkopf products so if you try any others you like, let us know. I've read their website and there some good tips for gray hair. The product is a little hard to find here in Florida but I was able to find it at ULTA. Limited selection so will probably order online. Their Bonacure line looks good so I bought the deep conditioner and will try it. The Schwartzkopf reviews are very encouraging. Keep us posted.

My hair is white and fine. I used a blow dry brush curler and it made my yellow. I think it was too hot and scorched it. So I will only use ceramic adjustable temperature Irons or anything that heats from now on.

There is a difference! Nice.
For Zork....I use a vinegar rinse instead of cream rinse. Works beautifully Nono need for cream rinses and I have color on my hair. Vinegar rinse restores the PH balance makes my hair shine.
Can you buy Schwarzkopf in the stores or only in salons/beauty stores?

Any idea where you could get this shipped to Canada? I've used the silver white toner by Schwarzkopf which seems to be a similar product. So far it's just available in salons and I can't seem to find the spray online. The toner is fantastic! Works so well.

I did it just a couple of weeks ago, from drab brown, to white gray with just a very slight hint of purple and OMG, I'm so in love!! Go for it!!!

Thanks, Monique - good luck with the modeling job. Silverwhite spray looked great on you - gave it a lavender tinge but in a good way. Wondering if it contains phenoxyethanol (one of my allergens). I tried searching it on their site, but can't find it. Also, since it "brightens" white or gray hair, it probably contains colour (ppd);(. I'm avoiding putting any kind of permanent hair colour on my hair or temporary that won't come out easily.
I'm 38 and have been growing out my gray for about 18 months. I have about 65-70% gray with most of it on my crown and temples. The rest of my hair is a natural soft black. What effect would this product have on my remaining black hair? Would it bleach it out or lighten it?

I made the mistake of using argan oil on my hair, it turned it yellow. going to try the blue steel by manic panic to see if that helps. I have been completely silver for about 10 years I love it! I get senior discounts and I'm not a senior lol!

Wow! I saw the lights while it was still wet Monique! Then the outdoor hit the screen, and I was so excited! I’m due to have my hair highlighted one gain...heck, la appointment was sept 4th! I was going to ask for mor platinum pieces. ( she does a deep ash, golden ash and platinum on me! It amazing! I use purple shampoo every other wash! So tomorrow it’s purple day🤣🥴. I thin I will wait until on more shampoo goes by, then I am going to try your product here, to get the lift I’m looking for! Your hair looks really nice, I’m about midway going grey, I was very dark brown to black, with auburn highlights which was really nice because it was lovely and shiny, but now all the lovely auburn has gone grey mostly beside my ears, it sorta looks quite nice, but not as nice as I would like it, the grey is looking a bit dull, and with me having long hair, it makes my hair look dirty, can you recommend something to make the dark hair a bit darker (or maybe a nice even grey all over) and the grey hair a bit more grey? Thank you x

Can it be used during transition time? Does it work also on dyed hair or just on grey? I started to go grey after dying my hair for ages with L'Oréal No 7. I have just a couple of centimetres off dying still but I'm trying to find products with reasonable price as well. I don't know if the products you advise can be found here in UK. Thanks!! Xx

I'm always afraid to use some of these products, but this one looks like it worked. It did pull out the yellow from your hair so it looks like I'm going to have to order some. Our water here is so rusty that my hair turns yellow. I'm hoping this helps.

My product arrived a few days ago...ordered from Amazon.ca. Perhaps i did not apply enough or forgot to shake the bottle first but disappointing results - still yellowish ends on my longish hair - also it did not foam up at all. Can i safely redo now instead of waiting three weeks?

I have very white beautiful hair. At times I believe my hair takes on a very lite blond color. My original color was a very nice dark brown. I am very careful about what hair care products that I use, as many products ie: styling gels etc. have alcohol listed as an ingredient. If I use these products I shampoo my hair that night with a Castile shampoo. I sometimes use Berts Bees organic products.
FYI : Berts also has a great line of products for the little ones. I have three little grandchildren. My son and daughter use a variety of their products as they prefer to use any or all organic products.
I turned completely white when I was 35 yrs old . I am now 68 yrs old.
I am not looking to have a bleach blonde " look " to my hair ....but my question is , does this product line have any lite blonde rinse products ? I used a product like this 15 yrs or so. It is no longer available.

Hi again. So I'm in the growing out stage to go grey. like you had my hair bleached out first (it's pretty long) . I went ahead and dyed it using a silver metallic dye but find it is fading to fast and to damaging to keep reapplying. I've tried manic panic but not enough oomph for me. I just ordered the most amazing shampoo and conditioner called Burst and Boost in Silver Bullet by Killerstrands. Have you tried it? it's made by a woman in California. it's temporary and can be washed out and what is so fantastic is the incredible range of stunning colors she makes. I'm in love with her dusty (dirty) rose color and as soon as I'm completely grey I'm going to go crazy and try as many of her colors as I can without looking like a crazy 54 year old 😄
Anyhow just wondered if you'd tried her line and if not I think you would enjoy it. I should mention my fried hair feels incredible after using it.
